Dear Creator,
Thank you so much for your work. I am deeply sorry for the tardiness. I meant to have it up within a week and let it slip by. I hope this letter can help you some now, and make up for the lateness of it.

DNWs:
permanently dead female characters (where she’s not even a ghost), the concept of Anakin and Ahsoka as a father/daugher relationship, mpreg, detailed gore, detailed description of bodily fluids and excretions, watersports, scat, emetophilia, noncon (dubcon is fine), rape, a/b/o, rule 63’ing female characters, body horror, explicit torture, permanently damaging torture, maiming, mutilating, bashing of characters or ships, unrequited love (except if it's only unrequited in a characters' head), unrequested ships (though mentions are okay), stories where nobody really cares about the woman/women in the ship, focus only on m/m interactions, a story where the f/f or m/f is secondary to the m/m, AUs not set in the galaxy far far away, underage (17+ is fine, whether you change canon ages or set things when the characters would be 17+), ageplay/infantilization, humiliation, bestiality, Jedi Order as evil/immoral (versus deeply flawed institution, which is is good), ships not mentioned in my letter (not using the ships mentioned or going with different characters altogether is good, but in that case I'd prefer gen with whatever ship you do prefer to write as background or a reference), characters from the books/comics/games tie-ins for Buffy and Star Wars (with the exception of the Ahsoka novel or Satsu from Buffy; the rest can be minor characters or referenced, but I don’t follow the materials so I’d rather not have them be too important to the story)
Caveat: Referencing something in that list which happened in canon is all right. I’d just rather not it be a main feature in the story.
With regard to fandoms, some may have more/longer prompts; this is because I've requested them before. Please don't pay any mind to that! I would love something for anything, or something else you come up with entirely on your own!
Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Star Wars crossover or fusion
Characters: Buffy Summers, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano
Ships: I ship all three of them with any of the others or all together; gen fic with slight shippiness or going platonic is also good.
Buffy-only ships I like: Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Willow, Buffy/Tara, Buffy/Giles, Buffy/Kendra, Buffy/Satsu, Buffy/Kennedy
Star Wars-only ships I like: Ahsoka/Anakin, Ahsoka/Vader, Ahsoka/Kaeden, Ahsoka/Asajj, Ahsoka/Barriss, Anakin/Ahsoka/Asajj
For crossovers:
Am I smooshing favorite characters from different canons here? Yes. Both Anakin and Ahsoka remind me of Buffy and vice versa: the compassion, emotionality, and snark with all three; the destiny and constant striving for a personal life with Anakin and Buffy; the determination to do what's right and question authority with Ahsoka and Buffy.
As for how to make it happen; I'm mostly interested in the mechanics as a way to throw the characters together, but if you want to weave the mechanics in as a part of that, I'd love that too!
Buffyverse canon includes alternate universes and dimensions, along with portals and spells designed to bring/send things from one place to the other. Star Wars has its own weird mystical worlds going on. Work with that as you will. Another thing is, what if Buffy's resurrection that sends her over to a random universe not her own? Whether something went wrong or the powers of her universe made sure her return couldn't unbalance things--it did give the First Evil a loophole to takeover in the series. Or Ahsoka walks into this world at some point after trying to leave the World Between Worlds? You could connect the Sith Temple on Malachor to the Hellmouth. There's also the possibility of setting Star Wars as legitimately "long long ago." Maybe have them be ghosts --Buffy does on occasion get visions and dreams from ghosts. A Star Wars character could be frozen in carbonite/mystical sleep, found in some old temple. Or do it the other way around: the Buffyverse happens first and then, whether as a ghost or a serious case of Sleeping Beauty, Buffy makes it to the Star Wars time and galaxy in an old temple. Maybe someone’s just immortal! Or, what if they occur at the same time and in the same universe/dimension: AU Earth into the Star Wars universe, or have it be discovered during the Clone Wars.
Star Wars as an artifact of pop culture exists in the Buffyverse. I'm fine if you want to handwave that away or if you want it to remain so, however you handle it. maybe Once Upon a Time it, with there being different Realms of Story, from which Buffy characters and Star Wars characters are pulled to live in the real world. Or Jumanji it, where characters from either canon are stuck in the other and have to deal with all the rules until they get out. You could do the dual Chosen Ones for different things Buffy and Angel had going on with Buffy and Anakin.
For fusions:
I love Buffy, and came into both these fandoms at the same time way back when. Having Ahsoka be the Vampire Slayer makes sense to me; she reminds me of Buffy already, and she does have that mystical connection through Mortis. Maybe both she and Anakin are Chosen Ones—if you’re into the comparison/ship, Buffy’s love Angel does turn out to be a Chosen One too, with a destiny that could have been be either the hero or the villain—you could work with how Ahsoka became the embodiment of light while he, both then and later, followed the darkness. Or you could meld it with Ahsoka’s capture on Mortis: Anakin’s the Chosen One and she’s been influenced by evil, but Ahsoka’s Ahsoka.
Or! The classic BTVS Halloween AU could be of use.
Some fusion/crossover ideas:
Buffy’s the Chosen One Ahsoka is apprenticed to, or Ahsoka is a way better version of that Guardian who shows up in “End of Days,” Ahsoka is a Watcher who quit the Council just like Buffy did and shows up in Sunnydale all intrigued upon hearing of this unorthodox Slayer. Alternately, you could do the dual Chosen Ones for different things Buffy and Angel had going on with Buffy and Anakin.
Doctor Who/Star Wars crossover or fusion
A note: I’ve only watched the first two seasons of Twelfth’s run and expect to finish it all by the time the exchange is over, but I’m willing to see stuff from any point in Doctor Who. I don’t mind spoilers at all; I’ve been osmosing them for over a decade now!
Ships: I ship Ahsoka and Anakin, would enjoy other combinations of these characters as well--including Ahsoka/Anakin/Missy, or all four them. Going platonic is also good for me!
Doctor Who-only ships I like: Twelfth/Missy, Twelfth/Clara
Star Wars-only ships I like: Ahsoka/Anakin, Ahsoka/Vader, Ahsoka/Kaeden, Ahsoka/Asajj, Ahsoka/Barriss, Anakin/Ahsoka/Asajj
For crossovers:
Ahsoka Tano and Missy switch bodies, with the end result being that Missy becomes Empress of the galaxy with Anakin as her Enforcer, until either the Doctor and Ahsoka manage to set things right or Missy gets bored and leaves. Either way, Ahsoka comes back to a mess and her relationship with Anakin is now more complicated...I ship them, but I love their relationship in its platonic form too. Idea taken with permission from selenak on LJ, here.
Alternately, Ahsoka as Companion...or a sort of Time Lord herself, given the powers she has and the powers she's linked to? Twelfth taking both Anakin and Ahsoka on as Companions? Missy messing with Anakin's mind in some other way, and Ahsoka trying to stop it?
For fusions:
Ahsoka as Time Lord! Or someone more like Ashildr; maybe The Daughter and her family are Time Lords here? Or she’s a Companion to Anakin’s Doctor; I can see her as being the one to keep him, half Force-born, in touch with reality, even as they’re both passionate and sometimes frightening. Or hey, Twelfth and Missy are like the Ones, dipping into mortal lives; I can see Missy as Son-like in her love for the Doctor.
Star Wars/The Good Place crossover or fusion
Crossover Ships: Any with these two characters, bring it on!
The Good Place only-ships I like: Eleanor/Chidi, Eleanor/Michael, Eleanor/Janet, Eleanor/Tahani, Eleanor/Mindy, really any of the canon ships
Star Wars-only ships I like: Ahsoka/Anakin, Ahsoka/Vader, Ahsoka/Kaeden, Ahsoka/Asajj, Ahsoka/Barriss, Anakin/Ahsoka/Asajj
For crossovers:
Michael decides to try a different experiment with rather different people; those who have been touched by the Mortis creatures called gods.
Ahsoka, not being wholly mortal anymore, can wander in and mess up Michael’s plans, or draw his interest.
Anakin—or Vader—and Ahsoka are drawn to a strange nexus in the Force and wander where the angels’ tread.
For fusions:
Imagine these characters cast as soulmates, not quite feeling how they belong in The Good Place—perhaps put there by the Ones of Mortis—Ahsoka, shaken in her beliefs after leaving the Jedi, or even earlier after making a decision that cost lives or failing to save someone, Anakin knowing why he’s not the ideal Jedi.
Legend of the Seeker/Star Wars fusion
Star Wars-only ships I like: Ahsoka/Anakin, Ahsoka/Vader, Ahsoka/Kaeden, Ahsoka/Asajj, Ahsoka/Barriss, Anakin/Ahsoka/Asajj
At some point this year it occurred to me that Ahsoka and Asajj could have been the Star Wars equivalent of Kahlan and Cara, and Anakin the resident Seeker of humble origins. Or you could do it the other way around!
Greek and Roman Mythology/Star Wars crossover or fusion
Crossover Ships: Any with these two characters, bring it on!
Star Wars-only ships I like: Ahsoka/Anakin, Ahsoka/Vader, Ahsoka/Kaeden, Ahsoka/Asajj, Ahsoka/Barriss, Anakin/Ahsoka/Asajj
For crossovers:
Imagine the fun the Greek gods could have with these characters. Maybe it’s not The Father Anakin has to ask for Ahsoka’s life back.
For fusions:
Ahsoka and Anakin are fertile ground, given their associations with light and dark in their canon. She’s been touched the dark—The Son, her own urging for battle, for vengeance—and the light: The Daughter giving her life, her compassion, her ability to see Anakin in Vader and offer him mercy. Anakin is touched by the dark, but has a natural compassion and is drawn to the good in his loved ones. Ahsoka brought out the memory of that, if briefly. This train of thought is partly inspired by the poem “A Myth of Devotion” by Louise Glück. These last stanzas especially:
He dreams, he wonders what to call this place.
First he thinks: The New Hell. Then: The Garden.
In the end, he decides to name it
Persephone’s Girlhood.
A soft light rising above the level meadow,
behind the bed. He takes her in his arms.
He wants to say I love you, nothing can hurt you
but he thinks
this is a lie, so he says in the end
you’re dead, nothing can hurt you
which seems to him
a more promising beginning, more true.
Fairy Tales & Related Fandoms/Star Wars fusion
Star Wars ships I like: Ahsoka/Anakin, Ahsoka/Vader, Ahsoka/Kaeden, Ahsoka/Asajj, Ahsoka/Barriss, Anakin/Ahsoka/Asajj
There are several fairytales I like that could work here. “Beauty and the Beast” is one of them; there’s also “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.” They all have the element of a heroine rescuing a corrupted/monster/mysterious person, who in the latter two stories has to be sought out by the heroine on a quest. Maybe some form of “Sleeping Beauty:” Ahsoka in some sort of cryogenic sleep, hidden away where only Vader knows. But you could pick your own, or just invent one!
Once Upon a Time/Star Wars fusion
Star Wars-only ships I like: Ahsoka/Anakin, Ahsoka/Vader, Ahsoka/Kaeden, Ahsoka/Asajj, Ahsoka/Barriss, Anakin/Ahsoka/Asajj
I loved the concept of all those characters from different stories and even realms being trapped in one place, with false memories, feeling helpless under the power of the curse caster and whoever that curse caster allows to benefit from the curse. I’ve wanted to see something like that with Star Wars for some time. What if Palpatine could have such a curse? Maybe Anakin is his Sheriff Graham? Or some version of Hook, agreeing to be taken by the curse in pursuit of vengeance/some other goal, unaware that he’ll be caught in it to the extent of forgetting himself? Or he’s Jefferson, stuck being the online one with real memories, or David, in a coma with amnesia until/unless he’s given the fake memory treatment. Maybe he’s the Savior.
Dead Like Me/Star Wars fusion
Star Wars ships I like: Ahsoka/Anakin, Ahsoka/Vader, Ahsoka/Kaeden, Ahsoka/Asajj, Ahsoka/Barriss, Anakin/Ahsoka/Asajj
One of them dies and they become a Grim Reapers unable to be recognized by the people they love, and they with their loved ones suffer, maybe communicating indirectly sometimes, until they can see the other is really alive in a way. Maybe that’s what happens with Ahsoka after Malachor? Or all members of a ship die and get stuck trying to make it in this new life together.
Jupiter Ascending/Star Wars crossover or fusion
Crossover ships: Anything for these two, bring it on!
Jupiter Ascending-only ships I like: Jupiter/Caine, Jupiter/Kalique, Jupiter/Balem
Star Wars-only ships I like: Ahsoka/Anakin, Ahsoka/Vader, Ahsoka/Kaeden, Ahsoka/Asajj, Ahsoka/Barriss, Anakin/Ahsoka/Asajj
For crossovers:
Space opera meets space opera. Sounds right to me! It would be so fun trying to AU these canon settings into each other, or even just having their civilizations come into contact after a long time. Maybe a Star Wars planet or two is going to get mined, so to speak. Maybe the Jedi are feeling pressure to be diplomatic with these people, much to the disgust of Anakin and Ahsoka. What if they’re helping Jupiter out, and on her side she does what she can to mitigate the damage caused by her family?
For fusions:
Anakin is in Jupiter’s role, and Ahsoka is the angsty genetically engineered hybrid who finds herself trying to help him. Or Ahsoka’s run off after realizing the corruption of her position, and Anakin—or Vader—is obsessed with finding her. Or her recurrence.
Merlin/Buffy crossover or fusion
I finally watched Merlin last year and something about the tone—the camp, the seriousness—really brought Buffy to mind. Ships I like for these canons are Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Willow, Buffy/Tara, Buffy/Giles, Buffy/Kendra, Buffy/Satsu, Buffy/Kennedy, Arthur/Gwen, Buffy/Merlin, Buffy/Arthur, Buffy/Uther, Buffy/Morgana, Buffy/Gwen.
For crossovers:
I love time-traveling and alternate dimension adventures. What if someone needs to retrieve an artifact from the other canon? Or they touch one, as Buffy did with the Slayer kit Robin gave her, and interacting with it sends her over to Merlin land?
Alternately, Merlin or Willow have trouble with a spell—possibly at the same time—and their power creates an interdimensional rift. They and Buffy and Arthur, get sent to the other canon, or the rift stays open and people can wander through as often as they like; but it’s dangerous for it to stay that way.
Or, someone who wants Buffy gone just finds it easier to send her away, with or without knowledge of what they’re doing. She makes a living as much as she can in Albion, slaying monsters, and rumors of her spread to Camelot. Use as much or as little of Uther and Giles having the same face as you see fit!
What if Buffy is Arthur’s reincarnation?
For fusions:
Buffy is like Arthur; high school mean queen with a destiny she’s willing to shoulder, even if she doesn’t like what it entails, for the good of others. She’s also the “warrior of the people” her friends want back from the dead. We could have a once and future Slayer situation here. Maybe she’s part of a line of Albion’s defenders, Excalibur (or her Scythe) being the thing used determine who’s next each time one dies. In keeping with her canon backstory, she might be a noblewoman or even a princess who is now being taken away from the life expected of her for this ancient purpose. Unless the rulers of Albion are always supposed to have this power; what might her life be like if she had expected it the whole time?
Again, thank you so much, and I hope your exchange experience will be fun!
