Dear Yoda,

Thank you in advance for the gift! I will be so happy with any of the requests here. If you should want a letter, I hope this one is useful to you.

Parallels (and contrasts) between characters and their journeys are a thing for me.

I like characters looking out for each other and rescuing each other, giving care and emotional support. Especially when women are the ones receiving care and support, getting their needs made a priority by their loved ones.

Canon divergence and role reversals are loved, though I also enjoy other AUs.

Here are some more things I enjoy: fusions, vignettes, character studies, plotty stuff, angst, fluff, smut, adventure, characters talking to each other, character focus in smut, enemies to lovers, friends/lovers to enemies to lovers/friends, pining, worldbuilding, quiet character moments, bittersweet endings, happy endings, open/ambiguous endings, quiet and subtle romance, the total opposite of quiet and subtle romance—these fandoms do have a high drama quotient, psychological horror, cunnilingus, messy and complicated dynamics, blurring between obligation/need and love, fear/horror/anger mixed with desire/love, politics, isolation, competitiveness, competitive smut, limited agency, legacy, manipulation, scheming, ulterior motives for sex, Force bonds, Force shenanigans, Force Ghosts, time travel, weird worlds/dimensions, time moves differently, scars, suspense, undercover, undercover as a couple, mission fic, teaching games, compromised sense of self, interpersonal tension, duty versus desire, love/hate, possessiveness, insecurity, secret relationships, secrets, the divine as sex, using the Force for sex, choking, breathplay, bloodplay, biting, scratching, Ahsoka’s fangs, growling, blindfolding, chains, trust issues, implicit trust, emotional intimacy, casual displays of affection, shared beds, snuggling, sitting/lying in laps, jumping people, stories where the woman/women are a significant part of the man/men’s characterization, stories where the woman/women are a significant part of each other’s characterization, characters gathering each other’s backstory a little at a time, investigating each other, spying, sex and violence paired together, fucking in the same room as your enemies’ corpse, body heat sharing, loneliness, connecting to the force together, mutual pining, dreams, fix-it, parallel universes, parallel universe characters, us against the world, outside pov, story/fragments of story as told in-universe, ghosts, ghost sex, feeling each others sensations during sex, IF/interactive fiction, poetry, rough sex, rough kissing, lap sex, sex on furniture, sex against walls, rough kissing, lap sex, sex on furniture, sex against walls, slow sex, quick sex, gentle sex, neck kissing, kissing tears, kissing hands (back of or palm), nuzzling, afterglow cuddles, underwater sex, sexy baths, sexy showers, desperate sex

Any Era

Ahsoka Tano (SW)

My favorite and forever girl. I love her curiosity, her ability to follow what she feels is right even when she’s full of uncertainty and her life is in shambles, her independence in that. She’s still kind, compassionate, and thoughtful. I’d love glimpses of her pre-Anakin life—what was life as a youngling like for her? Did she want to join the war? What did she think of it? I’d also love to see her getting her lightsabers. Or what she did after leaving the Jedi, trying to survive and not being able to help using her abilities to help people, but working without the resources and support she’s used to, trying to find her place in the galaxy. How did she work on keeping a sense of who she was, after leaving everything she’d used to define herself, her life’s dream and goal? What about her working as a spy, bringing the Rebellion’s intelligence network into being. It must’ve been a lonely life, and in her book we see how she has to tamp down her Force abilities to avoid notice, which alienates her even more from how she used to be. How does she hold on to her purpose, her sense of self? Show me her doing some good deeds, maybe Rebellion-related, or maybe not, maybe just because. Or show me what she did after walking back into Malachor’s Sith temple.

The Clone Wars Era

Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano

I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. I’d love something sweet during any time period; what about one of the times he’s sharing his mechanical knowledge—which he got from his mother—with her? I like to think it’s his way of meditation, and that it’s how he trains her with regard to that aspect of Jedi life. Or what about after a battle, when they both need to talk or just be together? I really liked the point in her novel where she’s thinking about how he used to take care of her after battles, help her deal with the mental toll of the war. I love their banter and their pleasure in dangerous situations, so maybe a moment building on that. Or something leaning on the near-telepathic abilities the Force gives them, with regard to being able to sense each others' feelings--they might sense something and pursue the matter, or get distracted and lose control of their own feelings. Not to mention, the Force gives them more stamina, so they could last awhile. Maybe they could celebrate a victory, or just let out their mischievous/competitive side during sex/something romantic. Or they could have any of the conversations they might otherwise engage in, except during sex/something romantic. Or they could be fixing his prosthesis! How about an AU where one or both of them was never found by the Jedi: Anakin remains a slave, Ahsoka was successfully captured as a toddler and sold by the bounty hunter (I love that bit of her backstory for the what-if of how she nearly had another thing in common with Anakin), so they run into each other under those circumstances; only one of them goes through what’s described above, until they’re found by the Sith, while the other remains a Jedi. Or maybe he tries to reach her after he’s gone back to the Light Side; what do they say, and how do they begin to move on? Does she know it, with the mystical transformation she seems to have undergone by then? Or what if he actually survived—they thought their time to live was over, and now they have to deal with living in a galaxy they never expected, together. I’d also love a Regency AU (set in space or somewhere more historical) akin to Sorcerer of the Crown by Zen Cho, with Anakin in this unstable position in society due to his origins and Ahsoka, also with a less than respectable background, swooping into his life with all her confidence and talent. Or a fairytale AU! Some fairytales I can think of that might be relevant to this pairing are “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.”

Anakin Skywalker/Asajj Ventress/Ahsoka Tano

I love the potential for tension here, especially given their dynamic in the season five finale episodes. Ahsoka warily depending on Ventress, Anakin being very unhappy as he told Asajj she was the only one Ahsoka had talked to and depending on her nevertheless, Asajj identifying with Ahsoka to Anakin’s shock. It’d be really fun to see this followed through as part of the arc’s impact, with Ahsoka perhaps meeting up with Ventress again and them running into Anakin in Coruscant’s underworld, or as part of a mission he ends up involved in without their knowledge—or maybe he finds out they’re working together and in his determination to meddle, gets more than he bargained for.

Barriss Offee/Ahsoka Tano/Anakin Skywalker

Much as with the above, I love the tensions here, and how when Ahsoka’s faith was shaken with even Anakin not living up to her expectations—in not being the one to break her out—she was still willing to risk talking to Barriss, and it hurt him to admit she wouldn’t talk to him; how Barriss knew Ahsoka would think Anakin had been the one to do it and would trust him only to feel disappointed; how when Anakin brings Barriss in and he’s happy, but Ahsoka is clearly distraught, and how all their hearts are broken by the end. Out of all of them, Barriss was the one to first express her dissatisfaction with the Jedi in a decisive and decidedly dramatic manner. She was also the first to choose to fall to the Dark Side in reaction to that, betraying Ahsoka and changing her world forever, just as Anakin would later do on a larger scale; meanwhile Ahsoka herself reacted to her dissatisfaction by staying with the Light Side. I’d love to see the fallout of the season five finale; perhaps Ahsoka tries to talk to Barriss before she goes and Anakin reacts, or he talks to Barriss himself, or Barriss somehow gets free and they all end up having a fraught reunion. Or as above, Anakin finds out the other two will encounter each other and tries to help, only to have things get more complicated than he expected.

Miraj Scintel/Ahsoka Tano

What if Ahsoka didn’t need to break her cover? What kind of interactions might they have had? Miraj found her attractive, but rebellious. Still, she seemed into strength. What arrangement would she try to make with Ahsoka, if Ahsoka proved her strength to her?

Or, you could go AU with it. The Zygerrians and the Togruta seem like they might’ve had an interesting history together. What if the Zygerrian empire, or its remnants, were still powerful, and Ahsoka was sent there by the Togrutas as a tribute, or a peace offering, and/or part of an arranged marriage to protect Shili from being enslaved? Or maybe Ahsoka really was taken by a slaver as a child instead of the real Jedi—the early designs for that impostor Jedi eventually became the Zygerrians—and ended up in Miraj’s court, a valuable slave and/or bodyguard thanks to her Force abilities?

Miraj Scintel/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

Miraj Scintel found both Ahsoka and Anakin attractive and things could have gone differently for both of them. What if, when accepting Ahsoka as a slave, she wanted to seal the deal by enjoying them both—or she just wanted to watch—and Anakin broke their cover to protect Ahsoka, failed as in the show and things went south? Or what if Ahsoka convinced him not to break it? What if they try to pretend he’s had her for pleasure before? How long does it last before they can escape and free the other slaves? Or there’s a missing scene from the episodes where something like this happened before Ahsoka got put in the cage and they had to wait to see if the other was all right. Maybe Anakin tries to make her enjoy it, to make it less awful for her, and it only gives her—and him—more to process after it’s all done? Or Miraj makes Ahsoka ride him and he encourages her, trying to reassure her? I’m imagining a scenario where they were already attracted to each other (feel free to pretend Padmé never happened or not, as you wish.) Them both being Force-sensitive would make it even more intense—the sensations, their existing Force-bond connection, their feelings. Then there’s the part where in the show, Anakin seemed to develop sympathy for Miraj, despite his hatred of slavery and slavers—his past would seem to be relevant here, as well as perhaps the Jedi training on compassion and his ability to feel for people; how would he and Ahsoka handle that when they’re being forced into this situation and watching what’s happening to the other as well as themselves?

I’d also really love Anakin and Ahsoka trying to recover together, taking care of each other, trauma-bonding. Anakin tries to help Ahsoka through it, as he does after their usual battles and struggles, and Ahsoka tries to help him in turn; maybe sharing the experience brings him to talk about his past as a slave, and they become closer. What if they reclaim intimacy and the relationship and need to touch each other more in the aftermath? What if they end up feeling more comfortable being vulnerable physically and emotionally with each other as they recover?

Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

They’re a fun trio! I love their push and pull with each other. Ahsoka is like Anakin, but with less straying into the dark, and both her and Obi-Wan’s relationships with Anakin comment on the other: Ahsoka gives Anakin some of the trouble he gave Obi-Wan, but in turn this means they’re both aligned in a way Anakin and Obi-Wan aren’t. Anakin tries to take care of them and they try to take care of him, sometimes together—I really like that moment in the Zygerria arc where Ahsoka, having noticed Anakin getting a little more unhinged when dealing with slavers, talks with Obi-Wan about keeping an eye on him. They all enjoy each other’s company and are at ease being in battle together. They all snark and they enjoy danger, even if Obi-Wan tries to be restrained about it. I love when Ahsoka gets to be amused at the other two going at it, and when Obi-Wan gets to be amused at her making Anakin flustered. Maybe Anakin should get a turn at being the calm one, somehow. Well, calmer. How about mission fic where they’re all fake-married? The worst affectionately squabbling polyamorous ship! Or a day in the life, except this life includes sex for stress relief. Sparring leads to feelings overload and the other two cause Obi-Wan to veer away from what he thinks is strictly correct for a Jedi—he just needs someone to ask him to!

Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

I love these three together. They’re so alike, restricted by the lives their responsibilities demand but with a fire inside, and so open to love. They seem very close even in the early seasons; when Padmé needs a Jedi around, it’s not always Anakin because sometimes it’s Ahsoka; when Ahsoka needs a teacher, sometimes it’s Padmé; when Anakin needs someone to watch his back and be sensitive to his emotional state, sometimes it’s one and sometimes it’s the other; they each have their own relationship with both of the others. I see them as an equal triangle, or a V-relationship with Anakin at the center. I’d love to see a moment where Anakin and Padmé welcome Ahsoka into their relationship, or perhaps something after they’re all established together. It was wonderful to see the other two were working in sync to save Ahsoka when she was framed; what if they both try to get her back to them later, even if not to the Jedi? Padmé could try to persuade her, and they could go down a process of accepting and figuring out a new life in which Ahsoka is not Anakin’s Padawan but they’re all still together, perhaps closer than ever. Or maybe it’s Obi-Wan who stays on Mandalore to handle Maul, Ahsoka goes with Anakin, and they all pull together during Revenge of the Sith. Or Padmé lives, and she and Ahsoka have a bittersweet reunion with Anakin as Vader, or post-Vader.

The Daughter | Winged Goddess/Ahsoka Tano

The transfusion of life from The Daughter could be fun to play with. Maybe Ahsoka becomes immortal. Maybe she has to outlive everyone she ever comes to know, and not just because they all got killed in the various wars going on. Or she ascends into godhood the more enlightened she becomes, with her own power and experience melded with The Daughter’s, and there comes to be a temple with her image somewhere. What if she sees her in dreams? Maybe The Daughter becomes another teacher to her alongside Anakin. Or she watches her, always connected, but Ahsoka isn’t wholly aware of it until later—maybe in Malachor, when she seems to stop participating in worldly matters and instead delve into the mystical side of the Force more deeply.

The Daughter | Winged Goddess/Anakin Skywalker/The Son | Fanged God/Ahsoka Tano

I love the Mortis arc for how the gods play with these two, and how they both foreshadow and ensure their future. Ahsoka is influenced by the darkness, but ends in the light. Anakin is pulled by both, but chooses the darkness for the last half of his life until it’s time for his death. The Son never wanted to hurt The Daughter, but he kills her, though part of her survives; Anakin never wanted to hurt Ahsoka and even as Vader did not move to do it at first, but his rage spurred him into trying and she continues to live. Then there’s how each pair is a set of counterparts, dark and light, light and dark; the difference only in how the mortals can both choose, where the gods are bound to their nature as avatars of The Force. I’d love to see more time spent with them all aware and sentient beings together; perhaps when Ahsoka is taken by The Son, The Daughter tries to help Anakin get her back. Or they all leave Mortis together, fighting and loving each other all the way.

CT-7567 | Rex/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

I’m really into the reveal (based on the sketches and talks in Ahsoka’s Untold Tales panel during Star Wars Celebration 2016) that Anakin gave her Rex along with half his men; there’s something really hot about giving someone half your army. And they’re really fun together. Maybe some sex pollen gets them to act on a simmering attraction—or when they reunite upon Ahsoka calling the other two up from Mandalore. What if the lead-up to giving Ahsoka command involves some reunion sex—first time for them or not—and/or goodbye sex? Or maybe, after doing things that give him a scare like that cliff-tossing, Anakin and Ahsoka try to make it up to him with some more fun, or soothing, uses of the Force? Alternately, what if they were all defectors from the Grand Army of the Republic and wandered around doing good together? While a bit on the run, since Rex is considered property?

Dooku/Ahsoka Tano

They both left the Jedi, disillusioned, and took very different paths. It’d be fun to give them a reason to talk to each other! If Ahsoka had been with Anakin in the rescue of the Chancellor, would she have stopped him? What if she had, and things turned out so that Dooku felt he had to run off with her as a hostage for safety? What if Ahsoka went into the past from Rebels and, trying to avoid meeting herself and anyone she was close to directly, fell into working with her old enemies by accident? Maybe she ends up working with Dooku instead; older Ahsoka gives him a shock, being wiser and more powerful, and he ends up reconsidering his allegiance to his master? Of course, eventually her Force presence and the shenanigans do bring her to the attention of her former self and her old master…Alternately, Dooku ends up going forward—perhaps in the World Between Worlds, Ahsoka looks on a scene with him and they can feel her gaze, so they investigate and she winds up pulling him through. They then find themselves adrift in a new galaxy, working with the last Jedi against the Empire they were all used to build, and more directly against an enemy Ahsoka once knew. I also like the idea of them being stuck in loops, but the Force-sensitives being able to feel impressions of all the previous loops, which affects their dynamics and feelings for each other throughout time.

The Rebellion Era

Ahsoka Tano/Darth Vader, Ahsoka Tano & Darth Vader

I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. It seems to me that trying to kill Ahsoka was not in Vader’s plan—he’d wanted her alive before, and he had opportunities he didn’t take—so what would he do if he ever did find out she survived him? Especially if she never came out to try and find him. Does he try to keep her a secret? Keep on going in the face of her not coming back? Or maybe he tries to reach her after he’s gone back to the Light Side; what do they say, and how do they begin to move on? Does she know it, with the mystical transformation she seems to have undergone by then? Or what if he actually survived—they thought their time to live was over, and now they have to deal with living in a galaxy they never expected, together. Is he exiled or hidden in some distant world, or even in the Unknown Regions, and does she go with him or does she find him? Or a fairytale AU! Some fairytales I can think of that might be relevant to this pairing are “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.” I can also see a bit of a Hades/Persephone element.

Alexsandr Kallus/Ahsoka Tano/Cassian Andor

The first Fulcrum and her successors! I enjoy the potential tension of the dynamics here; she’s an early Rebellion leader, the one who put together the intelligence network they came into, and they all came at this from different sides. Ahsoka was a supporter of the Republic, until it turned against her shortly before becoming the Empire; Cassian was a Separatist and joined up a movement largely led by former Republic leaders; Aleksandr was an imperial, lately disillusioned. There could be wariness, but also respect, and admiration for the others’ skills and efforts. I really like the idea of Ahsoka being in charge here, and drawing them into something like a relationship despite themselves.

Cassian Andor/Ahsoka Tano

They started out life on opposite sides during the Clone Wars, very young--although the difference of Ahsoka being fourteen and Cassian being six is significant--and end up being vital to the Rebellion: Ahsoka as an early leader who founded the spy network, Cassian as a leader who took the name she created and stole the Death Star plans. The other thing that interests me is that Ahsoka, while not Jyn, did need some convincing to join the Rebellion, after a year of just being on the run and doing disorganized good deeds that went against the Empire on the way. And that's after walking away from her position in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Whereas Cassian got into this when he was a child and never looked back. He was certain of the cause and clung to that, where Ahsoka did not.

As the person who ran the spy network for most of the years between the rise of the empire and a New Hope, I like to think Ahsoka would have known of Cassian and perhaps even met him, before he adopted the name she created--Rogue One is only a few years after the events of Rebels, if I understand things right. Or just go AU with it. If Cassian was ten years older during the Clone Wars, might he have encountered Ahsoka directly, or indirectly? How would that work if they met again within the Rebellion? Or if he were an ISB agent and she were a Sith? what if she had been a Separatist too? If the CIS had won the war, could they both be high in the government? Or maybe just one of them, while the other is part of this AU’s Rebellion?

Chelli Lona Aphra/Ahsoka Tano

Two female criminals tangled up in relationships with Darth Vader, for different reasons. Aphra is a professional scoundrel; Ahsoka plays at being a scoundrel while trying to recuperate from her losses with regard to the Jedi and the Empire. I like to imagine younger Aphra could’ve had a crush on the younger Ahsoka; what if they’d had a run in then? Or they meet as adults and Aphra is reminded of that? They both had to deal with the consequences of the war, from different positions. They both end up at the same temple trying to procure valuable Force-imbued artifacts, Jedi or otherwise. Or it takes longer for Vader to meet Ahsoka—she’s investigating him when he’s employing Aphra. The women manage to use each other to get out alive, and they have fun before they part again. Maybe Ahsoka picks Aphra up while investigating Vader, and/or interrrupts Aphra’s escape plan and captures her.

Enfys Nest/Ahsoka Tano

Having lost everything to the Empire, one way or another, they both find purpose in fighting it. Enfys focuses on the criminal element, Ahsoka protects Force-sensitive children while dealing with the more official face of the Empire. What if Ahsoka was the one who brought Enfys into the wider Rebel Alliance? Or they meet through Saw, and they clash because Enfys prefers Saw’s tactics? Maybe Enfys hears about this Force-using Rebel and they end up playing games of cat and mouse trying to find out who it is/who’s investigating Ahsoka, until they meet with a healthy respect for the other. Or they meet when one of them is still lost in their grief, and they help each other find a place in the galaxy fighting for the right thing. Maybe Ahsoka finds out about Maul long before Malachor and, in the process of fighting him/taking down the Crimson Dawn, teams up with Enfys to take care of their shared problem.

Kaeden Larte/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka loves them both a lot. I love her missing Anakin and I love how meeting Kaeden is part of her regaining the sense of purpose and belonging she lost when she left him. And Kaeden could have two awesome warrior lovers to protect her! I’d love some AU where Anakin is on the run too and they welcome him into their relationship, or perhaps Anakin was with Ahsoka when she hid on Raada. Or, what if Ahsoka and Kaeden wander the galaxy doing good, and then suddenly they need to rescue Anakin? Or what if Anakin joined up with the Rebellion and is the person who reaches out to recruit Ahsoka, having been searching for her the whole time?

Kanan Jarrus/Ahsoka Tano

We don’t get to see much of them together, but I love the dynamic of this former Jedi who still behaves like one and this reluctant Jedi who’s coming back to it again—I’d love to see them coming back to themselves together. I loved the little moments of care, when Kanan would catch her as she fainted or want to go back for her as she protected them from the Inquisitors; how while they were both willing to let the other die in order to protect Ezra, regretting the loss of her drove his will into surviving long enough to go back in time to save her. I feel there’s a mutual respect there, and perhaps a bit of awe on Kanan’s part. I’d love a scene of them reminiscing about something, or doing a Jedi thing they used to do with their masters together. Or what if they’d run into each other soon after Order 66, when they were both lost and trying so hard not to be themselves, losing their old identities?

Qi'ra/Ahsoka Tano

Both of these women are forced to make difficult choices: Ahsoka despairs but finds hope and purpose again, while Q’ira believes her life is the only one there can be for her. I’d love to see them clash; maybe Ahsoka gives Q’ira hope, whether or not she chooses to treat it as real or as a fairytale. Or Ahsoka accepts Q’ira’s choices but still tries to reach out and support her when they cross paths during their adventures, even if they’re on opposite sides. Q’ira thinks the only way to come out on top is to advance in her organization. To that end, when she hears of a Force user fighting for the Rebellion/doing good deeds, she investigates and tries to pit her against Maul. Alternately, Ahsoka picks her up/has the Rebellion pick her up when she’s younger, and they meet again later, with Q’ira being a Rebel contact buried in the criminal world. Or maybe she winds up back with them for real, making her next meeting with Ahsoka fraught.

The New Republic/First Order Era

Ben Solo | Kylo Ren & Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano

Both Ahsoka and Kylo Ren have interesting relationships to Anakin, and they are both his legacy in different ways. Ahsoka is his path not taken, his bright mirror, everything good about him that survives and outlives even his physical presence in the galaxy. Kylo Ren is an attempt at continuing his dark path before turning back to the light, a deliberate choice to refuse what he feels is the light, where Ahsoka had to struggle with her darkness and desire for vengeance before transforming into the figure of light we see at the end of Rebels. Does he know his grandfather had a student? Would he go on a pilgrimage to Malachor and find her there, or find echoes that lead him to her? Perhaps both Ahsoka and Anakin are still around, physically or as Force Ghosts, and they find him, or he finds them? Or maybe he gets sent back in time, observing their relationship and being taken into it—or wanting to be included in it; or he just gets glimpses of them through the Force, perhaps dreaming, wanting to be a part of that. Alternately, the Empire never fell and Ahsoka never came out of Malachor, until Vader’s heir starts to have dreams...

Ben Solo | Kylo Ren/Ahsoka Tano

One of the most intriguing get-togethers that hasn’t happened. In their own ways, they each represent Anakin’s legacy, and they have their own relationships to that and to him. Ahsoka is his path not taken, having faced her own capacity for darkness when she wanted vengeance and chose against it, and Kylo Ren believes he is continuing his work by choosing against his capacity for goodness; as they both turn away and leave him behind, they continue on their paths, one to remove herself from the galaxy at large until she is needed and the other to dominated it in an attempt to fulfill his own needs. Does Kylo Ren ever find out his grandfather had an apprentice? What if he met her on some pilgrimage to Malachor? Or, in a universe where Anakin survived and Ben Solo still became Kylo Ren, would Kylo Ren find them together, and perhaps come to a different choice? Or maybe he finds Ahsoka in a sleep-like trance in the ruins of Malachor, and waking her leads to her being able to ward off Snoke’s influence? Maybe she trains him instead of or in addition to Luke, or a repentant Ben finds her when he’s trying to put what’s left of his destruction into a new life.

Poe Dameron/Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka would be a legend by now, and I really like the idea of her having authority over Poe—or sway if she’s not an official part of the Resistance for whatever reason. What if she’s one of his heroes? Meanwhile, his being a hotshot pilot could give her a little nostalgia. She could keep an eye on him, but not really mind. Maybe she’s just come back from Malachor, and it’s the future, and she’s willing to help the Resistance once they’ve all confirmed who they are (perhaps with some help from Leia or Chewie). Or she’s one of the allies in the Outer Rim, having returned from the Unknown Regions, and he might’ve been sent to her; alternately, she saves them at the eleventh hour and they have an encounter in a brief moment of downtime.

Rey & Ahsoka Tano, Rey/Ahsoka Tano

The concept of these two meeting is great! Ahsoka is touched by the light side, both in her choice to live in it and in how its very essence gave her back her life. Rey awoke to her power as the dark side rose. They both try to reach a dark-side user they see more in, and succeed, only to be betrayed by him, and they both face the hard choice of letting him go and coming in to their potential themselves, without any help. What if Ahsoka walked through another portal, when she knew it was time? Or perhaps she learned how to become a Force Ghost and that is the version Rey meets on a dream quest? Or maybe Ahsoka has become ageless, in a sleep-like trance under Malachor’s ruined Temple, until Rey goes there and wakes her up?

Rey & Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano, Rey/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

I love Rey and how she is much like Anakin and Ahsoka both, in different ways. Her desert upbringing, her loneliness, the way she stays for people who have done her wrong. Think of how she won’t leave Jakku until Finn comes back for her on Starkiller Base, and how Ahsoka promises Anakin she won’t leave him, and how Ezra comes back to save her from him; think of how they both see something in Anakin and Kylo Ren respectively, and are both betrayed by them. Ahsoka and Rey are the bright to Anakin and Kylo Ren. They’re also the light side of his legacy: the kindred spirit he trained, and the girl his weapon called to and awakened. Given Rey’s propensity to get into vision-triggering situations, what if she had one of Anakin and Ahsoka? What if she wound up in a timeless space like Mortis or The World Between Worlds, and had a chance to interact with them, or go back in time? Or maybe their ghosts come to visit her, perhaps as part of or the end result of a dream-quest.

The Daughter | Winged Goddess/Rey/Ahsoka Tano

Light comes to light comes to light. I really love the idea of The Daughter being carried on in Ahsoka and Ahsoka being carried on in Rey; we have The Daughter being channeled into Ahsoka’s resurrection and that act protecting her from Vader, and we have Rey being awakened supposedly as a light to counter the rising dark. I’d love if Rey’s training were completed by Ahsoka. What if she undertook a mystic quest that involved communing with her and The Daughter, or The Daughter brought her to Ahsoka?

Again, thank you so much, and I look forward to your work! I hope you have a fun exchange experience!
