Hello, dear Author!
Sorry this was a bit late. I hope this letter is useful to you; if not, please feel free to ignore the prompts. I’d be so happy to receive something for any of these ships. Thank you for offering to do this for me!

Parallels (and contrasts) between characters and their journeys are a thing for me.
I like characters looking out for each other and rescuing each other, giving care and emotional support. Especially when women are the ones receiving care and support, getting their needs made a priority by their loved ones.
Canon divergence and role reversals are loved, though I also enjoy other AUs.

Caveat: Referencing something in that list which happened in canon is all right. I’d just rather not it be a main feature in the story.
I’ve requested some of these things before, and a few of the prompts are copy-pasted; please pay no mind to if some things are wordier than others, as I’d be delighted with anything you choose to write for.
Star Wars – All Media Types
Anakin Skywalker/Asajj Ventress/Ahsoka Tano
I love the potential for tension here, especially given their dynamic in the season five finale episodes. Ahsoka warily depending on Ventress, Anakin being very unhappy as he told Asajj she was the only one Ahsoka had talked to and depending on her nevertheless, Asajj identifying with Ahsoka to Anakin’s shock. It’d be really fun to see this followed through as part of the arc’s impact, with Ahsoka perhaps meeting up with Ventress again and them running into Anakin in Coruscant’s underworld, or as part of a mission he ends up involved in without their knowledge—or maybe he finds out they’re working together and in his determination to meddle, gets more than he bargained for.
Barriss Offee/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
Much as with the above, I love the tensions here, and how when Ahsoka’s faith was shaken with even Anakin not living up to her expectations—in not being the one to break her out—she was still willing to risk talking to Barriss, and it hurt him to admit she wouldn’t talk to him; how Barriss knew Ahsoka would think Anakin had been the one to do it and would trust him only to feel disappointed; how when Anakin brings Barriss in and he’s happy, but Ahsoka is clearly distraught, and how all their hearts are broken by the end. Out of all of them, Barriss was the one to first express her dissatisfaction with the Jedi in a decisive and decidedly dramatic manner. She was also the first to choose to fall to the Dark Side in reaction to that, betraying Ahsoka and changing her world forever, just as Anakin would later do on a larger scale; meanwhile Ahsoka herself reacted to her dissatisfaction by staying with the Light Side. I’d love to see the fallout of the season five finale; perhaps Ahsoka tries to talk to Barriss before she goes and Anakin reacts, or he talks to Barriss himself, or Barriss somehow gets free and they all end up having a fraught reunion. Or as above, Anakin finds out the other two will encounter each other and tries to help, only to have things get more complicated than he expected.
Dooku/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
I enjoy how The Clone Wars parallels the Dooku/Asajj and Anakin/Ahsoka master/apprentice relationships, and how in the end Asajj conveys Ahsoka’s disappointment to Anakin when she puts herself in Ahsoka’s place. What about something set post season five, with the attendant friction, putting these three in the same place? Maybe Dooku could be manipulative and play off the tensions in Anakin and Ahsoka’s relationship, or have some grudging but genuine respect for Ahsoka’s choice to leave and that messes with Anakin—or how about both? What if it was Ahsoka who came to rescue Palpatine with Anakin instead of Obi-Wan (who could’ve stayed on Mandalore to deal with Maul) and stopped Anakin from killing Dooku, so he had to take him in instead? Dramatic shenagigans and tense conversations ensue. Or Dooku managed to get away after this and took Ahsoka for leverage, with Anakin in pursuit, and very tense and dramatic things happened between all of them? Or earlier, when Dooku came in to check up on Miraj, he and Ahsoka had to team up because they didn’t like what Miraj was doing with Anakin, for differing reasons, and shenanigans?
The Daughter | Winged Goddess/Ahsoka Tano/Anakin Skywalker
The Daughter became part of Ahsoka when Anakin put her inside her, and Ahsoka retained this connection, as we see with her link to Morai, and how The Daughter could become a bird. What if saving Ahsoka required more than touching both their foreheads? Or what if, later, The Daughter made herself known and both she and Ahsoka came for Vader? Or they came and healed Vader, whether during the Empire or when he was dying? What if Vader found out what Palpatine was trying to do with the Mortis gods—there’s nothing to suggest he ever did—and interferes, bringing into contact with Ahsoka and The Daughter?
The Daughter | Winged Goddess/Ahsoka Tano/The Son | Fanged God/Anakin Skywalker
I love the Mortis arc for how the gods play with these two, and how they both foreshadow and ensure their future. Ahsoka is influenced by the darkness, but ends in the light. Anakin is pulled by both, but chooses the darkness for the last half of his life until it’s time for his death. The Son never wanted to hurt The Daughter, but he kills her, though part of her survives; Anakin never wanted to hurt Ahsoka and even as Vader did not move to do it at first, but his rage spurred him into trying and she continues to live. Then there’s how each pair is a set of counterparts, dark and light, light and dark; the difference only in how the mortals can both choose, where the gods are bound to their nature as avatars of The Force. I’d love to see more time spent with them all aware and sentient beings together; perhaps when Ahsoka is taken by The Son, The Daughter tries to help Anakin get her back. Or they all leave Mortis together, fighting and loving each other all the way.
The Son | Fanged God/Ahsoka Tano/Anakin Skywalker
I really loved the episode where she’s taken and Son-influenced Ahsoka expresses some of her frustrations with Anakin. I also enjoy the Dracula references, with her transformation beginning with a bite, the dark castle, the way they tried to free her with a phallic object—here a sword rather than a stake. Without the plot device of that sword and The Son wanting it, how would things have developed? Anakin wasn’t going to just leave the planet without her, after all, and The Son did want to use her to lure him over to the Dark Side. Alternately, what if Obi-Wan hadn’t been able to warn Ahsoka and Anakin was able to take The Son from Mortis, with her on the ship?
Kaeden Larte/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka loves them both a lot. I love her missing Anakin and I love how meeting Kaeden is part of her regaining the sense of purpose and belonging she lost when she left him. I’d love some AU where Anakin is on the run too and they welcome him into their relationship, or perhaps Anakin was with Ahsoka when she hid on Raada. Or perhaps not, and Vader goes there knowing he’ll find Ahsoka, and Ahsoka has to juggle the safety of Kaeden and her newfound friends with the need to go see him and figure things out; she’s already the mystery woman who’s friendly but keeps at a certain distance due to her past, and such a situation would only amplify that.
Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
I love these three together; there’s a caring, trusting relationship in each combination of any two characters from this group, and both Ahsoka and Padmé gang up on him, which he doesn’t seem to mind all that much. I’d love fic about them as an established relationship, or with Anakin and Padmé welcoming Ahsoka into the relationship. I see it as a triad, but would also like a V with Anakin or Ahsoka at the center. Maybe they get Ahsoka back after the events of her trial, or she comes back during Revenge of the Sith to add yet more dramatic tension to that time in their lives.
Anakin Skywalker/Kylo Ren | Ben Solo/Ahsoka Tano
Both Ahsoka and Kylo Ren have interesting relationships to Anakin, and they are both his legacy in different ways. Ahsoka is his path not taken, his bright mirror, everything good about him that survives and outlives even his physical presence in the galaxy. Kylo Ren is an attempt at continuing his dark path before turning back to the light, a deliberate choice to refuse what he feels is the light, where Ahsoka had to struggle with her darkness and desire for vengeance before transforming into the figure of light we see at the end of Rebels. Does he know his grandfather had a student? Would he go on a pilgrimage to Malachor and find her there, or find echoes that lead him to her? Perhaps both Ahsoka and Anakin are still around, physically or as Force Ghosts, and they find him, or he finds them? Or maybe he gets sent back in time, observing their relationship and being taken into it—or wanting to be included in it; or he just gets glimpses of them through the Force, perhaps dreaming, wanting to be a part of that.
Rey/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
I love Rey and how she is much like Anakin and Ahsoka both, in different ways. Her desert upbringing, her loneliness, the way she stays for people who have done her wrong. Think of how she won’t leave Jakku until Finn comes back for her on Starkiller Base, and how Ahsoka promises Anakin she will never leave him, and how Ezra comes back to save her from him; think of how they both see something in Anakin and Kylo Ren respectively, and are both betrayed by them. Ahsoka and Rey are the bright to Anakin and Kylo Ren. Given Rey’s propensity to get into vision-triggering situations, what if she had one of Anakin and Ahsoka? What if she wound up in a timeless space like Mortis or The World Between Worlds, and had a chance to interact with them, or go back in time? Or maybe their ghosts come to visit her, perhaps as part of or the end result of a dream-quest.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Related Fandoms
Angel/Cordelia Chase/Buffy Summers
I love Cordelia’s admiration for Buffy’s work even if they don’t always manage to get along, and how she gets pulled into the same type of thing with Angel even when she tries to leave it all behind in Sunnydale. I love the what if in her and Buffy’s relationship—we see them getting on just fine at first, and they exhibit care and empathy for each other when its needed. I love Buffy’s intense relationship with Angel, and Cordelia’s loyalty and snark, and how Angel needs them in different ways, how they represent a tie to humanity. Plus, they all like nice things! Their shared materialistic streak could be fun to play with. Maybe Cordelia can get them both accepting pay for their work, and collaborating, and stuff happens? Or Cordelia comes with Angel to see Buffy at her mom’s funeral. Cordelia gets resurrected and they can all be magical resurrection pals. Buffy needs to join them in L.A. for some reason and they find out some new things about their relationships. Soulless Angel tries to recreate his vampire gang, gets more than he bargained for.
Angel/Darla/Buffy Summers
Mirroring! Endings and beginnings! Angel saw them both as an initiation into a new life. He has regrets when it comes to protecting—or not being able to protect them. What made Darla take so long to try to take him back? I’d love to see her and Buffy be fascinated with each other. Given their dynamic came into being in the episode Darla was killed, how would things have turned out if she had survived? I’d love if there were more chances for the kind of ambivalency in season two’s Angel/Drusilla/Buffy. What if Darla came for rat-eating Angel and he was tempted again, then brought him to Sunnydale in time for the Master’s rise—and Buffy’s arrival? What if Buffy’d ever had a chance to meet human Darla when that was going on? Or maybe newly vampiric again Darla comes to pay Buffy a visit, tries to engineer a redo of what happened the last time the old and the new came into conflict with them. Or maybe soulless Angel is the one interacting with Wolfram & Hart for whatever reason—Willow didn’t finish the spell and he was brought back this way, or he lost it artificially again—turns Darla, and Buffy comes to see what’s going on? Or he successfully killed and turned Buffy in season two, and now they must navigate a relationship with newly resurrected Darla?
Angel/Drusilla/Buffy Summers
As above, I love the mirroring here, the way Drusilla recognizes how Angel wants to do to Buffy what he did to her, and how the resentment that seems to pop up over those same actions when he’s ensouled and captive seems to foreshadow Buffy’s resentment of his soulless behavior. Angel himself displays a kind of ambivalence, trying to warn Drusilla away from Sunnydale at first rather than fighting her, and then not attempting to kill Buffy until his other option is out of the question. Buffy too had a mixed reaction, with knowing what he did to a girl like her once, but still loving him. Drusilla seemed happy about what Angel was doing—did she anticipate Buffy joining their family, and what did she think that might look like? Did Angel expect to be able to handle his obsession with her if he could make her a vampire the way she’d made him feel like a man? Would Buffy surprise them all, as she did as a human? What if he’d succeeded? Or if Drusilla’s goal when she came to Sunnydale in season five had been a little different? Or if she had a vision and came to Los Angeles when Angel got rid of his soul, and they came for Buffy together?
Cordelia Chase/Vampire Willow Rosenberg/Buffy Summers
I would love to see what would happen if these three were in a bind together. Cordelia and her fraught relationships with them in her original universe, and the other two not only not knowing her at all (or in Willow’s case, only as a bully), but being unfriendly to say the least. Or you could do Cordelia and Buffy from the original universe and Vampire Willow having fun with their expectations and their relationships with their Willow; I love Cordelia’s first instinct being to help Vampire Willow pretending to be human Willow, and Buffy willing to stake Vampire Willow but stopping and her Willow’s request. Anything that plays off those tensions would be wonderful.
Faith Lehane/Buffy Summers/Kendra Young
I would love the idea of the three Slayers together. Buffy and Kendra had enough trouble trying to reach a middle ground with each other, Buffy and Faith even more so; what would happen if all three were alive at the same time? Buffy and Kendra would both be more mindful of their duty and responsibility than Faith, but Faith and Kendra share a more straightforward view of just slaying vampires and other demons, and of being alone as Slayers, while Buffy and Faith are more into the enjoying life part of living than Kendra. I’d just love to see all those differing lives bounce off each other on the way to becoming one.
Kennedy/Faith Lehane/Buffy Summers
Another all-Slayer ship! Once again, I’d love to see these different women with the same role bouncing off each other. By the time Buffy meets Kennedy, she’s trying to get colder and harder to be a more efficient leader and protector. Kennedy is a bit like younger Buffy, questioning her authority figures and criticizing them for lack of compassion—the way Buffy responded to Chloe’s suicide and how Kennedy responded to her reminded me of this very strongly. Faith is a bit like younger Buffy too, in decisions like taking the girls for a night out—and how she tries to look out for Buffy through the tensions in their relationship and situation. It’d be interesting to see them work with their grudging respect for each other and the frictions in their relationships post series finale.
Kennedy/Willow Rosenberg/Buffy Summers
I was interested in how these dynamics developed throughout the season: the trust in Buffy and Willow being strained, how they still cared for each other anyway; how Buffy and Kennedy came to be at odds as Buffy got colder, but they seemed to come to a respectful detente by the end; how Kennedy shook Willow up but also helped build her confidence again; the way they all come together by the end to create the new Slayers. There’s trust and support in Buffy and Kennedy’s relationships with Willow, and potential in their relationship with each other. I’d love to see something set after the finale, where they try to work on the future together and fall into a relationship.
Satsu/Faith Lehane/Buffy Summers
The third Slayer ship on this list. I love the potential here; Buffy and Satsu are so sweet but short, Buffy and Faith are bittersweet in an entirely different way, Faith and Satsu both admired Buffy and struggled with how the relationships did not exactly work out the way they’d wanted. Buffy trusts Satsu and goes back and forth on whether or not to trust Faith, but she cares about them both. What kind of feelings might Faith have upon learning of this relationship? How would Satsu feel about the history there? Would Buffy have any thoughts of her previous relationships with Slayers? What if after Buffy and Satsu are broken up, Faith meets up with one or both of them and this catalyzes them all into getting together?
Satsu/Willow Rosenberg/Buffy Summers
I really loved Buffy and Satsu’s relationship in the comics (which I stopped following after season nine), and I enjoyed Willow’s curiosity about what Buffy was like in bed with a woman. I love Buffy and Willow’s complicated but always strong relationship. There are also some interesting parallels that could be made with Satsu waking Buffy up from the deathlike sleep of a Sleeping Beauty curse, and Willow (and friends, but Willow primarily) being the one to resurrect Buffy from her second death; not to mention the way Buffy and Willow brought the new Slayers into being. What does Willow think of Buffy trying to find some happiness with Satsu, once she gets over the surprise? Does this allow them both to see each other differently? How would Buffy and Satsu react to Willow wanting in on their relationship? Or maybe they can just be badasses in an already established relationship.
Tara Maclay/Willow Rosenberg/Buffy Summers
It’s interesting how in the later seasons, some of the things in Buffy’s relationship with Willow also came to exist in her relationship with Tara, as she grew more strained and less open about her troubles. Tara seemed to be intuitive and empathic about her emotional needs, and Buffy responded to it, eventually confiding in a way she no longer does with Willow. It’s also interesting that Willow’s descent into magical darkness is tied into her relationships with Buffy and Tara; she wants to help them, avenge them, save them, keep them happy at her side, even when it’s against their will. She’s hugely invested in their roles in her life. Tara shares this too, this coming into herself more as a result of being with them, a part of their world, without the descent into depression or darkness. I’d love to see something set in season six (or after in an AU where Tara lives) where they figure out how to be together, or perhaps something fluffy in the earlier seasons.

Am I smooshing favorite characters from different canons here? Yes. Both Anakin and Ahsoka remind me of Buffy and vice versa: the compassion, emotionality, and snark with all three; the destiny and constant striving for a personal life with Anakin and Buffy; the determination to do what's right and question authority with Ahsoka and Buffy. With Angel, I think he would remind Ahsoka of Anakin and she would make him think of Buffy, on top of which they are both people who choose to do good despite realizing they are stuck in a dystopia they helped build—Ahsoka--and realizing they don’t have to win in the big picture to make the fight worth it—Angel--because they find purpose in fighting for a worthy cause, in continuously working, in doing things that are good every day. They’re also all supremely skilled fighters who like getting a good workout. And they’ve all experienced mystical dreams in one form or another: even Angel, who’s not psychic in any way, shared nightmares and sex dreams with Buffy.
To add to the comparisons, Buffy’s love Angel does turn out to be a Chosen One too, with a destiny that could have been be either the hero or the villain—you could work with how Ahsoka became the embodiment of light while he, both then and later, followed the darkness. Or you could meld it with Ahsoka’s capture on Mortis: Anakin’s the Chosen One and she’s been influenced by evil, but Ahsoka’s Ahsoka.
As for how to make it happen; I'm mostly interested in the mechanics as a way to throw the characters together, but if you want to weave the mechanics in as a part of that, I'd love that too!
Buffyverse canon includes alternate universes and dimensions, along with portals and spells designed to bring/send things from one place to the other. Star Wars has its own weird mystical worlds going on. Work with that as you will.
Another thing is, what if Buffy's resurrection that sends her over to a random universe not her own? Whether something went wrong or the powers of her universe made sure her return couldn't unbalance things--it did give the First Evil a loophole to takeover in the series. Or Ahsoka walks into this world at some point after trying to leave the World Between Worlds? You could connect the Sith Temple on Malachor to the Hellmouth. Maybe Anakin as Vader winds up trapped there when it explodes and he comes out into another world. What if when leaving Mortis, they wind up one the Hellmouth instead of where they came from? Or Wolfram & Hart want to bring over Anakin the half-Force born, or Ahsoka, with her mystical connections to the avatars of both sides of the Force (The Son and The Daughter) and to spaces not bound by the ordinary rules of nature like Mortis and the World Between Worlds. Maybe they just send Angel away and he’s trapped on Mortis or some other place strong in the Force, where he is found by Anakin and/or Ahsoka.
There's also the possibility of setting Star Wars as legitimately "long long ago." Maybe have them be ghosts --Buffy does on occasion get visions and dreams from ghosts. A Star Wars character could be frozen in carbonite/mystical sleep, found in some old temple. Or do it the other way around: the Buffyverse happens first and then, whether as a ghost or a serious case of Sleeping Beauty, Buffy makes it to the Star Wars time and galaxy in an old temple. Maybe someone’s just immortal! Buffy gets affected by her resurrection/the Slayer spell, Ahsoka gets affected by her resurrection, Angel just plain outlasts the Earth, Anakin is capable of coming back physically once he’s been a Force Ghost long enough. Or, what if they occur at the same time and in the same universe/dimension: AU Earth into the Star Wars universe, or have it be discovered during the Clone Wars.
Star Wars as an artifact of pop culture exists in the Buffyverse. I'm fine if you want to handwave that away or if you want it to remain so, however you handle it. maybe Once Upon a Time it, with there being different Realms of Story, from which Buffy characters and Star Wars characters are pulled to live in the real world. Or Jumanji it, where characters from either canon are stuck in the other and have to deal with all the rules until they get out.
Missy (Doctor Who)/Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)
Ahsoka Tano and Missy switch bodies, with the end result being that Missy becomes Empress of the galaxy with Anakin as her Enforcer, until either the Doctor and Ahsoka manage to set things right or Missy gets bored and leaves. Either way, Ahsoka comes back to a mess and her relationship with Anakin is now more complicated. Idea taken with permission from selenak on LJ here.
I’d also love some other way for Missy to come and mess things up for them; she managed to trap souls after death to turn them into Cybermen after all, and you know Anakin’s thing about death. Maybe he’s trying to repeat what he did with Ahsoka, or even bring her back from the dead when he thinks he as Vader has killed her. Or maybe Ahsoka runs into the wrong portal—and Missy—when she’s navigating the World Between Worlds, given how it can take you anywhere you’re thinking of, and they get into a mess with Anakin. I didn’t request the Doctor, but you’re welcome to bring them in if you like.
Romeo x Juliet (Anime)
I love Juliet's path from vigilante to resistance leader, and in particular how she incorporated the first into the latter—with more success than when she tried so hard to just be the Capulet avenger her stewards and Tybalt all thought she should be at first. Below, I’m requesting three relationships with four characters, but if you should want to take them all and make a foursome, that would be more than fine as well.
Juliet Fiammatta Arst De Capulet/Tybalt Volumnia De Capulet/Romeo Candore de Montague
I was left really intrigued by her dynamic with Tybalt. There was a friction that melted into a kind of respect and understanding, I think, and I'd love to see that explored here, with his attempts to actually interact with Romeo because of her, and the way he ends up giving Romeo his wish of taking those children for a ride; I’d love to see a relationship in which they all grow to respect and trust each other. I see it as a V with Juliet uniting them, but I’d enjoy seeing them as a triad also.
Juliet Fiammatta Arst De Capulet/Leontes van de Montague/Tybalt Volumnia De Capulet
As said above, I was really intrigued by how Juliet and Tybalt are different but care for each other. I enjoyed how though Tybalt attempted vengeance upon his father despite Juliet’s wishes, he ceded to her in the end. I was also interested by how though Leontes hates the Capulets and Juliet as their heir in particular, she expresses gentleness towards him as he dies and he seems to respond to that even though he hates it and her. It’d be interesting to see how these dynamics would develop if they all lived. Or maybe an AU where Leontes tries to subdue Juliet via marriage, and Tybalt steps into the mess, making it even messier.
Juliet Fiammatta Arst De Capulet/Leontes van de Montague/Romeo Candore de Montague
I enjoy how sweet the relationship between Romeo and Juliet is, and the struggle each of them have with his father. They’re both sorry he had to die, if for different ways. Leontes had for his part a fraught dynamic with them both; attempting to preserve his relationship with his son while being a monster, and responding to Juliet’s gentleness as he lay dying even though he hated it and her. What would they have done with each other if they all lived? Or if as suggested above, Leontes tried to subdue Juliet’s threat to him by marrying her and Romeo had to deal with that?
Again, thank you so much, and I hope your exchange experience is great!
