Dear Spacer,

Many thanks in advance for being interested in the same out-of-this-world things as me! I hope you’ll find this letter a smooth ride, and feel free to discard any prompt that doesn’t work for you. I also hope the length of my prompts will not deterr you; I have created a Frankenstein letter of previous requests and new ones, and I want all of them.

Parallels (and contrasts) between characters and their journeys are a thing for me.

I like characters looking out for each other and rescuing each other, giving care and emotional support. Especially when women are the ones receiving care and support, getting their needs made a priority by their loved ones.

Canon divergence and role reversals are loved, though I also enjoy other AUs.

Here are some more things I enjoy: fusions, vignettes, character studies, plotty stuff, angst, fluff, smut, adventure, characters talking to each other, character focus in smut, enemies to lovers, friends/lovers to enemies to lovers/friends, pining, worldbuilding, quiet character moments, bittersweet endings, happy endings, open/ambiguous endings, quiet and subtle romance, the total opposite of quiet and subtle romance—these fandoms do have a high drama quotient, psychological horror, cunnilingus, messy and complicated dynamics, blurring between obligation/need and love, fear/horror/anger mixed with desire/love, politics, isolation, competitiveness, competitive smut, limited agency, legacy, manipulation, scheming, ulterior motives for sex, Force bonds, Force shenanigans, Force Ghosts, time travel, weird worlds/dimensions, time moves differently, scars, suspense, undercover, undercover as a couple, mission fic, teaching games, compromised sense of self, interpersonal tension, duty versus desire, love/hate, possessiveness, insecurity, secret relationships, secrets, the divine as sex, using the Force for sex, choking, breathplay, bloodplay, biting, scratching, Ahsoka’s fangs, growling, blindfolding, chains, trust issues, implicit trust, emotional intimacy, casual displays of affection, shared beds, snuggling, sitting/lying in laps, jumping people, stories where the woman/women are a significant part of the man/men’s characterization, stories where the woman/women are a significant part of each other’s characterization, characters gathering each other’s backstory a little at a time, investigating each other, spying, sex and violence paired together, fucking in the same room as your enemies’ corpse, body heat sharing, loneliness, connecting to the force together, mutual pining, dreams, fix-it, parallel universes, parallel universe characters, us against the world, outside pov, story/fragments of story as told in-universe, ghosts, ghost sex, feeling each others sensations during sex, IF/interactive fiction, poetry, breathplay, rough sex, lap sex, sex on furniture, sex against walls

DNWs:

permanently dead female characters (where she’s not even a ghost), the concept of Anakin and Ahsoka as a father/daugher relationship, mpreg, detailed gore, detailed description of bodily fluids and excretions, watersports, scat, emetophilia, noncon (unless requested/prompted)—dubcon is fine, rape (except where specified below), a/b/o, rule 63’ing female characters, body horror, explicit torture, permanently damaging torture, maiming, mutilating, bashing of characters or ships, unrequited love (except if it's only unrequited in a characters' head), unrequested/unprompted ships (though mentions are okay), stories where nobody really cares about the woman/women in the ship, m/m outside of m/m/f ships, focus only on m/m interactions, a story where the f/f or m/f is secondary to the m/m, AUs which don't use canon settings (unless prompted/requested), underage (17+ is fine, whether you change canon ages or set things when the characters would be 17+), ageplay/infantilization, humiliation (unless requested/prompted), bestiality, Jedi Order as evil/immoral (versus deeply flawed institution, which is is good), oviposition, monster sex, tentacle sex

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types

Relationship: Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Miraj Scintel/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Miraj Scintel/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress, Character: Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Barriss Offee/Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress, Relationship: Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress, Relationship: Barriss Offee/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: CT-7567 | Rex/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Dooku | Darth Tyranus/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Kalifa/Ahsoka Tano

Character: Ahsoka Tano

My favorite and forever girl. I love her curiosity, her ability to follow what she feels is right even when she’s full of uncertainty and her life is in shambles, her independence in that. She’s still kind, compassionate, and thoughtful. I’d love glimpses of her pre-Anakin life—what was life as a youngling like for her? Did she want to join the war? What did she think of it? I’d also love to see her getting her lightsabers. Or what she did after leaving the Jedi, trying to survive and not being able to help using her abilities to help people, but working without the resources and support she’s used to, trying to find her place in the galaxy. How did she work on keeping a sense of who she was, after leaving everything she’d used to define herself, her life’s dream and goal?

Relationship: Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Anakin Skywalker & Ahsoka Tano

I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. I’d love something sweet during any time period; what about one of the times he’s sharing his mechanical knowledge—which he got from his mother—with her? I like to think it’s his way of meditation, and that it’s how he trains her with regard to that aspect of Jedi life. Or what about after a battle, when they both need to talk or just be together? I really liked the point in her novel where she’s thinking about how he used to take care of her after battles, help her deal with the mental toll of the war. How about an AU where one or both of them was never found by the Jedi: Anakin remains a slave, Ahsoka was successfully captured as a toddler and sold by the bounty hunter (I love that bit of her backstory for the what-if of how she nearly had another thing in common with Anakin), so they run into each other under those circumstances; only one of them goes through what’s described above, until they’re found by the Sith, while the other remains a Jedi. Or maybe he tries to reach her after he’s gone back to the Light Side; what do they say, and how do they begin to move on? Does she know it, with the mystical transformation she seems to have undergone by then? Or what if he actually survived—they thought their time to live was over, and now they have to deal with living in a galaxy they never expected, together. I’d also love a Regency AU (set in space or somewhere more historical) akin to Sorcerer of the Crown by Zen Cho, with Anakin in this unstable position in society due to his origins and Ahsoka, also with a less than respectable background, swooping into his life with all her confidence and talent. Or a fairytale AU! Some fairytales I can think of that might be relevant to this pairing are “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.”

Relationship: Miraj Scintel/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

This is an exception to my noncon, rape, and humiliation DNWs, as mentioned in the general list.

Miraj Scintel found both Ahsoka and Anakin attractive and things could have gone differently for both of them. What if, when accepting Ahsoka as a slave, she wanted to seal the deal by enjoying them both—or she just wanted to watch—and Anakin broke their cover to protect Ahsoka, failed as in the show and things went south? Or what if Ahsoka convinced him not to break it? What if they try to pretend he’s had her for pleasure before? How long does it last before they can escape and free the other slaves? Or there’s a missing scene from the episodes where something like this happened before Ahsoka got put in the cage and they had to wait to see if the other was all right. Maybe Anakin tries to make her enjoy it, to make it less awful for her, and it only gives her—and him—more to process after it’s all done? Or Miraj makes Ahsoka ride him and he encourages her, trying to reassure her? I’m imagining a scenario where they were already attracted to each other (feel free to pretend Padmé never happened or not, as you wish.) Them both being Force-sensitive would make it even more intense—the sensations, their existing Force-bond connection, their feelings. Then there’s the part where in the show, Anakin seemed to develop sympathy for Miraj, despite his hatred of slavery and slavers—his past would seem to be relevant here, as well as perhaps the Jedi training on compassion and his ability to feel for people; how would he and Ahsoka handle that when they’re being forced into this situation and watching what’s happening to the other as well as themselves?

I’d also really love them trying to recover together, taking care of each other, trauma-bonding. Anakin tries to help Ahsoka through it, as he does after their usual battles and struggles, and Ahsoka tries to help him in turn; maybe sharing the experience brings him to talk about his past as a slave, and they become closer. What if they reclaim intimacy and the relationship and need to touch each other more in the aftermath? What if they end up feeling more comfortable being vulnerable physically and emotionally with each other as they recover?

Relationship: Miraj Scintel/Ahsoka Tano

This is an exception to my noncon, rape, and humiliation DNWs, as mentioned in the general list.

What if Ahsoka didn’t need to break her cover? What kind of interactions might they have had? Miraj found her attractive, but rebellious. Still, she seemed into strength. What arrangement would she try to make with Ahsoka, if Ahsoka proved her strength to her?

Or, you could go AU with it. The Zygerrians and the Togruta seem like they might’ve had an interesting history together. What if the Zygerrian empire, or its remnants, were still powerful, and Ahsoka was sent there by the Togrutas as a tribute, or a peace offering, and/or part of an arranged marriage to protect Shili from being enslaved? Or maybe Ahsoka really was taken by a slaver as a child instead of the real Jedi—the early designs for that impostor Jedi eventually became the Zygerrians—and ended up in Miraj’s court, a valuable slave and/or bodyguard thanks to her Force abilities?

Relationship: Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress

They start out in one place and end up in quite another, betrayed and eventually losing all their kind to the war and the Sith. They both turn to the underworld to cope: Ahsoka goes a little more criminal as a smuggler, even if she still does good deeds, and Asajj is willing to show mercy instead of just ruthlessly going after the money as a bounty hunter. I love how Asajj sees herself in Ahsoka, despite their former status as enemies, and Ahsoka being willing to plead her case. Their partnership is one of convenience, but they’re open to the idea that there’s more going on with the other than they thought. What if for some reason Ahsoka did stay with the Jedi, at least long enough to try to help Asajj out with them, or one of them sought the other out after she left? Maybe they run into each other on separate missions, or team up for one, and it leads to more reevaluation of where they stand? I could see Asajj occasionally helping Ahsoka out when it comes to protecting children from the Sith.

Relationship: Barriss Offee/Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress

The only people Ahsoka would talk to when she was on the run! There’s an interesting tension, with Barriss being Ahsoka’s friend, Asajj being a new ally discovering empathy for Ahsoka, and Barriss taking from Asajj as she discovers her own dark side. I’d love if Ahsoka met them again, and I bet Asajj would like her lightsabers back. It’d be fun to see their ambiguous relationships with Ahsoka explored, and how a former Sith apprentice can meet a former Jedi padawan turned dark in the middle—Ahsoka being the middle.

Relationship: Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

I love these three together. They’re so alike, restricted by the lives their responsibilities demand but with a fire inside, and so open to love. They seem very close even in the early seasons; when Padmé needs a Jedi around, it’s not always Anakin because sometimes it’s Ahsoka; when Ahsoka needs a teacher, sometimes it’s Padmé; when Anakin needs someone to watch his back and be sensitive to his emotional state, sometimes it’s one and sometimes it’s the other; they each have their own relationship with both of the others. I see them as an equal triangle, or a V-relationship with Anakin at the center. I’d love to see a moment where Anakin and Padmé welcome Ahsoka into their relationship, or perhaps something after they’re all established together. It was wonderful to see the other two were working in sync to save Ahsoka when she was framed; what if they both try to get her back to them later, even if not to the Jedi? Padmé could try to persuade her, and they could go down a process of accepting and figuring out a new life in which Ahsoka is not Anakin’s Padawan but they’re all still together, perhaps closer than ever. Or maybe it’s Obi-Wan who stays on Mandalore to handle Maul, Ahsoka goes with Anakin, and they all pull together during Revenge of the Sith. Or Padmé lives, and she and Ahsoka have a bittersweet reunion with Anakin as Vader, or post-Vader.

Relationship: Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress

I love the potential for tension here, especially given their dynamic in the season five finale episodes. Ahsoka warily depending on Ventress, Anakin being very unhappy as he told Asajj she was the only one Ahsoka had talked to and depending on her nevertheless, Asajj identifying with Ahsoka to Anakin’s shock. It’d be really fun to see this followed through as part of the arc’s impact, with Ahsoka perhaps meeting up with Ventress again and them running into Anakin in Coruscant’s underworld, or as part of a mission he ends up involved in without their knowledge—or maybe he finds out they’re working together and in his determination to meddle, gets more than he bargained for.

Relationship: Barriss Offee/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

Much as with the above, I love the tensions here, and how when Ahsoka’s faith was shaken with even Anakin not living up to her expectations—in not being the one to break her out—she was still willing to risk talking to Barriss, and it hurt him to admit she wouldn’t talk to him; how Barriss knew Ahsoka would think Anakin had been the one to do it and would trust him only to feel disappointed; how when Anakin brings Barriss in and he’s happy, but Ahsoka is clearly distraught, and how all their hearts are broken by the end. Out of all of them, Barriss was the one to first express her dissatisfaction with the Jedi in a decisive and decidedly dramatic manner. She was also the first to choose to fall to the Dark Side in reaction to that, betraying Ahsoka and changing her world forever, just as Anakin would later do on a larger scale; meanwhile Ahsoka herself reacted to her dissatisfaction by staying with the Light Side. I’d love to see the fallout of the season five finale; perhaps Ahsoka tries to talk to Barriss before she goes and Anakin reacts, or he talks to Barriss himself, or Barriss somehow gets free and they all end up having a fraught reunion. Or as above, Anakin finds out the other two will encounter each other and tries to help, only to have things get more complicated than he expected.

Relationship: CT-7567 | Rex/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

I’m really into the reveal (based on the sketches and talks in Ahsoka’s Untold Tales panel during Star Wars Celebration 2016) that Anakin gave her Rex along with half his men; there’s something really hot about giving someone half your army. And they’re really fun together. Maybe some sex pollen gets them to act on a simmering attraction—or when they reunite upon Ahsoka calling the other two up from Mandalore. What if the lead-up to giving Ahsoka command involves some reunion sex—first time for them or not—and/or goodbye sex? Or maybe, after doing things that give him a scare like that cliff-tossing, Anakin and Ahsoka try to make it up to him with some more fun, or soothing, uses of the Force? Alternately, what if they were all defectors from the Grand Army of the Republic and wandered around doing good together? While a bit on the run, since Rex is considered property?

Relationship: Dooku | Darth Tyranus/Ahsoka Tano

They both left the Jedi, disillusioned, and took very different paths. It’d be fun to give them a reason to talk to each other! If Ahsoka had been with Anakin in the rescue of the Chancellor, would she have stopped him? What if she had, and things turned out so that Dooku felt he had to run off with her as a hostage for safety? What if Ahsoka went into the past from Rebels and, trying to avoid meeting herself and anyone she was close to directly, fell into working with her old enemies by accident? Maybe she ends up working with Dooku instead; older Ahsoka gives him a shock, being wiser and more powerful, and he ends up reconsidering his allegiance to his master? Of course, eventually her Force presence and the shenanigans do bring her to the attention of her former self and her old master…Alternately, Dooku ends up going forward—perhaps in the World Between Worlds, Ahsoka looks on a scene with him and they can feel her gaze, so they investigate and she winds up pulling him through. They then find themselves adrift in a new galaxy, working with the last Jedi against the Empire they were all used to build, and more directly against an enemy Ahsoka once knew. I also like the idea of them being stuck in loops, but the Force-sensitives being able to feel impressions of all the previous loops, which affects their dynamics and feelings for each other throughout time.

Relationship: Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

They’re a fun trio! I love their push and pull with each other. Ahsoka is like Anakin, but with less straying into the dark, and both her and Obi-Wan’s relationships with Anakin comment on the other: Ahsoka gives Anakin some of the trouble he gave Obi-Wan, but in turn this means they’re both aligned in a way Anakin and Obi-Wan aren’t. Anakin tries to take care of them and they try to take care of him, sometimes together—I really like that moment in the Zygerria arc where Ahsoka, having noticed Anakin getting a little more unhinged when dealing with slavers, talks with Obi-Wan about keeping an eye on him. They all enjoy each other’s company and are at ease being in battle together. They all snark and they enjoy danger, even if Obi-Wan tries to be restrained about it. I love when Ahsoka gets to be amused at the other two going at it, and when Obi-Wan gets to be amused at her making Anakin flustered. Maybe Anakin should get a turn at being the calm one, somehow. Well, calmer. How about mission fic where they’re all fake-married? The worst affectionately squabbling polyamorous ship! Or a day in the life, except this life includes sex for stress relief. Sparring leads to feelings overload and the other two cause Obi-Wan to veer away from what he thinks is strictly correct for a Jedi—he just needs someone to ask him to!

Relationship: Kalifa/Ahsoka Tano

They got so little time together, but it was so sweet. Kalifa felt hopeless, but Ahsoka helped her find herself again, to be able to imagine and try for more than survival. What if it had worked? I’d love to see Ahsoka reuniting with her while Kalifa is recovering from her long captivity, or them recovering together. Or maybe they’re both in battle together. Or they both survive Order 66, Kalifa finds Ahsoka when she’s running and hiding and pretending not to be who she is—just as Kalifa once did—and now it’s her turn to do the comforting and inspiring.

Star Wars: Rebels

Relationship: Darth Vader/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Darth Vader & Ahsoka Tano, Character: Ahsoka Tano (Rebels), Relationship: Ezra Bridger/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Thrawn | Mitth'raw'nuruodo/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Ezra Bridger/Kanan Jarrus/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Kanan Jarrus/Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Kanan Jarrus/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Ahsoka Tano/Sabine Wren, Relationship: CT-7567 | Rex/Ahsoka Tano/Darth Vader

Character: Ahsoka Tano (Rebels)

My favorite and forever girl. I love her curiosity, her ability to follow what she feels is right even when she’s full of uncertainty and her life is in shambles, her independence in that. She’s still kind, compassionate, and thoughtful. I’d love to see her working as a spy, bringing the Rebellion’s intelligence network into being. It must’ve been a lonely life, and in her book we see how she has to tamp down her Force abilities to avoid notice, which alienates her even more from how she used to be. How does she hold on to her purpose, her sense of self? Show me her doing some good deeds, maybe Rebellion-related, or maybe not, maybe just because. Or show me what she did after walking back into Malachor’s Sith temple.

Relationship: Darth Vader/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Darth Vader & Ahsoka Tano

I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. It seems to me that trying to kill Ahsoka was not in Vader’s plan—he’d wanted her alive before, and he had opportunities he didn’t take—so what would he do if he ever did find out she survived him? Especially if she never came out to try and find him. Does he try to keep her a secret? Keep on going in the face of her not coming back? Or maybe he tries to reach her after he’s gone back to the Light Side; what do they say, and how do they begin to move on? Does she know it, with the mystical transformation she seems to have undergone by then? Or what if he actually survived—they thought their time to live was over, and now they have to deal with living in a galaxy they never expected, together. Is he exiled or hidden in some distant world, or even in the Unknown Regions, and does she go with him or does she find him? Or a fairytale AU! Some fairytales I can think of that might be relevant to this pairing are “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.” I can also see a bit of a Hades/Persephone element.

Relationship: Ezra Bridger/Ahsoka Tano

I enjoyed watching these two develop a trusting relationship. Ahsoka looks after Ezra and Ezra mourned not being able to look after her in turn. When he’s finally able to do that, she pays him back and then some, and he trusts her advice despite the immediacy and depth of his grief. And she comes back for him. I’d love fun moments like her training him in Forces of Destiny, with her gentle amusement and his eagerness to learn. Or maybe she left one of the holos of Anakin behind and he thinks about her when using them, before or after the events of “Twilight of the Apprentice.” Or you could give me their reunion!

Relationship: Thrawn | Mitth'raw'nuruodo/Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka as Fulcrum plays cat and mouse games with Thrawn. Ahsoka has to have fucked up Thrawn’s plans during her decade and a half time as the Rebellion’s spymaster. They wouldn’t have met face to face then in canon, but what if they had? Maybe for a brief moment, they are trapped together and have something almost resembling a civil conversation. Or what if she’d been on the Empire’s side, and he had to deal with her (plus Vader?) when trying to deal with Kanan and Ezra? What I like best about Thrawn in Rebels is his villain’s admiration for Hera and Sabine over Ezra and Kanan; might be in part because they’re not Jedi, but I enjoy him being drawn to the women, and I think it was a shame he only appeared after Ahsoka was gone. So if you want to play with that!

Relationship: Ezra Bridger/Kanan Jarrus/Ahsoka Tano

Ezra and Kanan love each other, bumpy though their relationship can be, and when Ahsoka comes in they have a warm connection right away. I enjoyed watching them trust and defer to her, Ahsoka protecting them while keeping her own counsel, and all three of them navigating being Jedi together. Ezra wants to be a stronger Jedi, Kanan doesn’t feel like a complete Jedi, and Ahsoka has survivor’s guilt but walks, talks, and acts like a Jedi. Instead of meeting Maul or Vader right off, they spend some time in the haunted ruins of Malachor and its temple, facing their ghosts. They find time for a training session on a suitably distant world. Or Ahsoka has to train them on the job. Or sparring leads to laughing and hugs.

Relationship: Kanan Jarrus/Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka knew Hera long before she met the rest of the crew, which I love and we didn’t get enough backstory for. They both undersand dedicating themselves to a greater cause, and finding themselves in it. Also, Ahsoka likes her pilots! I’m here for that. Ahsoka has a connection to the Rebellion which gives her purpose, much like Hera, but she also knows what it’s like to lose her purpose along with everything else after Order 66, like Kanan. I love the warmth of Ahsoka and Kanan’s dynamic. He trusts her pretty fast, he worries about her even with her capabilities outstripping his, and he defers to her judgment. They formed a quick connection despite not spending much time together. Maybe their being survivors made them feel like they knew each other without having to know all the facts? Then there’s Kanan, who didn’t have a purpose and was lost to himself, until Hera brought him into her family and he started to find himself again through doing good and forming bonds.

If Ahsoka were in a relationship with those two, how would it work out with their issues being what they are? Perhaps Ahsoka visits Kanan and Hera on the Ghost sometimes, even before the show, and she becomes a part of their relationship even when she’s away. Or Hera was already in a relationship with Ahsoka when she meet Kanan, and they bring him into it. Maybe missing scenes where the three of them support each other? How do they handle Ahsoka having to deal with Vader?

Relationship: Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano

These two know how to dedicate themselves to a cause. They throw themselves into it, while clinging to what relationships they can. It seems they’ve been meeting for a long time before Ahsoka is revealed to the rest of the crew; how did that relationship develop? Who found who first? Did they engage in a secret adventure where neither knew the other’s face at first? Maybe Ahsoka is Hera’s resident not-Jedi—or as close as she can be to that while still doing her job as spymaster. Or just her first not-Jedi. I like Kanan; it’s fine if you want to keep him around, and/or put all three of them together. I’m also good if it’s set after his death and Ahsoka settles down with Hera, or they keep having space adventures, or go after Ezra with Sabine. I didn’t request Sabine with them, but she’s awesome and I wouldn’t mind if you added her to this and made a poly ship.

Relationship: Kanan Jarrus/Ahsoka Tano

We don’t get to see much of them together, but I love the dynamic of this former Jedi who still behaves like one and this reluctant Jedi who’s coming back to it again—I’d love to see them coming back to themselves together. I loved the little moments of care, when Kanan would catch her as she fainted or want to go back for her as she protected them from the Inquisitors; how while they were both willing to let the other die in order to protect Ezra, regretting the loss of her drove his will into surviving long enough to go back in time to save her. I feel there’s a mutual respect there, and perhaps a bit of awe on Kanan’s part. I’d love a scene of them reminiscing about something, or doing a Jedi thing they used to do with their masters together. Or what if they’d run into each other soon after Order 66, when they were both lost and trying so hard not to be themselves, losing their old identities?

Relationship: Ahsoka Tano/Sabine Wren

What if instead of Sabine finding the Ghost crew, Ahsoka picked up this demolitions expert for the Rebellion? Sabine has this guilt over her part in giving the Empire resources, and Ahsoka is aware of her own unknowing complicity during the Clone Wars in the rise of the Empire. That could be interesting to explore! Or, if Ahsoka is a goddess, maybe the prompt mentioned above with art in which Ahsoka is depicted in connection to the Daughter can be an element in a story with this relationship.

Relationship: CT-7567 | Rex/Ahsoka Tano/Darth Vader

The dark mirror to the TCW version of the ship! As I mention in that section, there’s something really hot about giving someone half your men. So, Vader gives Rex to his right hand Ahsoka, in a dark-side AU for them all. Or maybe Ahsoka proves herself worthy of command by stealing Rex, which earns Vader’s approval. What if Rex went AWOL after Order 66 and the other two hunt him down to bring him back into the fold? Or Ahsoka tells him what happened to Anakin, and they both decide to confront Vader together to find out if it really is true, and decide what to do about it? Maybe Vader allows himself to be trapped/approached, because he’s waiting for them.

Star Wars New EU - All Media Types

Relationship: Cassian Andor & Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Cassian Andor/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Rey/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Ben Solo | Kylo Ren/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Kaeden Larte/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Qi'ra/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Kaeden Larte/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Ahsoka Tano/The Daughter | Winged Goddess, Relationship: Kaeden Larte/Ahsoka Tano/Darth Vader, Relationship: Chelli Lona Aphra/Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Selda & Ahsoka Tano, Relationship: Bail Organa & Ahsoka Tano

Relationship: Cassian Andor & Ahsoka Tano Relationship: Cassian Andor/Ahsoka Tano

They started out life on opposite sides during the Clone Wars, very young--although the difference of Ahsoka being fourteen and Cassian being six is significant--and end up being vital to the Rebellion: Ahsoka as an early leader who founded the spy network, Cassian as a leader who took the name she created and stole the Death Star plans. The other thing that interests me is that Ahsoka, while not Jyn, did need some convincing to join the Rebellion, after a year of just being on the run and doing disorganized good deeds that went against the Empire on the way. And that's after walking away from her position in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Whereas Cassian got into this when he was a child and never looked back. He was certain of the cause and clung to that, where Ahsoka did not.

As the person who ran the spy network for most of the years between the rise of the empire and a New Hope, I like to think Ahsoka would have known of Cassian and perhaps even met him, before he adopted the name she created--Rogue One is only a few years after the events of Rebels, if I understand things right. Or just go AU with it. If Cassian was ten years older during the Clone Wars, might he have encountered Ahsoka directly, or indirectly? How would that work if they met again within the Rebellion? Or if he were an ISB agent and she were a Sith? what if she had been a Separatist too? If the CIS had won the war, could they both be high in the government? Or maybe just one of them, while the other is part of this AU’s Rebellion?

Relationship: Rey/Ahsoka Tano

The concept of these two meeting is great! Ahsoka is touched by the light side, both in her choice to live in it and in how its very essence gave her back her life. Rey awoke to her power as the dark side rose. They both try to reach a dark-side user they see more in, and succeed, only to be betrayed by him, and they both face the hard choice of letting him go and coming in to their potential themselves, without any help. What if Ahsoka walked through another portal, when she knew it was time? Or perhaps she learned how to become a Force Ghost and that is the version Rey meets on a dream quest? Or maybe Ahsoka has become ageless, in a sleep-like trance under Malachor’s ruined Temple, until Rey goes there and wakes her up?

Relationship: Ben Solo | Kylo Ren/Ahsoka Tano

One of the most intriguing get-togethers that hasn’t happened. In their own ways, they each represent Anakin’s legacy, and they have their own relationships to that and to him. Ahsoka is his path not taken, having faced her own capacity for darkness when she wanted vengeance and chose against it, and Kylo Ren believes he is continuing his work by choosing against his capacity for goodness; as they both turn away and leave him behind, they continue on their paths, one to remove herself from the galaxy at large until she is needed and the other to dominated it in an attempt to fulfill his own needs. Does Kylo Ren ever find out his grandfather had an apprentice? What if he met her on some pilgrimage to Malachor? Or, in a universe where Anakin survived and Ben Solo still became Kylo Ren, would Kylo Ren find them together, and perhaps come to a different choice? Or maybe he finds Ahsoka in a sleep-like trance in the ruins of Malachor, and waking her leads to her being able to ward off Snoke’s influence? Maybe she trains him instead of or in addition to Luke, or a repentant Ben finds her when he’s trying to put what’s left of his destruction into a new life.

Relationship: Ahsoka Tano/The Daughter | Winged Goddess

The transfusion of life from The Daughter could be fun to play with. Maybe Ahsoka becomes immortal. Maybe she has to outlive everyone she ever comes to know, and not just because they all got killed in the various wars going on. Or she ascends into godhood the more enlightened she becomes, with her own power and experience melded with The Daughter’s, and there comes to be a temple with her image somewhere.

Relationship: Kaeden Larte/Ahsoka Tano

These two are wonderful! I love Kaeden being so welcoming and instantly attracted to Ahsoka, with Ahsoka reciprocating the attention without really being aware of it and being this mystery woman with a past. I love Ahsoka coming back and finding her purpose again, after all her grief, through letting herself get attached, find connections to being alive through caring for these people. Kaeden joins a medical ship for the Rebellion—what if they meet again because Ahsoka needs treatment and winds up there? Or maybe she needs to get some intelligence out to them, and there’s no one else to deliver it, or she chooses to come in person because Kaeden is there? What if they’re both trying to find a new role after the war is over, and they decide to try it together?

Relationship: Kaeden Larte/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka loves them both a lot. I love her missing Anakin and I love how meeting Kaeden is part of her regaining the sense of purpose and belonging she lost when she left him. And Kaeden could have two awesome warrior lovers to protect her! I’d love some AU where Anakin is on the run too and they welcome him into their relationship, or perhaps Anakin was with Ahsoka when she hid on Raada. Or, what if Ahsoka and Kaeden wander the galaxy doing good, and then suddenly they need to rescue Anakin? Or what if Anakin joined up with the Rebellion and is the person who reaches out to recruit Ahsoka, having been searching for her the whole time?

Relationship: Kaeden Larte/Ahsoka Tano/Darth Vader

Darth Vader comes to Raada instead of an Inquisitor. Ahsoka has to worry about her old master, her new (not)girlfriend and family, and possibly a new pupil in Hedala while dealing with the attentions of the Sith and the Empire. Kaeden has to deal with her (not)girlfriend’s past coming back to haunt them both. Ahsoka is the’s the first (not)Jedi Vader sees after Mustafar; he didn’t know but he’s not surprised.
Or Vader goes there knowing he’ll find Ahsoka, and Ahsoka has to juggle the safety of Kaeden and her newfound friends with the need to go see him and figure things out; she’s already the mystery woman who’s friendly but keeps at a certain distance due to her past, and such a situation would only amplify that. What about an AU in which Sith Ahsoka comes by Raada and picks up a girlfriend? She spares Miara out of mercy/for points with Kaeden.

Relationship: Qi'ra/Ahsoka Tano

Both of these women are forced to make difficult choices: Ahsoka despairs but finds hope and purpose again, while Q’ira believes her life is the only one there can be for her. I’d love to see them clash; maybe Ahsoka gives Q’ira hope, whether or not she chooses to treat it as real or as a fairytale. Or Ahsoka accepts Q’ira’s choices but still tries to reach out and support her when they cross paths during their adventures, even if they’re on opposite sides. Q’ira thinks the only way to come out on top is to advance in her organization. To that end, when she hears of a Force user fighting for the Rebellion/doing good deeds, she investigates and tries to pit her against Maul. Alternately, Ahsoka picks her up/has the Rebellion pick her up when she’s younger, and they meet again later, with Q’ira being a Rebel contact buried in the criminal world. Or maybe she winds up back with them for real, making her next meeting with Ahsoka fraught.

Relationship: Chelli Lona Aphra/Ahsoka Tano

Two female criminals tangled up in relationships with Darth Vader, for different reasons. Aphra is a professional scoundrel; Ahsoka plays at being a scoundrel while trying to recuperate from her losses with regard to the Jedi and the Empire. I like to imagine younger Aphra could’ve had a crush on the younger Ahsoka; what if they’d had a run in then? Or they meet as adults and Aphra is reminded of that? They both had to deal with the consequences of the war, from different positions. They both end up at the same temple trying to procure valuable Force-imbued artifacts, Jedi or otherwise. Or it takes longer for Vader to meet Ahsoka—she’s investigating him when he’s employing Aphra. The women manage to use each other to get out alive, and they have fun before they part again. Maybe Ahsoka picks Aphra up while investigating Vader, and/or interrrupts Aphra’s escape plan and captures her.

Relationship: Selda & Ahsoka Tano

I really liked how Ahsoka really liked having Selda around. That familiarity they experienced despite not really knowing each other, where they fell into their roles so easily as Ahsoka gathered intel. It’d be great to explore more about Togrutas and their culture, and what it’s like for them under the Empire! Or them working together in the future. I enjoyed the moment in her novel where Ahsoka felt Selda was taking care of her the way Anakin would.

Relationship: Bail Organa & Ahsoka Tano

Show me how Ahsoka forms the spy network and becomes a leader for Bail’s nascent Rebellion! I’d love to see them appreciate each other as valuable members in this movement. They’re finding purpose in making the galaxy a better place, if in a different context than they were before. Perhaps Ahsoka sometimes reminds Bail of Anakin and it creates discomfort. Or Ahsoka’s reflecting when she goes on a mission to a place she’d visited before as a Jedi and agent of the Republic. What might’ve happened if Ahsoka had seen Bail after learning Vader’s identity? She doesn’t have any reason to suspect him of having lied to her, and she herself seemed to be keeping it a secret, but if Ahsoka was known to have confronted Vader, and made it back to Bail afterwards, it might be fun for them to try to dance around the subject, with Bail trying to figure out exactly what happened and where Ahsoka stands, and Ahsoka picking up on Bail’s tension.

Relationship: Twelfth Doctor (DW) & Missy (DW) & Anakin Skywalker (SW) & Ahsoka Tano (SW), Relationship: Missy (Doctor Who 2005)/Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

Ahsoka Tano and Missy switch bodies, with the end result being that Missy becomes Empress of the galaxy with Anakin as her Enforcer, until either the Doctor and Ahsoka manage to set things right or Missy gets bored and leaves. Either way, Ahsoka comes back to a mess and her relationship with Anakin is now more complicated. Idea taken with permission from selenak on LJ here.

I’d also love some other way for Missy to come and mess things up for them; she managed to trap souls after death to turn them into Cybermen after all, and you know Anakin’s thing about death. Maybe he’s trying to repeat what he did with Ahsoka, or even bring her back from the dead when he thinks he as Vader has killed her. Or maybe Ahsoka runs into the wrong portal—and Missy—when she’s navigating the World Between Worlds, given how it can take you anywhere you’re thinking of, and they get into a mess with Anakin, which the Doctor tries to help set right.

Relationship: Michael Burnham (Star Trek: Discovery)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

They’ve been raised to be calm and dispassionate, controlled, but with very different backgrounds. They both have a passion that can lead them into doing something ill-advised, but they’re also idealistic and do their best to live up to their own values. In a universe in which both the Jedi and Starfleet exist, how might people with different yet similar philosophical backgrounds relate? What if Ahsoka comes to their side of space while on her quest for Ezra? Or maybe she walks out of her dimension via Malachor and into Star Trek’s.

Relationship: Valkyrie (MCU)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

Both disillusioned, both choosing different paths—or one took a longer time to get back on theirs, depending on where you take Valkyrie from. Maybe they’re both lost and meet each other in a bar, Valkyrie having left Asgard and Ahsoka having left the Jedi/being on the run from the Empire. Maybe Ahsoka needs to find a place to lie low, and Sakaar provides, but not without its own troubles. Or Valkyrie and the Asgardians’ escape from Thanos leads them into the Unknown Regions, where Ahsoka is on her quest. What if the Asgardian empire is still conquering, and Valkyrie is still serving its throne? Are they at war with the Republic, or is Ahsoka a Rebel agent?

Relationship: Twelfth Doctor (Doctor Who) & Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

I love Twelve and his mix of grumpiness with whimsy and kindness, and it would be fun to watch Ahsoka try to roll with the punches; there’s a different mixture of wildness than what Anakin had, but she’s still wild on her own. And I love that all the while she was struggling with the thought of the Jedi, and feeling survivor’s guilt over them, she was acting just as the ideal Jedi should, doing good across her galaxy where she could, just because it was right and she could. That could go well with the Doctor, and how he serves others.

Relationship: Thirteenth Doctor (Doctor Who) & Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

Thirteen is so curious and empathetic and inventive! And as with Twelve before, she serves others, trying to do good just because she can. I’d love to watch Ahsoka dealing someone a little wild, very brilliant, and who seems to adhere to her beliefs about the value of life; Ahsoka herself being a wandering do-gooder like the ideal Jedi even as she struggled with the thought of them, living with her survivor’s guilt, trying the best she can in her galaxy, and a little wild too.

Relationship: Ashildr | Lady Me & Clara Oswin Oswald (Doctor Who) & Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

The thought of Lady Me and Clara traveling through space and time, one immortal and one avoiding her death, pleases me. It goes well with Ahsoka avoiding death first via mystical resurrection and then through time shenanigans. Maybe, between Malachor and her quest for Ezra, she wandered into their lives and onto their TARDIS to have some adventures with a couple of women like her. I requested this as gen but feel free to ship any combination of these women with each other.

Relationship: Heather/Bill Potts (Doctor Who) & Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

I really enjoyed the idea of Heather and Bill traveling through space-time together. I really enjoy the idea of Ahsoka getting to have space-time adventures of her own, especially given her own connection to being beyond mortality through The Daughter’s essence resurrecting her. There’s a good chunk of time where we don’t know what she did, between Malachor and her return to Lothal. Maybe she gained some wisdom while making friends. I requested Bill and Heather as a couple in a platonic relationship with Ahsoka, but feel free to ship her with them too.

Relationship: Jupiter Jones (Jupiter Ascending)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

Space opera meets space opera. As a new queen, Jupiter needs help managing her kingdom, especially since neither she nor it had any idea—perhaps she calls on the Jedi for help. Maybe she joins the Republic for protection, or they try to woo her into it. Alternately, she’s dealing with the Empire and an undercover Ahsoka winds up on her doorstep, imperial agents on her trail; or Earth is so distant Ahsoka tries to hide in it for a while, and then she notices the attempts to grab Jupiter in the city.

Relationship: River Tam (Firefly) & Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

Between what happened to River and Ahsoka’s chosen purpose of protecting Force-sensitive children from the Empire, this could be interesting to explore. Plus, they’re both badasses who’ve been hurt and targeted by the power of the state they trusted. I’d love to see Ahsoka feeling protective of River, perhaps helping Simon get her out. Maybe River is an experiment in trying to make gifted children Force-sensitive, or further sensitize them to the Force for the Empire’s use. What if she could reach out to Ahsoka, and between her mind-reading and Ahsoka’s sensitivity, make a connection? What if Ahsoka ended up at the Academy too, with Anakin and Simon trying to get them both out? Maybe she and River escape together instead of being rescued.

Relationship: Kaylee Frye (Firefly)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

They’d be so cute together. Kaylee with her gift for mechanics and Ahsoka with what she’s learned from Anakin, and the way she relies on it to get by when the galaxy turns upside down. Maybe Ahsoka winds up on Serenity while running from the Empire, Kaylee’s fascinated by the kind, unfailingly polite mystery woman and they strike up a relationship. Or Rebel Ahsoka needs a place to hide and they have a secret adventure while the rest of Serenity’s crew is involved in some heist. Or the Jedi exist in the Fireflyverse, and Ahsoka goes with the Serenity as part of an undercover mission, or a mission in which she can give them respectability the way Inara does on the show. Alternately, what if she’s a disillusioned Companion trying to find her place in the galaxy?

Relationship: Inara Serra (Firefly)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)

I really enjoy the idea of Ahsoka the Rebel agent communicating with Inara, her contact in a Core world, or using Inara’s respectability for cover/access on a mission the way they do on the show. Or maybe Inara is pro-Empire, or was, willing to believe in it providing order and ending the war, until she sees the dark side of it—again, the way it ends up going in her canon. What if Ahsoka—and aliens in general—could existed in the Fireflyverse; would she be an Independent, or a soldier for the Union? How might her changing views of the Republic/Empire in her canon translate to the Fireflyverse with its Alliance and Independents? Also, I love the potential parallels and contrasts to be drawn between these two, as they both are/were members of state-approved institutions which gave them a certain amount of status/prestige in the galaxy, required service, and training from early childhood to perfect their control. Not to mention they both get disillusioned with the state they previously supported. How would a Companion and a Jedi interact? Or...what if Inara was a Jedi or Ahsoka a Companion?

Interstellar (2014)

Character: Amelia Brand, Worldbuilding: time-traveling evolved form of humans, Relationship: Cooper & Murph

Character: Amelia Brand

I loved this character’s mix of learning, her belief in the purpose of the science she practiced, and her belief in love, and how she was intuitively right about wanting to go to her lover’s world, with her theory about love being proven right by what happened with Cooper later on. What was it like for her to be parted from Wolf, both dedicated to the same cause, and what was it like to find his world at last? The bittersweetness of being alone, but knowing she’s found the future home of humanity, and she just needs to wait.

Worldbuilding: time-traveling evolved form of humans

This was fascinating. I’d love to see more of how these humans arranged for the events of the movie to happen, and what the perspective of a being like them might be like. I’d be happy to receive in-universe meta, such as records their society kept of the past and of how they became who they are, and what meaning time has to them.

Relationship: Cooper & Murph

The heart of the movie. I love Murph being the genius who figures out how to save those living on Earth, and Cooper being the one who facilitated her doing so. I’d be happy to see scenes of Cooper trying to educate her, telling her stories of what the world was like before. Or Murph after her discovery, and expecting her father back, understanding that he was her ghost, making peace with his decision at last.

Star Trek: Discovery

Character: Michael Burnham, Relationship: Michael Burnham/Philippa Georgiou, Relationship: Michael Burnham & Philippa Georgiou, Relationship: Michael Burnham & Mirror Philippa Georgiou, Relationship: Michael Burnham/Mirror Philippa Georgiou, Relationship: Michael Burnham/Mirror Gabriel Lorca, Relationship: Michael Burnham/Ash Tyler | Voq, Relationship: Michael Burnham & Sarek

Character: Michael Burnham

She’s brilliant, she’s principled, she’s disciplined, she’s good, and she’s a bit of a troubled wreck. I love her and her fraught relationships, and it was delightful watching her work to find her purpose and place after the disaster her choices helped create. What was her education like on Vulcan, and how was it for her to move on from that to the USS Shenzhou? Her time in prison? Or show me a scene of her adjusting to life back on a ship on the USS Discovery, trying to find her way again.

Relationship: Michael Burnham/Philippa Georgiou, Relationship: Michael Burnham & Philippa Georgiou

This relationship caught me from the start! I love them as both platonic mentor/protege and a ship. Michael was raised so differently from other humans and Philippa is so warm. Tell me more of their relationship, how they met, missions, showing their contrast and how they came to respect and love each other through their differences, while trying to adhere to the same values and ideals.

Relationship: Michael Burnham & Mirror Philippa Georgiou , Relationship: Michael Burnham/Mirror Philippa Georgiou

I was delighted when we got this version of Philippa. And the tension, with them still feeling for the alternate versions of their loves ones while not letting it get in the way of their goals! As mentioned above, I love them as both platonic mentor/protege and a ship. I like the thought of Philippa being Michael’s cannibal Catwoman of sorts, with escapades and encounters throughout normal Starfleet life.

Relationship: Michael Burnham/Mirror Gabriel Lorca

The messed-upness of this mentor/protege relationship very much appeals to me. Michael felt believed-in and believed in him in turn, with his charisma, and he was genuinely fascinated by her. I’d love a scene of attempted nonsexual-yet-sexual seduction on his part before the reveal happens, to keep her on his side. Or maybe a situation where she’s being manipulated but turns the tables and uses his interest against him.

Relationship: Michael Burnham/Ash Tyler | Voq

I loved them, and the time-travel episode cemented my love. It was fun watching the reserved Michael try for an intimate relationship, and devastating to watch Ash and his identity crisis, with what followed. I’d be happy with further exploration of that after the show, them trying to come to grips with each other. I’d also be happy with a fluffy moment set earlier.

Relationship: Michael Burnham & Sarek

I loved seeing what we did of their relationship, and the tensions therein. The reserve he taught Michael, and the closeness brought on by his sharing his Katra, mixed with the way he chose his son for the Vulcan Expeditionary Group and tried to have Michael learn more of her humanity with Philippa. I’d enjoy seeing more of their backstory, what it was like for them to have family like the other.

Thank you again, and I hope this exchange experience will be fun for you!
