Note: This is extremely late, as I wanted to post it finished and kept postponing; in case it's of any interest, I'm posting it as is. Deepest apologies to anyone who would've liked to see it up sooner.
Dear Author,
I’m so glad we matched! This is my first year doing the exchange, after seeing it last year and being unable to participate—I’m delighted to be able to this time! Thank you for choosing to offer one of my ships! I appreciate the work you’re investing. Just going to let you know right off: this letter is for your use, and you can decide how much to use, if my prompts inspire you or give you an idea of how I think about these characters. You don’t have to actually use any of them. I will be excited whether you choose one or come up with something entirely your own!

Parallels (and contrasts) between characters and their journeys are a thing for me.
I like characters looking out for each other and rescuing each other, giving care and emotional support. Especially when women are the ones receiving care and support, getting their needs made a priority by their loved ones.
Canon divergence and role reversals are loved, though I also enjoy other AUs.
Here are some more things I enjoy: fusions, vignettes, character studies, plotty stuff, angst, fluff, smut, adventure, characters talking to each other, character focus in smut, enemies to lovers, friends/lovers to enemies to lovers/friends, pining, worldbuilding, quiet character moments, bittersweet endings, happy endings, open/ambiguous endings, quiet and subtle romance, the total opposite of quiet and subtle romance—these fandoms do have a high drama quotient, psychological horror, cunnilingus, messy and complicated dynamics, blurring between obligation/need and love, fear/horror/anger mixed with desire/love, politics, isolation, competitiveness, competitive smut, limited agency, legacy, manipulation, scheming, ulterior motives for sex, Force bonds, Force shenanigans, Force Ghosts, time travel, weird worlds/dimensions, time moves differently, scars, suspense, undercover, undercover as a couple, mission fic, teaching games, compromised sense of self, interpersonal tension, duty versus desire, love/hate, possessiveness, insecurity, secret relationships, secrets, the divine as sex, using the Force for sex, choking, breathplay, bloodplay, biting, scratching, Ahsoka’s fangs, growling, blindfolding, chains, trust issues, implicit trust, emotional intimacy, casual displays of affection, shared beds, snuggling, sitting/lying in laps, jumping people, stories where the woman/women are a significant part of the man/men’s characterization, stories where the woman/women are a significant part of each other’s characterization, characters gathering each other’s backstory a little at a time, investigating each other, spying, sex and violence paired together, fucking in the same room as your enemies’ corpse, body heat sharing, loneliness, connecting to the force together mutual pining, dreams, fix-it, parallel universes, parallel universe characters, us against the world, outside pov, story/fragments of story as told in-universe
DNWs:
permanently dead female characters (where she’s not even a ghost), the concept of Anakin and Ahsoka as a father/daugher relationship, mpreg, detailed gore, detailed description of bodily fluids and excretions, watersports, scat, emetophilia, noncon (except if requested/prompted)—dubcon is fine, rape (except where specified below), a/b/o, rule 63’ing female characters, body horror, explicit torture, permanently damaging torture, maiming, mutilating, bashing of characters or ships, unrequited love (except if it's only unrequited in a characters' head), unrequested ships (though mentions are okay), stories where nobody really cares about the woman/women in the ship, focus only on m/m interactions, a story where the f/f or m/f is secondary to the m/m, AUs which don't use canon settings, underage (17+ is fine, whether you change canon ages or set things when the characters would be 17+), ageplay/infantilization, humiliation (except if requested/prompted), bestiality, Jedi Order as evil/immoral (versus deeply flawed institution, which is is good), oviposition, monster sex, tentacle sex
Caveat: Referencing something in that list which happened in canon is all right. I’d just rather not it be a main feature in the story.

Ahsoka Tano/Amalthea (The Last Unicorn - Any Adaptation)
This came about because Amalthea being a Unicorn forced into a mortal body and Ahsoka having the avatar of the Light Side put into her them a potentially interesting pair. That and how they both experience being the last of their kind, what it’s like to have to change in the face of that, the refusal to let it be true in their search for others. They also both exist somewhere in-between two categories of being: the Unicorn after Amalthea knows love and regret, Ahsoka throughout her life knows and accepts her attachments even as she lets them go.
They’re both beautiful, wise, mystical beings touched by ordinary life and yet living apart from it. I’d love anything that works with that.
Maybe the Unicorn’s forest is a whole planet, or some sacred untouched place far from the center of the galaxy. Maybe Ahsoka is pulled in during her travels, or instead of going back to Malachor from the World Between Worlds? Or you could AU Ahsoka into the setting, have her be a wandering knight and mystic the Unicorn or Amalthea meets on her travels. What if, when Ahsoka died on Mortis, she spent the moments she was dead somewhere else, with time working differently there?
Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress
They start out in one place and end up in quite another, betrayed and eventually losing all their kind to the war and the Sith. They both turn to the underworld to cope: Ahsoka goes a little more criminal as a smuggler, even if she still does good deeds, and Asajj is willing to show mercy instead of just ruthlessly going after the money as a bounty hunter. I love how Asajj sees herself in Ahsoka, despite their former status as enemies, and Ahsoka being willing to plead her case. Their partnership is one of convenience, but they’re open to the idea that there’s more going on with the other than they thought. What if for some reason Ahsoka did stay with the Jedi, at least long enough to try to help Asajj out with them, or one of them sought the other out after she left? Maybe they run into each other on separate missions, or team up for one, and it leads to more reevaluation of where they stand? I could see Asajj occasionally helping Ahsoka out when it comes to protecting children from the Sith.
Ahsoka Tano/Darth Vader
I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. It seems to me that trying to kill Ahsoka was not in Vader’s plan—he’d wanted her alive before, and he had opportunities he didn’t take—so what would he do if he ever did find out she survived him? Especially if she never came out to try and find him. Does he try to keep her a secret? Keep on going in the face of her not coming back? Or maybe he tries to reach her after he’s gone back to the Light Side; what do they say, and how do they begin to move on? Does she know it, with the mystical transformation she seems to have undergone by then? Or what if he actually survived—they thought their time to live was over, and now they have to deal with living in a galaxy they never expected, together. Is he exiled or hidden in some distant world, or even in the Unknown Regions, and does she go with him or does she find him? Or a fairytale AU! Some fairytales I can think of that might be relevant to this pairing are “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.”
Ahsoka Tano/Diana Prince (DCEU)
Two very kickass women who start unaware of their destiny and the reality of the world around them, and learn to deal with the pain it brings; tempted into vengeance and rage, they choose a path that aligns with their values and remain themselves. There’s also the suggestion that Diana has hidden herself after WWI because of the attending trauma, which could go well with both Ahsoka having to hide after the genocide of her kind at the end of her own war, and with Ahsoka needing to go even deeper underground after the events of Malachor. Maybe Themyscira is a secret planet instead of an island, and Ahsoka goes there in her wanderings. They could become friends during the Clone Wars as they face the horrors of war in their youth, or maybe a weary Ahsoka finds Diana during the height of the Galactic Empire. Maybe both!
Ahsoka Tano/Mace Windu
Ahsoka Tano/Tauriel (The Hobbit)
They’re both outspoken women who leave their people to do what is right, because they have a perspective that can’t be satisfied with the truths they’ve been taught. They always want more; Tauriel looks to the stars and Ahsoka walks among them, wandering far from the place she’d thought was home. They know grief and loss from a pointless war.
What if Ahsoka is AU’d into the setting, and they leave Mirkwood together? Or Middle-Earth is some lost/recently discovered planet with strange Force shenanigans, and Ahsoka is pulled in during her travels, or instead of going back to Malachor from the World Between Worlds? Or all Middle-Earth is the galaxy, with Mirkwood being a strange planet, not at all what it used to be, and she comes to investigate. What if, when Ahsoka died on Mortis, she spent the moments she was dead somewhere else, with time working differently there?
Padmé Amidala/Ahsoka Tano/Tauriel (The Hobbit)
Take the above and add Padmé to the mix. She’s also outspoken, and willing to do things outside what she’s supposed to when she sees the state is failing around her. Maybe she goes to Middle-Earth as a diplomat, with Ahsoka for protection, and they see not all is right, coming to trust Tauriel and she them as they try to muddle through it.
Ahsoka Tano/Thor (MCU)
I love these brash, confident do-gooders; they both want to do right by others and they’ll do what it takes, even as life and war take their toll. They lose everything they valued, everything they thought they could keep, down to the life they’d expected and came to no longer want.
Ahsoka Tano/Val
Ahsoka Tano/Valkyrie (MCU)
I love the idea of two women traumatized after a great ordeal—the loss of all their kind, the disillusion in the institutions they were part of and had dedicated themselves to fighting for—coming together. Especially because these two have such different outlooks after it all. Ahsoka is lost to her depression and to the need for survival, but after a year she finds purpose again in fighting for the people who need her. It takes much longer for Valkyrie to come to this, and when she does it’s the idea of vengeance that gets her going. When Ahsoka was lost, she became a smuggler but still tried to do small things for people. When Valkyrie was lost, she captured other lost people and sold them to a life of slavery in combat. What if Ahsoka comes upon Sakaar during her travels (instead of Raada or before, or after)? What if she had to survive there; would she go underground among the people, or get captured by Valkyrie and fight her way up the ranks? I could see her being discovered and having to work her way out of it, or Valkyrie visiting and them bonding once she became the reigning champion.
Ahsoka Tano/Yvaine (Stardust - Any Adaptation)
Yvaine watches the world, and is not part of it; Ahsoka is part of it, but meant more to help here and there as a Jedi than to take a role in galactic affairs. They both love adventure and action, even if Yvaine has never known it before falling from the sky. They’re both wanderers, and mystical beings of a sort: Yvaine the star, Ahsoka what’s left of the Daughter, the embodiment of light. If you go with the book version of Stardust, they can never be among their kind again, and they continue after the people they love most are gone; there’s a breath of loneliness to them.
What if Stormhold is a planet, and Ahsoka comes to consult—and to grieve—with its ruler? Or maybe she just comes to investigate some strangeness associated with it. Or Ahsoka is an immortal being, coming to join the land of Faerie after the long ago events of her life, and meets Yvaine on an adventure there? Maybe Ahsoka is pulled in during her travels, or instead of going back to Malachor from the World Between Worlds? What if, when Ahsoka died on Mortis, she spent the moments she was dead somewhere else, with time working differently there?
Alexsandr Kallus/Ahsoka Tano
Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. I’d love something sweet during any time period; what about one of the times he’s sharing his mechanical knowledge—which he got from his mother—with her? I like to think it’s his way of meditation, and that it’s how he trains her with regard to that aspect of Jedi life. Or what about after a battle, when they both need to talk or just be together? I really liked the point in her novel where she’s thinking about how he used to take care of her after battles, help her deal with the mental toll of the war. How about an AU where one or both of them was never found by the Jedi: Anakin remains a slave, Ahsoka was successfully captured as a toddler and sold by the bounty hunter (I love that bit of her backstory for the what-if of how she nearly had another thing in common with Anakin), so they run into each other under those circumstances; only one of them goes through what’s described above, until they’re found by the Sith, while the other remains a Jedi. I’d also love a Regency AU (set in space or somewhere more historical) akin to Sorcerer of the Crown by Zen Cho, with Anakin in this unstable position in society due to his origins and Ahsoka, also with a less than respectable background, swooping into his life with all her confidence and talent. Or a fairytale AU! Some fairytales I can think of that might be relevant to this pairing are “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.”
Anakin Skywalker/Asajj Ventress/Ahsoka Tano
I love the potential for tension here, especially given their dynamic in the season five finale episodes. Ahsoka warily depending on Ventress, Anakin being very unhappy as he told Asajj she was the only one Ahsoka had talked to and depending on her nevertheless, Asajj identifying with Ahsoka to Anakin’s shock. It’d be really fun to see this followed through as part of the arc’s impact, with Ahsoka perhaps meeting up with Ventress again and them running into Anakin in Coruscant’s underworld, or as part of a mission he ends up involved in without their knowledge—or maybe he finds out they’re working together and in his determination to meddle, gets more than he bargained for.
Angel/Ahsoka Tano
Angel/Buffy Summers/Ahsoka Tano
Angel/Buffy Summers/Anakin Skywalker
Buffy Summers/Ahsoka Tano
Buffy Summers/Anakin Skywalker
Buffy Summers/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
Am I smooshing favorite characters from different canons here? Yes. Both Anakin and Ahsoka remind me of Buffy and vice versa: the compassion, emotionality, and snark with all three; the destiny and constant striving for a personal life with Anakin and Buffy; the determination to do what's right and question authority with Ahsoka and Buffy. With Angel, I think he would remind Ahsoka of Anakin and she would make him think of Buffy, on top of which they are both people who choose to do good despite realizing they are stuck in a dystopia they helped build—Ahsoka--and realizing they don’t have to win in the big picture to make the fight worth it—Angel--because they find purpose in fighting for a worthy cause, in continuously working, in doing things that are good every day. They’re also all supremely skilled fighters who like getting a good workout. And they’ve all experienced mystical dreams in one form or another: even Angel, who’s not psychic in any way, shared nightmares and sex dreams with Buffy.
To add to the comparisons, Buffy’s love Angel does turn out to be a Chosen One too, with a destiny that could have been be either the hero or the villain—you could work with how Ahsoka became the embodiment of light while he, both then and later, followed the darkness. Or you could meld it with Ahsoka’s capture on Mortis: Anakin’s the Chosen One and she’s been influenced by evil, but Ahsoka’s Ahsoka.
As for how to make it happen; I'm mostly interested in the mechanics as a way to throw the characters together, but if you want to weave the mechanics in as a part of that, I'd love that too!
Buffyverse canon includes alternate universes and dimensions, along with portals and spells designed to bring/send things from one place to the other. Star Wars has its own weird mystical worlds going on. Work with that as you will.
Another thing is, what if Buffy's resurrection sends her over to a random universe not her own? Whether something went wrong or the powers of her universe made sure her return couldn't unbalance things—it did give the First Evil a loophole to takeover in the series. Or those powers decided Angel ought to be sent there after being taken from Acathla’s hell? Or Ahsoka walks into this world at some point after trying to leave the World Between Worlds? You could connect the Sith Temple on Malachor to the Hellmouth. Maybe Anakin as Vader winds up trapped there when it explodes and he comes out into another world. What if when leaving Mortis, they wind up one the Hellmouth instead of where they came from? Or Wolfram & Hart want to bring over Anakin the half-Force born, or Ahsoka, with her mystical connections to the avatars of both sides of the Force (The Son and The Daughter) and to spaces not bound by the ordinary rules of nature like Mortis and the World Between Worlds. Maybe they just send Angel away and he’s trapped on Mortis or some other place strong in the Force, where he is found by Anakin and/or Ahsoka.
There's also the possibility of setting Star Wars as legitimately "long long ago." Maybe have them be ghosts—Buffy does on occasion get visions and dreams from ghosts. A Star Wars character could be frozen in carbonite/mystical sleep, found in some old temple. Or do it the other way around: the Buffyverse happens first and then, whether as a ghost or a serious case of Sleeping Beauty, Buffy makes it to the Star Wars time and galaxy in an old temple. Maybe someone’s just immortal! Buffy gets affected by her resurrection/the Slayer spell, Ahsoka gets affected by her resurrection, Angel just plain outlasts the Earth, Anakin is capable of coming back physically once he’s been a Force Ghost long enough. Or, what if they occur at the same time and in the same universe/dimension: AU Earth into the Star Wars universe, or have it be discovered during the Clone Wars.
Star Wars as an artifact of pop culture exists in the Buffyverse. I'm fine if you want to handwave that away or if you want it to remain so, however you handle it. maybe Once Upon a Time it, with there being different Realms of Story, from which Buffy characters and Star Wars characters are pulled to live in the real world. Or Jumanji it, where characters from either canon are stuck in the other and have to deal with all the rules until they get out.
Barriss Offee/Ahsoka Tano
Barriss Offee/Ahsoka Tano/Anakin Skywalker
Much as with the above, I love the tensions here, and how when Ahsoka’s faith was shaken with even Anakin not living up to her expectations—in not being the one to break her out—she was still willing to risk talking to Barriss, and it hurt him to admit she wouldn’t talk to him; how Barriss knew Ahsoka would think Anakin had been the one to do it and would trust him only to feel disappointed; how when Anakin brings Barriss in and he’s happy, but Ahsoka is clearly distraught, and how all their hearts are broken by the end. Out of all of them, Barriss was the one to first express her dissatisfaction with the Jedi in a decisive and decidedly dramatic manner. She was also the first to choose to fall to the Dark Side in reaction to that, betraying Ahsoka and changing her world forever, just as Anakin would later do on a larger scale; meanwhile Ahsoka herself reacted to her dissatisfaction by staying with the Light Side. I’d love to see the fallout of the season five finale; perhaps Ahsoka tries to talk to Barriss before she goes and Anakin reacts, or he talks to Barriss himself, or Barriss somehow gets free and they all end up having a fraught reunion. Or as above, Anakin finds out the other two will encounter each other and tries to help, only to have things get more complicated than he expected.
Ben Solo | Kylo Ren/Ahsoka Tano
One of the most intriguing get-togethers that hasn’t happened. In their own ways, they each represent Anakin’s legacy, and they have their own relationships to that and to him. Ahsoka is his path not taken, having faced her own capacity for darkness when she wanted vengeance and chose against it, and Kylo Ren believes he is continuing his work by choosing against his capacity for goodness; as they both turn away and leave him behind, they continue on their paths, one to remove herself from the galaxy at large until she is needed and the other to dominated it in an attempt to fulfill his own needs. Does he know his grandfather had a student? Would he go on a pilgrimage to Malachor and find her there, or find echoes that lead him to her? Perhaps Ahsoka is still around, physically or as Force Ghost, and she finds him, or he finds her? Or maybe he gets sent back in time, observing their relationship and developing an interest in her; or he just gets glimpses of her through the Force, perhaps dreaming. Maybe she trains him instead of or in addition to Luke, or a repentant Ben finds her when he’s trying to put what’s left of his destruction into a new life.
Cassian Andor/Ahsoka Tano
CT-7567 | Rex/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
Death of the Endless (The Sandman)/Ahsoka Tano
Dooku/Ahsoka Tano
What if Ahsoka went into the past from Rebels and, trying to avoid meeting herself and anyone she was close to directly, fell into working with her old enemies by accident? Maybe she ends up working with Dooku instead; older Ahsoka gives him a shock, being wiser and more powerful, and he ends up reconsidering his allegiance to his master? Of course, eventually her Force presence and the shenanigans do bring her to the attention of her former self and her old master…Alternately, Dooku ends up going forward—perhaps in the World Between Worlds, Ahsoka looks on a scene with him and they can feel her gaze, so they investigate and she winds up pulling him through. They then find themselves adrift in a new galaxy, working with the last Jedi against the Empire they were all used to build, and more directly against an enemy Ahsoka once knew. I also like the idea of them being stuck in loops, but the Force-sensitives being able to feel impressions of all the previous loops, which affects their dynamics and feelings for each other throughout time.
Dooku/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
I enjoy how The Clone Wars parallels the Dooku/Asajj and Anakin/Ahsoka master/apprentice relationships, and how in the end Asajj conveys Ahsoka’s disappointment to Anakin when she puts herself in Ahsoka’s place. What about something set post season five, with the attendant friction, putting these three in the same place? Maybe Dooku could be manipulative and play off the tensions in Anakin and Ahsoka’s relationship, or have some grudging but genuine respect for Ahsoka’s choice to leave and that messes with Anakin—or how about both? What if it was Ahsoka who came to rescue Palpatine with Anakin instead of Obi-Wan (who could’ve stayed on Mandalore to deal with Maul) and stopped Anakin from killing Dooku, so he had to take him in instead? Dramatic shenagigans and tense conversations ensue. Or Dooku managed to get away after this and took Ahsoka for leverage, with Anakin in pursuit, and very tense and dramatic things happened between all of them? Or earlier, when Dooku came in to check up on Miraj, he and Ahsoka had to team up because they didn’t like what Miraj was doing with Anakin, for differing reasons, and shenanigans?
Dream of the Endless | Morpheus (The Sandman)/Ahsoka Tano
Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano
These two know how to dedicate themselves to a cause. They throw themselves into it, while clinging to what relationships they can. It seems they’ve been meeting for a long time before Ahsoka is revealed to the rest of the crew; how did that relationship develop? Who found who first? Did they engage in a secret adventure where neither knew the other’s face at first? Maybe Ahsoka is Hera’s resident not-Jedi—or as close as she can be to that while still doing her job as spymaster. Or just her first not-Jedi. I like Kanan; it’s fine if you want to keep him around, and/or put all three of them together. I’m also good if it’s set after his death and Ahsoka settles down with Hera, or they keep having space adventures, or go after Ezra with Sabine. I didn’t request Sabine, but she’s awesome and I wouldn’t mind if you added her to this and made a poly ship.
Jupiter Jones (Jupiter Ascending)/Ahsoka Tano
Jyn Erso/Ahsoka Tano
They know what it’s like to have to put survival first, before finding purpose again with the Rebellion. It’s something they might recognize in each other. What if the place Saw takes Jyn’s family to is Ahsoka, and she hides them? Or Jyn meets Ahsoka while Ahsoka is dealing with the Partisan cell of the Rebellion, and leaves with her instead of being alone? Maybe Ahsoka joins Jyn when she’s taken to get to Saw, in hopes of increasing the chances that he’ll see them, and that’s how they meet? Or it’s Ahsoka who picks Jyn up from the Imperial prison. What if Ahsoka was part of the Partisans, and they had a bittersweet relationship? Maybe Jyn is Force-sensitive and Ahsoka teaches her how to make a lightsaber out of that kyber crystal.
Kaeden Larte/Ahsoka Tano
These two are wonderful! I love Kaeden being so welcoming and instantly attracted to Ahsoka, with Ahsoka reciprocating the attention without really being aware of it and being this mystery woman with a past. I love Ahsoka coming back and finding her purpose again, after all her grief, through letting herself get attached, find connections to being alive through caring for these people. Kaeden joins a medical ship for the Rebellion—what if they meet again because Ahsoka needs treatment and winds up there? Or maybe she needs to get some intelligence out to them, and there’s no one else to deliver it, or she chooses to come in person because Kaeden is there? What if they’re both trying to find a new role after the war is over, and they decide to try it together?
Kalifa/Ahsoka Tano
They got so little time together, but it was so sweet. Kalifa felt hopeless, but Ahsoka helped her find herself again, to be able to imagine and try for more than survival. What if it had worked? I’d love to see Ahsoka reuniting with her while Kalifa is recovering from her long captivity, or them recovering together. Or maybe they’re both in battle together. Or they both survive Order 66, Kalifa finds Ahsoka when she’s running and hiding and pretending not to be who she is—just as Kalifa once did—and now it’s her turn to do the comforting and inspiring.
Kalique Abrasax (Jupiter Ascending)/Ahsoka Tano
Kanan Jarrus/Ahsoka Tano
We don’t get to see much of them together, but I love the dynamic of this former Jedi who still behaves like one and this reluctant Jedi who’s coming back to it again—I’d love to see them coming back to themselves together. I loved the little moments of care, when Kanan would catch her as she fainted or want to go back for her as she protected them from the Inquisitors; how while they were both willing to let the other die in order to protect Ezra, regretting the loss of her drove his will into surviving long enough to go back in time to save her. I feel there’s a mutual respect there, and perhaps a bit of awe on Kanan’s part. I’d love a scene of them reminiscing about something, or doing a Jedi thing they used to do with their masters together. Or what if they’d run into each other soon after Order 66, when they were both lost and trying so hard not to be themselves, losing their old identities?
Michael Burnham (Star Trek)/Ahsoka Tano
Mirror Philippa Georgiou (Star Trek)/Ahsoka Tano
Missy (Doctor Who)/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka Tano and Missy switch bodies, with the end result being that Missy becomes Empress of the galaxy with Anakin as her Enforcer, until either the Doctor and Ahsoka manage to set things right or Missy gets bored and leaves. Either way, Ahsoka comes back to a mess and her relationship with Anakin is now more complicated. Idea taken with permission from selenak on LJ here.
I’d also love some other way for Missy to come and mess things up for them; she managed to trap souls after death to turn them into Cybermen after all, and you know Anakin’s thing about death. Maybe he’s trying to repeat what he did with Ahsoka, or even bring her back from the dead when he thinks he as Vader has killed her. Or maybe Ahsoka runs into the wrong portal—and Missy—when she’s navigating the World Between Worlds, given how it can take you anywhere you’re thinking of, and they get into a mess with Anakin. I didn’t request the Doctor, but you’re welcome to bring them in if you like.
Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano
I love these three together. They’re so alike, restricted by the lives their responsibilities demand but with a fire inside, and so open to love. They seem very close even in the early seasons; when Padmé needs a Jedi around, it’s not always Anakin because sometimes it’s Ahsoka; when Ahsoka needs a teacher, sometimes it’s Padmé; when Anakin needs someone to watch his back and be sensitive to his emotional state, sometimes it’s one and sometimes it’s the other; they each have their own relationship with both of the others. I see them as an equal triangle, or a V-relationship with Anakin at the center. I’d love to see a moment where Anakin and Padmé welcome Ahsoka into their relationship, or perhaps something after they’re all established together. It was wonderful to see the other two were working in sync to save Ahsoka when she was framed; what if they both try to get her back to them later, even if not to the Jedi? Padmé could try to persuade her, and they could go down a process of accepting and figuring out a new life in which Ahsoka is not Anakin’s Padawan but they’re all still together, perhaps closer than ever. Or maybe it’s Obi-Wan who stays on Mandalore to handle Maul, Ahsoka goes with Anakin, and they all pull together during Revenge of the Sith. Or Padmé lives, and she and Ahsoka have a bittersweet reunion with Anakin as Vader, or post-Vader.
Philippa Georgiou (Star Trek)/Ahsoka Tano
Poe Dameron/Ahsoka Tano
Qi'ra/Ahsoka Tano
Both of these women are forced to make difficult choices: Ahsoka despairs but finds hope and purpose again, while Q’ira believes her life is the only one there can be for her. I’d love to see them clash; maybe Ahsoka gives Q’ira hope, whether or not she chooses to treat it as real or as a fairytale. Or Ahsoka accepts Q’ira’s choices but still tries to reach out and support her when they cross paths during their adventures, even if they’re on opposite sides. Q’ira thinks the only way to come out on top is to advance in her organization. To that end, when she hears of a Force user fighting for the Rebellion/doing good deeds, she investigates and tries to pit her against Maul. Alternately, Ahsoka picks her up/has the Rebellion pick her up when she’s younger, and they meet again later, with Q’ira being a Rebel contact buried in the criminal world. Or maybe she winds up back with them for real, making her next meeting with Ahsoka fraught.
Rey (Star Wars)/Ahsoka Tano
The concept of these two meeting is great! Ahsoka is touched by the light side, both in her choice to live in it and in how its very essence gave her back her life. Rey awoke to her power as the dark side rose. They both try to reach a dark-side user they see more in, and succeed, only to be betrayed by him, and they both face the hard choice of letting him go and coming in to their potential themselves, without any help. Ahsoka and Rey are the bright to Anakin and Kylo Ren. What if Ahsoka walked through another portal, when she knew it was time? Given Rey’s propensity to get into vision-triggering situations, what if she had one of Ahsoka? What if she wound up in a timeless space like Mortis or The World Between Worlds, and had a chance to interact with them, or go back in time? Or maybe her ghost come to visit her, perhaps as part of or the end result of a dream-quest.
The Daughter | Winged Goddess/Ahsoka Tano
The Daughter | Winged Goddess/Ahsoka Tano/Anakin Skywalker
The Daughter became part of Ahsoka when Anakin put her inside her, and Ahsoka retained this connection, as we see with her link to Morai, and how The Daughter could become a bird. What if saving Ahsoka required more than touching both their foreheads? Or what if, later, The Daughter made herself known and both she and Ahsoka came for Vader? Or they came and healed Vader, whether during the Empire or when he was dying? What if Vader found out what Palpatine was trying to do with the Mortis gods—there’s nothing to suggest he ever did—and interferes, bringing into contact with Ahsoka and The Daughter?
The Daughter | Winged Goddess/Ahsoka Tano/The Son | Fanged God
The Daughter | Winged Goddess/Ahsoka Tano/The Son | Fanged God/Anakin Skywalker
I love the Mortis arc for how the gods play with these two, and how they both foreshadow and ensure their future. Ahsoka is influenced by the darkness, but ends in the light. Anakin is pulled by both, but chooses the darkness for the last half of his life until it’s time for his death. The Son never wanted to hurt The Daughter, but he kills her, though part of her survives; Anakin never wanted to hurt Ahsoka and even as Vader did not move to do it at first, but his rage spurred him into trying and she continues to live. Then there’s how each pair is a set of counterparts, dark and light, light and dark; the difference only in how the mortals can both choose, where the gods are bound to their nature as avatars of The Force. I’d love to see more time spent with them all aware and sentient beings together; perhaps when Ahsoka is taken by The Son, The Daughter tries to help Anakin get her back. Or they all leave Mortis together, fighting and loving each other all the way.
The Son | Fanged God/Ahsoka Tano
The Son | Fanged God/Ahsoka Tano/Anakin Skywalker
I really loved the episode where she’s taken and Son-influenced Ahsoka expresses some of her frustrations with Anakin. I also enjoy the Dracula references, with her transformation beginning with a bite, the dark castle, the way they tried to free her with a phallic object—here a sword rather than a stake. Without the plot device of that sword and The Son wanting it, how would things have developed? Anakin wasn’t going to just leave the planet without her, after all, and The Son did want to use her to lure him over to the Dark Side. Alternately, what if Obi-Wan hadn’t been able to warn Ahsoka and Anakin was able to take The Son from Mortis, with her on the ship?
