I love her complexity and growth as she tries to stick to her principles while also valuing her relationships, putting thought into how to adapt to them. Her story about what she wants to see, with her family in the future, is so moving. And she's just funny! Something about her writing a new story, or something set in a future she can enjoy, would be great; I'd also love slice of life stuff in college or set during the show. Maybe she could lead a discussion at university or just relax at a coffee shop. A time when she's contemplative about her life, or a missing scene from the show/movies. What if she's in a Halloween costume; how would that happen? I'd love to see a costume, whether regular or really outrageous like some of the ones in the credits.
I like her dynamics with just everyone, from her closeness with Jane to the rockiness of her family and her "similar opposites" thing with Jodie. I love her ambition and swagger and the care she has for those she loves. I love seeing her vulnerable and breaking down, and how she pushes forward. She's so much. Anything about her and her world would be great; the family dynamics with her three dads, her and her mother's love mixed with the tension of them both needing her to be great, her relationship with her powerful grandmother. I also really enjoy her rivalry with Libba, her conflicts and then loyalty with her unit, the bonding with Raelle, her enthusiasm and confidence with lovers, the sweetness yet prickly relationship with Adil, anger and vulnerability with Bridey, her devotion to Charvel and her family in general.
It'd be great to see her at a High Atlantic ball, or practicing her hand-to-hand, or her magic. Maybe tired after a fight, but trying to hold herself together. Or being held and comforted.

She's wonderful! I love her drive and her passion. She's so dedicated to anything she attempts to do, despite the wisdom or the risk, and she has so much energy. She wants so much. She needs things to be okay, to be better, and she just goes for it. I love her trying to find calm in the memory of her father, and the power of her grief for him. I love the pain in her relationship with her mom, all the more so because of the love still present in it. The envy of her cousin, but that she was also able to help Kamala push for her needs just by being herself. The resentment of Aneesha, and the anguish and sincerity of trying to work out their dynamic. The push and pull with Fabiola and Eleanor, whom she cares for so deeply. The long-held passion for Paxton (just seeing him made her walk again! Damn!) And her appreciation for Ben as an academic rival and a frenemy.
It'd be cool to see her in a fancy outfit she's happy with, or wearing a university sweatshirt, enjoying college life, at a family meal, or just having a night with her friends, or Paxton. If you'd like to include a ship, I like her with Paxton.

I love her angst and I love her humor. I love the way she desperately wants to talk to someone, someone who she's comfortable with, or whom she doesn't feel a need to protect from her pain, or just someone who's there when she can't take it anymore and breaks down a little before building herself back up. She's a problem-solver and a hero who looks for ways to get things done, brave and bold and empathetic, using the social skills she learned as a former mean girl for good. But she's also lonely and sometimes trapped in her own head. She also, despite not seeming to have academic inclinations, seemed to flourish in college when given a chance to be in interesting classes that challenged her to participate in discussions.
I'd love to see her back in college, or maybe taking care of a wound, or taking a quiet moment to rest after a hard day when no one's looking. Or even if someone is looking, with her finding comfort in it. Give her a chance to confide in someone, or snark, or both. Let her be angsty, or give her an adventure that's all fun on the emotional level. High fantasy Buffy hunting alongside elves! Buffy protecting and carrying girls/women! Buffy slaying in her forties and fifties and sixties! Immortal Buffy in the future!

I love the boldness and drive Uhura has, the sheer confidence. She's so in her element both socially--her introductory scene at the bar shows this, with how comfortable she is around people--and professionally, as when she first takes over as the Enterprise's communications officer. She goes after what she wants, in multiple areas of her life. She's empathetic both in the way she offers comfort and in how she respects boundaries. She's direct, caring, tender, affectionate, and communicates her emotions.
I'd enjoy a fic/art based on any or all of those qualities; show her pursuing a goal, like being hard at work even in bed, or throwing her enthusiasm and intensity into something fun like a party. Show her leading an away mission and learning things or easing diplomacy along, or having to kick ass. Or just being taken care of after a hard time, with cuddles and sex and conversation, or silence. Or her knowing just what to do take care of someone, or save a social situation. Maybe she's mentoring someone, or being mentored. Put her in a fancy outfit, or comfy pajamas!

I love how determined he is to keep himself in check for his duty and for the sake of others, and the way his angst over being the best Vulcan he can be actually leads him to Starfleet. And his softness! He's so soft around his mother and Uhura. I love the permeability of him. And his thoroughness and commitment to his people, the vulnerability in his willingness to ask his father questions about feelings, and the strange mentor-like dynamic with his older self. He cares so much and that's part of why he tried to rein himself in.
I'd love to see him during his office hours at Starfleet Academy, or teaching. Would be possible to get him into a costume, or at least a costume party? Or just patching up a wound/getting it patched up. Getting helped to walk. Maybe taking some time to himself to meditate. Or exploring a world alone, perhaps separated from the rest of the away team. Or maybe he's in Earth pajamas!

I absolutely love Uhura as this cool, controlled lady who's also warm and lively; bold enough to flirt in public with the most reserved person around, even if they're a superior officer and acting captain at the time, while still being a consummate professional. She's confident and good at handling people, and I imagine that's part of her skill as a performer. I like that she takes command of a situation and makes it look effortless, whether it be danger or a social experience. She's excellent at her job, whether it's actual communications or something adjacent like fixing up the fancy science fiction tech needed for that. Her open delight over the tribbles is fun too.
It would be fun to see her being empathetic and insightful, knowing when to push without crossing a boundary someone doesn't want crossed. I'd like to see her enjoying herself, whether it's through having adventures on a planet, taking a break to do something nice like read a book, doing her hair, enjoying her work. Captain Uhura! Maybe she meets a mermaid and they have a sing-off? Or she's choosing clothes to blend in somewhere. Maybe there's a costume party!

I love what an iron woobie Michael is! She suffers so much, partly due to the tragedy in her backstory and her own flaws; I love how those interact. I love that she's so kind and generous, and how this has a dark side in her willingness to take on the weight of something as if it's all on her to bear. I love her humor, too, and her boldness both in taking action and in social interactions, and how these things coexist with her being completely awkward and unsure what she's doing--the time loop episode is one of my favorites with her fumbling at romance and then doing something so dramatic and swoonworthy by the end to resolve the plot. So coolly, too! She's just so cute. All that reserve, but also warmth, and the love and intensity underneath.
Give her an adventure in which she's really good at what she does, or give her someone she can talk to. Show me her exploring a planet on her own, smiling at a new sight, getting some good sleep, with a creature she had to smuggle in the year before she was reunited with the Discovery, bruised, or being held. Any or all of those things would be great!

Maybe she could lead a discussion at university or just relax at a coffee shop. A time when she's contemplative about her life, or a missing scene from the show/movies. What if she's in a Halloween costume; how would that happen? I'd love to see a costume, whether regular or really outrageous like some of the ones in the credits.
I like her dynamics with just everyone, from her closeness with Jane to the rockiness of her family and her "similar opposites" thing with Jodie. I love her ambition and swagger and the care she has for those she loves. I love seeing her vulnerable and breaking down, and how she pushes forward. She's so much. Anything about her and her world would be great; the family dynamics with her three dads, her and her mother's love mixed with the tension of them both needing her to be great, her relationship with her powerful grandmother. I also really enjoy her rivalry with Libba, her conflicts and then loyalty with her unit, the bonding with Raelle, her enthusiasm and confidence with lovers, the sweetness yet prickly relationship with Adil, anger and vulnerability with Bridey, her devotion to Charvel and her family in general.
It'd be great to see her at a High Atlantic ball, or practicing her hand-to-hand, or her magic. Maybe tired after a fight, but trying to hold herself together. Or being held and comforted.

She's wonderful! I love her drive and her passion. She's so dedicated to anything she attempts to do, despite the wisdom or the risk, and she has so much energy. She wants so much. She needs things to be okay, to be better, and she just goes for it. I love her trying to find calm in the memory of her father, and the power of her grief for him. I love the pain in her relationship with her mom, all the more so because of the love still present in it. The envy of her cousin, but that she was also able to help Kamala push for her needs just by being herself. The resentment of Aneesha, and the anguish and sincerity of trying to work out their dynamic. The push and pull with Fabiola and Eleanor, whom she cares for so deeply. The long-held passion for Paxton (just seeing him made her walk again! Damn!) And her appreciation for Ben as an academic rival and a frenemy.
It'd be cool to see her in a fancy outfit she's happy with, or wearing a university sweatshirt, enjoying college life, at a family meal, or just having a night with her friends, or Paxton. If you'd like to include a ship, I like her with Paxton.

I love her angst and I love her humor. I love the way she desperately wants to talk to someone, someone who she's comfortable with, or whom she doesn't feel a need to protect from her pain, or just someone who's there when she can't take it anymore and breaks down a little before building herself back up. She's a problem-solver and a hero who looks for ways to get things done, brave and bold and empathetic, using the social skills she learned as a former mean girl for good. But she's also lonely and sometimes trapped in her own head. She also, despite not seeming to have academic inclinations, seemed to flourish in college when given a chance to be in interesting classes that challenged her to participate in discussions.
I'd love to see her back in college, or maybe taking care of a wound, or taking a quiet moment to rest after a hard day when no one's looking. Or even if someone is looking, with her finding comfort in it. Give her a chance to confide in someone, or snark, or both. Let her be angsty, or give her an adventure that's all fun on the emotional level. High fantasy Buffy hunting alongside elves! Buffy protecting and carrying girls/women! Buffy slaying in her forties and fifties and sixties! Immortal Buffy in the future!

I love the boldness and drive Uhura has, the sheer confidence. She's so in her element both socially--her introductory scene at the bar shows this, with how comfortable she is around people--and professionally, as when she first takes over as the Enterprise's communications officer. She goes after what she wants, in multiple areas of her life. She's empathetic both in the way she offers comfort and in how she respects boundaries. She's direct, caring, tender, affectionate, and communicates her emotions.
I'd enjoy a fic/art based on any or all of those qualities; show her pursuing a goal, like being hard at work even in bed, or throwing her enthusiasm and intensity into something fun like a party. Show her leading an away mission and learning things or easing diplomacy along, or having to kick ass. Or just being taken care of after a hard time, with cuddles and sex and conversation, or silence. Or her knowing just what to do take care of someone, or save a social situation. Maybe she's mentoring someone, or being mentored. Put her in a fancy outfit, or comfy pajamas!

I love how determined he is to keep himself in check for his duty and for the sake of others, and the way his angst over being the best Vulcan he can be actually leads him to Starfleet. And his softness! He's so soft around his mother and Uhura. I love the permeability of him. And his thoroughness and commitment to his people, the vulnerability in his willingness to ask his father questions about feelings, and the strange mentor-like dynamic with his older self. He cares so much and that's part of why he tried to rein himself in.
I'd love to see him during his office hours at Starfleet Academy, or teaching. Would be possible to get him into a costume, or at least a costume party? Or just patching up a wound/getting it patched up. Getting helped to walk. Maybe taking some time to himself to meditate. Or exploring a world alone, perhaps separated from the rest of the away team. Or maybe he's in Earth pajamas!

I absolutely love Uhura as this cool, controlled lady who's also warm and lively; bold enough to flirt in public with the most reserved person around, even if they're a superior officer and acting captain at the time, while still being a consummate professional. She's confident and good at handling people, and I imagine that's part of her skill as a performer. I like that she takes command of a situation and makes it look effortless, whether it be danger or a social experience. She's excellent at her job, whether it's actual communications or something adjacent like fixing up the fancy science fiction tech needed for that. Her open delight over the tribbles is fun too.
It would be fun to see her being empathetic and insightful, knowing when to push without crossing a boundary someone doesn't want crossed. I'd like to see her enjoying herself, whether it's through having adventures on a planet, taking a break to do something nice like read a book, doing her hair, enjoying her work. Captain Uhura! Maybe she meets a mermaid and they have a sing-off? Or she's choosing clothes to blend in somewhere. Maybe there's a costume party!

I love what an iron woobie Michael is! She suffers so much, partly due to the tragedy in her backstory and her own flaws; I love how those interact. I love that she's so kind and generous, and how this has a dark side in her willingness to take on the weight of something as if it's all on her to bear. I love her humor, too, and her boldness both in taking action and in social interactions, and how these things coexist with her being completely awkward and unsure what she's doing--the time loop episode is one of my favorites with her fumbling at romance and then doing something so dramatic and swoonworthy by the end to resolve the plot. So coolly, too! She's just so cute. All that reserve, but also warmth, and the love and intensity underneath.
Give her an adventure in which she's really good at what she does, or give her someone she can talk to. Show me her exploring a planet on her own, smiling at a new sight, getting some good sleep, with a creature she had to smuggle in the year before she was reunited with the Discovery, bruised, or being held. Any or all of those things would be great!
