Thank you in advance for the gift you will create! I love you already for offering any of these ships. Please take or discard this letter as you please; it’s only there in case you’d like it to prompt you. It’s a bit of a hodge-podge of new and old requests, and I will just be happy with whichever you choose to write.

Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano (Clone 08), Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano (Clone 08)
I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. I’d love something sweet during any time period; what about one of the times he’s sharing his mechanical knowledge—which he got from his mother—with her? I like to think it’s his way of meditation, and that it’s how he trains her with regard to that aspect of Jedi life. Or what about after a battle, when they both need to talk or just be together? I really liked the point in her novel where she’s thinking about how he used to take care of her after battles, help her deal with the mental toll of the war. I love their banter and their pleasure in dangerous situations, so maybe a moment building on that. Or something leaning on the near-telepathic abilities the Force gives them, with regard to being able to sense each others' feelings--they might sense something and pursue the matter, or get distracted and lose control of their own feelings. Not to mention, the Force gives them more stamina, so they could last awhile. Maybe they could celebrate a victory, or just let out their mischievous/competitive side during sex/something romantic. Or they could have any of the conversations they might otherwise engage in, except during sex/something romantic. Or they could be fixing his prosthesis! How about an AU where one or both of them was never found by the Jedi: Anakin remains a slave, Ahsoka was successfully captured as a toddler and sold by the bounty hunter (I love that bit of her backstory for the what-if of how she nearly had another thing in common with Anakin), so they run into each other under those circumstances; only one of them goes through what’s described above, until they’re found by the Sith, while the other remains a Jedi. Or maybe he tries to reach her after he’s gone back to the Light Side; what do they say, and how do they begin to move on? Does she know it, with the mystical transformation she seems to have undergone by then? Or what if he actually survived—they thought their time to live was over, and now they have to deal with living in a galaxy they never expected, together. I’d also love a Regency AU (set in space or somewhere more historical) akin to Sorcerer of the Crown by Zen Cho, with Anakin in this unstable position in society due to his origins and Ahsoka, also with a less than respectable background, swooping into his life with all her confidence and talent. Or a fairytale AU! Some fairytales I can think of that might be relevant to this pairing are “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.”
Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress (Clone 08)
I love the potential for tension here, especially given their dynamic in the season five finale episodes. Ahsoka warily depending on Ventress, Anakin being very unhappy as he told Asajj she was the only one Ahsoka had talked to and depending on her nevertheless, Asajj identifying with Ahsoka to Anakin’s shock. It’d be really fun to see this followed through as part of the arc’s impact, with Ahsoka perhaps meeting up with Ventress again and them running into Anakin in Coruscant’s underworld, or as part of a mission he ends up involved in without their knowledge—or maybe he finds out they’re working together and in his determination to meddle, gets more than he bargained for.
Barriss Offee/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano (Clone 08)
Much as with the above, I love the tensions here, and how when Ahsoka’s faith was shaken with even Anakin not living up to her expectations—in not being the one to break her out—she was still willing to risk talking to Barriss, and it hurt him to admit she wouldn’t talk to him; how Barriss knew Ahsoka would think Anakin had been the one to do it and would trust him only to feel disappointed; how when Anakin brings Barriss in and he’s happy, but Ahsoka is clearly distraught, and how all their hearts are broken by the end. Out of all of them, Barriss was the one to first express her dissatisfaction with the Jedi in a decisive and decidedly dramatic manner. She was also the first to choose to fall to the Dark Side in reaction to that, betraying Ahsoka and changing her world forever, just as Anakin would later do on a larger scale; meanwhile Ahsoka herself reacted to her dissatisfaction by staying with the Light Side. I’d love to see the fallout of the season five finale; perhaps Ahsoka tries to talk to Barriss before she goes and Anakin reacts, or he talks to Barriss himself, or Barriss somehow gets free and they all end up having a fraught reunion. Or as above, Anakin finds out the other two will encounter each other and tries to help, only to have things get more complicated than he expected.
CT-7567 | Rex/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano (Clone 08)
I’m really into the reveal (based on the sketches and talks in Ahsoka’s Untold Tales panel during Star Wars Celebration 2016) that Anakin gave her Rex along with half his men; there’s something really hot about giving someone half your army. And they’re really fun together. Maybe some sex pollen gets them to act on a simmering attraction—or when they reunite upon Ahsoka calling the other two up from Mandalore. What if the lead-up to giving Ahsoka command involves some reunion sex—first time for them or not—and/or goodbye sex? Or maybe, after doing things that give him a scare like that cliff-tossing, Anakin and Ahsoka try to make it up to him with some more fun, or soothing, uses of the Force? Alternately, what if they were all defectors from the Grand Army of the Republic and wandered around doing good together? While a bit on the run, since Rex is considered property?
Daughter | The Winged Goddess/Anakin Skywalker/Son | The Fanged God/Ahsoka Tano (Clone 08)
I love the Mortis arc for how the gods play with these two, and how they both foreshadow and ensure their future. Ahsoka is influenced by the darkness, but ends in the light. Anakin is pulled by both, but chooses the darkness for the last half of his life until it’s time for his death. The Son never wanted to hurt The Daughter, but he kills her, though part of her survives; Anakin never wanted to hurt Ahsoka and even as Vader did not move to do it at first, but his rage spurred him into trying and she continues to live. Then there’s how each pair is a set of counterparts, dark and light, light and dark; the difference only in how the mortals can both choose, where the gods are bound to their nature as avatars of The Force. I’d love to see more time spent with them all aware and sentient beings together; perhaps when Ahsoka is taken by The Son, The Daughter tries to help Anakin get her back. Or they all leave Mortis together, fighting and loving each other all the way.
Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano (Clone 08)
I love these three together. They’re so alike, restricted by the lives their responsibilities demand but with a fire inside, and so open to love. They seem very close even in the early seasons; when Padmé needs a Jedi around, it’s not always Anakin because sometimes it’s Ahsoka; when Ahsoka needs a teacher, sometimes it’s Padmé; when Anakin needs someone to watch his back and be sensitive to his emotional state, sometimes it’s one and sometimes it’s the other; they each have their own relationship with both of the others. I see them as an equal triangle, or a V-relationship with Anakin at the center. I’d love to see a moment where Anakin and Padmé welcome Ahsoka into their relationship, or perhaps something after they’re all established together. It was wonderful to see the other two were working in sync to save Ahsoka when she was framed; what if they both try to get her back to them later, even if not to the Jedi? Padmé could try to persuade her, and they could go down a process of accepting and figuring out a new life in which Ahsoka is not Anakin’s Padawan but they’re all still together, perhaps closer than ever. Or maybe it’s Obi-Wan who stays on Mandalore to handle Maul, Ahsoka goes with Anakin, and they all pull together during Revenge of the Sith. Or Padmé lives, and she and Ahsoka have a bittersweet reunion with Anakin as Vader, or post-Vader.
Star Wars: Rebels
Ahsoka Tano/Darth Vader (Rebels) Ahsoka Tano & Darth Vader (Rebels) Ahsoka Tano/Sabine Wren (Rebels) Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano (Rebels) Leia Organa/Ahsoka Tano (Rebels) Bo-Katan Kryze/Ahsoka Tano (Rebels) Kanan Jarrus/Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano (Rebels)
Ahsoka Tano/Darth Vader (Rebels), Ahsoka Tano & Darth Vader (Rebels)
I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. It seems to me that trying to kill Ahsoka was not in Vader’s plan—he’d wanted her alive before, and he had opportunities he didn’t take—so what would he do if he ever did find out she survived him? Especially if she never came out to try and find him. Does he try to keep her a secret? Keep on going in the face of her not coming back? Or maybe he tries to reach her after he’s gone back to the Light Side; what do they say, and how do they begin to move on? Does she know it, with the mystical transformation she seems to have undergone by then? Or what if he actually survived—they thought their time to live was over, and now they have to deal with living in a galaxy they never expected, together. Is he exiled or hidden in some distant world, or even in the Unknown Regions, and does she go with him or does she find him? Or a fairytale AU! Some fairytales I can think of that might be relevant to this pairing are “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.” I can also see a bit of a Hades/Persephone element.
Ahsoka Tano/Sabine Wren (Rebels)
What if instead of Sabine finding the Ghost crew, Ahsoka picked up this demolitions expert for the Rebellion? Sabine has this guilt over her part in giving the Empire resources, and Ahsoka is aware of her own unknowing complicity during the Clone Wars in the rise of the Empire. That could be interesting to explore! Or, if Ahsoka is a goddess, maybe the prompt mentioned above with art in which Ahsoka is depicted in connection to the Daughter can be an element in a story with this relationship.
Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano (Rebels)
These two know how to dedicate themselves to a cause. They throw themselves into it, while clinging to what relationships they can. It seems they’ve been meeting for a long time before Ahsoka is revealed to the rest of the crew; how did that relationship develop? Who found who first? Did they engage in a secret adventure where neither knew the other’s face at first? Maybe Ahsoka is Hera’s resident not-Jedi—or as close as she can be to that while still doing her job as spymaster. Or just her first not-Jedi. I like Kanan; it’s fine if you want to keep him around, and/or put all three of them together. I’m also good if it’s set after his death and Ahsoka settles down with Hera, or they keep having space adventures, or go after Ezra with Sabine. I didn’t request Sabine with them, but she’s awesome and I wouldn’t mind if you added her to this and made a poly ship.
Leia Organa/Ahsoka Tano (Rebels)
A founder of the Rebellion with one of its daughters. They both deal with such massive loss, largely alone. Leia had more of a support system, but we don’t see her availing herself of it. Ahsoka had no one; it seems even when she did meet with friends, if was brief and often work-related, as being a spymaster is a lonely job. Maybe Ahsoka comes back to see Leia when she’s grown, and teaches her a little of the Force. Maybe they both have to deal with the realities of Anakin/Vader together. What if Leia dreams of Ahsoka? What if they stay together throughout the OT and the ST? I don’t hate Han; handle him however you like. Maybe Leia has separate relationships with both of them, or they’re all together? Or they get back together after Han has been killed, and Ahsoka helps Leia through her grief as they both grapple with Anakin’s legacy.
Bo-Katan Kryze/Ahsoka Tano (Rebels)
They started out thinking they were fighting one war and ended up in another when the Empire rose. I’m very intrigued by them interacting, and I wonder if they ever had reason to do so again after their Empire-interrupted teamup to oust Maul in Mandalore. Neither of them would be very happy to see the Empire take over where Maul left off, for their own reasons; what if Ahsoka kept tabs on Bo-Katan through her intelligence network, and found a way to help once more? Or maybe they run into each other again while trying to lay low?
Kanan Jarrus/Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano (Rebels)
Ahsoka knew Hera long before she met the rest of the crew, which I love and we didn’t get enough backstory for. They both undersand dedicating themselves to a greater cause, and finding themselves in it. Also, Ahsoka likes her pilots! I’m here for that. Ahsoka has a connection to the Rebellion which gives her purpose, much like Hera, but she also knows what it’s like to lose her purpose along with everything else after Order 66, like Kanan. I love the warmth of Ahsoka and Kanan’s dynamic. He trusts her pretty fast, he worries about her even with her capabilities outstripping his, and he defers to her judgment. They formed a quick connection despite not spending much time together. Maybe their being survivors made them feel like they knew each other without having to know all the facts? Then there’s Kanan, who didn’t have a purpose and was lost to himself, until Hera brought him into her family and he started to find himself again through doing good and forming bonds.
If Ahsoka were in a relationship with those two, how would it work out with their issues being what they are? Perhaps Ahsoka visits Kanan and Hera on the Ghost sometimes, even before the show, and she becomes a part of their relationship even when she’s away. Or Hera was already in a relationship with Ahsoka when she meet Kanan, and they bring him into it. Maybe missing scenes where the three of them support each other? How do they handle Ahsoka having to deal with Vader?
Legend of the Seeker (TV)
Dahlia/Cara Mason Cara Mason/Darken Rahl
Dahlia/Cara Mason
Dahlia was a rare peek at Cara having some vulnerability before her travels with Richard and co. I loved getting to see that care beyond the sense of responsibility she’d once had as a leader among the Mord’Sith, and I loved that Dahlia, for all her betrayal, was genuinely trying to express her love in return via that betrayal. That she really thought Cara just needed to be brought back to join her again; of course, she had the same pride Cara had always asserted in their power and what they’ve become through all the pain their training put them through. They loved each other, but they could never express that in a way that would leave them empathetic, vulnerable. I’d love to see something exploring how they came together, isolated from the world they’d known before the Mord’Sith and embracing their new world, the one they saw reflected and perfected in each other. Maybe an incident of respect-filled, flirtatious competition?
Cara Mason/Darken Rahl
I love Cara, and I love her complicated relationship to her identity, how she roots it in her service to Rahl while also seeming very capable of turning it into something that serves her too; she did, after all, choose to help Richard and try to become queen in Rahl’s absence, even if that last bit didn’t stick. I’d love to see her life before we see her on the show, how she navigates her relationship with her lord. On his part, he’s absolutely awful in what he chooses to do, but seems to have a genuine insecurity about how he has to torture Cara and her sisters to exact the kind of loyalty he wants. A nerve she knew to hit. I’d love something exploring the mess of this relationship on either or both sides, the ways they know how to hurt and manipulate each other, and Cara being her irrepressible self even in an unequal relationship.
Xena: Warrior Princess
Ares/Xena, Cyane I/Xena
Ares/Xena
One of my very early ships. I loved the heat of them, the way he pulled at both the instincts she used to indulge in and the kind of ambition she used to pride herself on, and how continuing to tangle with her dragged out the softer feelings he didn’t know he was capable of. I love them equally whether as god and human or human and human; do feel free to also create an alternate reality in which she does become a god too, like he once suggested. They were both well-matched and doomed to pass each other by. Anything that plays on how well they know each other, even as they don’t understand significant parts of who they are, would be great.
Cyane I/Xena
I loved these two from the start. The antagonism, Xena’s grudging respect and wish to prove herself worthy of Cyane in a fair fight. Xena initially trying to surprise her naked and Cyane stripping her in turn while showing her up. They’re delightful. I’d love to see something about them spending time together, in between their meeting and Xena’s final choice to kill her. Or perhaps an AU in which she doesn’t, in which she lets her interest in Cyane get her too invested in keeping her around.
Again, thank you so much for your creativity and hard work. I hope you enjoy the exchange!
