I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. I’d love something sweet during any time period; what about one of the times he’s sharing his mechanical knowledge—which he got from his mother—with her? I like to think it’s his way of meditation, and that it’s how he trains her with regard to that aspect of Jedi life. Or what about after a battle, when they both need to talk or just be together? I really liked the point in her novel where she’s thinking about how he used to take care of her after battles, help her deal with the mental toll of the war. How about an AU where one or both of them was never found by the Jedi: Anakin remains a slave, Ahsoka was successfully captured as a toddler and sold by the bounty hunter (I love that bit of her backstory for the what-if of how she nearly had another thing in common with Anakin), so they run into each other under those circumstances; only one of them goes through what’s described above, until they’re found by the Sith, while the other remains a Jedi. Or maybe he tries to reach her after he’s gone back to the Light Side; what do they say, and how do they begin to move on? Does she know it, with the mystical transformation she seems to have undergone by then? Or what if he actually survived—they thought their time to live was over, and now they have to deal with living in a galaxy they never expected, together. I’d also love a Regency AU (set in space or somewhere more historical) akin to Sorcerer of the Crown by Zen Cho, with Anakin in this unstable position in society due to his origins and Ahsoka, also with a less than respectable background, swooping into his life with all her confidence and talent. Or a fairytale AU! I love the Mortis arc for how the gods play with these two, and how they both foreshadow and ensure their future. Ahsoka is influenced by the darkness, but ends in the light. Anakin is pulled by both, but chooses the darkness for the last half of his life until it’s time for his death. The Son never wanted to hurt The Daughter, but he kills her, though part of her survives; Anakin never wanted to hurt Ahsoka and even as Vader did not move to do it at first, but his rage spurred him into trying and she continues to live. Then there’s how each pair is a set of counterparts, dark and light, light and dark; the difference only in how the mortals can both choose, where the gods are bound to their nature as avatars of The Force. I’d love to see more time spent with them all aware and sentient beings together; perhaps when Ahsoka is taken by The Son, The Daughter tries to help Anakin get her back. Or they all leave Mortis together, fighting and loving each other all the way.

What if Ahsoka didn’t need to break her cover? What kind of interactions might they have had? Miraj found her attractive, but rebellious. Still, she seemed into strength. What arrangement would she try to make with Ahsoka, if Ahsoka proved her strength to her?
Or, you could go AU with it. The Zygerrians and the Togruta seem like they might’ve had an interesting history together. What if the Zygerrian empire, or its remnants, were still powerful, and Ahsoka was sent there by the Togrutas as a tribute, or a peace offering, and/or part of an arranged marriage to protect Shili from being enslaved? Or maybe Ahsoka really was taken by a slaver as a child instead of the real Jedi—the early designs for that impostor Jedi eventually became the Zygerrians—and ended up in Miraj’s court, a valuable slave and/or bodyguard thanks to her Force abilities?
Miraj Scintel/Anakin Skywalker/Ahsoka Tano (The Clone Wars)
Miraj Scintel found both Ahsoka and Anakin attractive and things could have gone differently for both of them. What if, when accepting Ahsoka as a slave, she wanted to seal the deal by enjoying them both—or she just wanted to watch—and Anakin broke their cover to protect Ahsoka, failed as in the show and things went south? Or what if Ahsoka convinced him not to break it? What if they try to pretend he’s had her for pleasure before? How long does it last before they can escape and free the other slaves? Or there’s a missing scene from the episodes where something like this happened before Ahsoka got put in the cage and they had to wait to see if the other was all right. Maybe Anakin tries to make her enjoy it, to make it less awful for her, and it only gives her—and him—more to process after it’s all done? Or Miraj makes Ahsoka ride him and he encourages her, trying to reassure her? I’m imagining a scenario where they were already attracted to each other (feel free to pretend Padmé never happened or not, as you wish.) Them both being Force-sensitive would make it even more intense—the sensations, their existing Force-bond connection, their feelings. Then there’s the part where in the show, Anakin seemed to develop sympathy for Miraj, despite his hatred of slavery and slavers—his past would seem to be relevant here, as well as perhaps the Jedi training on compassion and his ability to feel for people; how would he and Ahsoka handle that when they’re being forced into this situation and watching what’s happening to the other as well as themselves?
I’d also really love them trying to recover together, taking care of each other, trauma-bonding. Anakin tries to help Ahsoka through it, as he does after their usual battles and struggles, and Ahsoka tries to help him in turn; maybe sharing the experience brings him to talk about his past as a slave, and they become closer. What if they reclaim intimacy and the relationship and need to touch each other more in the aftermath? What if they end up feeling more comfortable being vulnerable physically and emotionally with each other as they recover?

Angelus (BtVS)/Buffy Summers (BtVS)
These two were a painful delight together. It was fascinating to see Angelus reacting to the experience of having loved her by trying to make her into another of his “works of art,” and interesting to see him seeming to avoid her when he was finally convinced it wouldn’t work. And that he felt so disturbed by the ghostly possession leading to romantic interaction! He thought her love gave him a hold over her, but he doesn’t seem to be entirely aware of how she has a hold over him in turn, or he’s refusing to be. And it’s so agonizing to watch Buffy struggle with the power he has to hurt her, aware of it, always acting on her principles and sense of responsibility, and trying hard to turn off the feelings that get in the way. They’re both coming at the relationship by trying to adhere to who they believe they are and who they should be, and they never wholly succeed. Angelus can’t mold her into something he can control even though she’s vulnerable, and he fails to kill her. Buffy can’t get him back even when there seems to be a chance, and killing him doesn’t make him go away. What if he’d chosen to try pretending he was the same for longer, enjoying and hating being drawn to her? What if he tried to have sexual encounters with her, knowing it would hurt her, rationalizing it as being the only way she gives him pleasure? What if he’d ended up chipped instead of Spike, and Buffy felt oompelled to hide him? Or he came back from hell sans soul—whether it went its separate way into the afterlife upon Buffy sending him there or Willow never managed to return it.
Darla/Buffy Summers (BtVS)
This is something I’d have loved to see more of in the show. They both captivated and kickstarted Angel into a new life, they both, in a way, killed him. Darla pretends to be Buffy’s student friend; what if she’d done more with that? What if she’d developed an interest in figuring out what made Buffy dangerous to them? Maybe Buffy gets a chance to investigate her in return, and develops a fascination, and/or dreams of her. Or what if she’d survived—if she’d ended up being chipped by the Initiative instead of Spike—it’d be fun to see her trying to play both sides, and Buffy reconciling her issues with her with the fact that she’s, in one way at least, helpless? Maybe she’s around in season six and sees potential in Buffy’s depressive state. Alternatively, Darla’s plans after becoming a vampire again involve handling Buffy so that she can’t be a threat again—except it goes differently than killing her. If inspiration strikes, feel free to use Drusilla with these prompts as well, or combine any of these with the Drusilla/Buffy prompts below.
Drusilla/Buffy Summers (BtVS)
These two get paralleled quite a bit! Both fixations of Angel, both psychic and isolated from society in their power. Buffy dreams of Drusilla around Angel, and Drusilla sees her around Spike. Drusilla is delighted at the thought that Angel will to do Buffy what he did to her—and I understood that to be both breaking and turning her. What if she’d played a more active role in bringing that about? Does she want a new pet? Or perhaps later, when she and Darla are trying to get Angel, then Spike back; maybe this time she wants to get Buffy too, finds it fitting after Buffy had so much to do with what happened to the other vampires in her family. On Buffy’s side, she’s disturbed to hear what Angel did to Drusilla—she must think of it afterwards when he’s torturing her. What’s going through her mind then? Does she dream of Drusilla, past and present—and possibly future? What if Drusilla came back when Buffy was hitting her lows in season six? If inspiration strikes, feel free to add Darla to these prompts, or combine them with the Darla/Buffy prompts above.

I really enjoyed how Buffy found a new mentor in Maggie, and seemed to really look up to her; I’d have loved to see that explored longer. Maybe a little more cat and mouse with regard to the Initiative and the Slayer, before they find out who they are; meanwhile Buffy keeps enrolling in Maggie’s other classes, or visits her during office hours anyway for advice. Alternatively, Maggie is less ready to dispose of Buffy than in canon, because she sees potential in the Initiative having control of her; maybe as Buffy herself grows less interested in Riley and more in Maggie. Or, tell me more about Maggie’s pov when she was watching Buffy and Riley have sex after a fight.

I’d also love some other way for Missy to come and mess things up for them; she managed to trap souls after death to turn them into Cybermen after all, and you know Anakin’s thing about death. Maybe he’s trying to repeat what he did with Ahsoka, or even bring her back from the dead when he thinks he as Vader has killed her. Or maybe Ahsoka runs into the wrong portal—and Missy—when she’s navigating the World Between Worlds, given how it can take you anywhere you’re thinking of, and they get into a mess with Anakin, which the Doctor tries to help set right.

Maybe one of them is stuck in a temple via cryogenics or a spell and the other finds them in the ruins. Or, they run into each other when Buffy’s in that trap that turns homeless Earth people into slave labor; maybe she ends up on Tatooine instead, or he and/or Shmi got taken there at some point from Tatooine, and they escape together. Then they bond!
Buffy Summers (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)
They’re both so resilient and brave and snarky. They are both lost to themselves and to the world sometimes, but they persist in living and eventually finding meaning and purpose in their fight again. They’re unconventional and independent and caring and that’s what saves them, and what makes them good leaders who inspire others and connect to them in terrible circumstances. Fuse their universes, have one of them visit the other in a dream—they’re both psychic that way—or have some portal shenanigans with the Force/Hellmouth. Maybe one of them is stuck in a temple via cryogenics or a spell and the other finds them in the ruins. Or, they run into each other when Buffy’s in that trap that turns homeless Earth people into slave labor; maybe in this case it’s actually something like the hunting game Ahsoka got caught in during The Clone Wars, and this time they’re trapped together! Escaping and bonding ensues.
Ben Solo | Kylo Ren (Star Wars ST)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars Animation)
One of the most intriguing get-togethers that hasn’t happened. In their own ways, they each represent Anakin’s legacy, and they have their own relationships to that and to him. Ahsoka is his path not taken, having faced her own capacity for darkness when she wanted vengeance and chose against it, and Kylo Ren believes he is continuing his work by choosing against his capacity for goodness; as they both turn away and leave him behind, they continue on their paths, one to remove herself from the galaxy at large until she is needed and the other to dominated it in an attempt to fulfill his own needs. Does Kylo Ren ever find out his grandfather had an apprentice? What if he met her on some pilgrimage to Malachor? Or, in a universe where Anakin survived and Ben Solo still became Kylo Ren, would Kylo Ren find them together, and perhaps come to a different choice? Or maybe he finds Ahsoka in a sleep-like trance in the ruins of Malachor, and waking her leads to her being able to ward off Snoke’s influence? Maybe she trains him instead of or in addition to Luke, or a repentant Ben finds her when he’s trying to put what’s left of his destruction into a new life.
Rey (Star Wars Sequel Trilogy)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars Animation)
The concept of these two meeting is great! Ahsoka is touched by the light side, both in her choice to live in it and in how its very essence gave her back her life. They both try to reach a dark-side user they see more in, and succeed, only to be betrayed by him, and they both face the hard choice of letting him go and coming in to their potential themselves, without any help. What if Ahsoka walked through another portal, when she knew it was time? Or perhaps she learned how to become a Force Ghost and that is the version Rey meets on a dream quest? Or maybe Ahsoka has become ageless, in a sleep-like trance under Malachor’s ruined Temple, until Rey goes there and wakes her up?

What with Ahsoka’s ties to mystical beings, this seemed an interesting ship. Dream’s the embodiment of dream, and Ahsoka has absorbed the essence of the embodiment of light. Maybe Ahsoka’s resurrection is a sort of rebirth, and she becomes something of a mystical creature herself. Or maybe her further explorations of the Force lead her to meeting Dream. Perhaps both.
Death of the Endless (Sandman comics)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)
As with the ship with Dream above, it’s interesting to think of Ahsoka’s connections to the mystical. She’s died and lived again, and then that same event led to her escaping death at the hands of the person who’d intially saved her. What does Death think about this, and what kind of conversations might they have? Would Ahsoka delving into mysteries of the Force let her talk to Death again?
Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)/Julia Wicker (The Magicians)
Between Ahsoka bearing the essence of the goddess of light and Julia becoming a godddess herself, and all the different worlds and pop culture references in The Magicians, this ship could be a lot of fun! Both of them have times when they can’t access the power of their divinity; Ahsoka so far seems limited to her usual Force abilities and perceiving her connection with Morai, and Julia loses even her old ability to use magic. Then there’s how they went through so much suffering, so much upheaval, and walked on lonely roads to achieve the degree of serenity and wisdom Ahsoka seems to have reached by the end of Rebels and Julia by the time she gives up her power to bring magic back. It would be cool for them to try exploring magic/The Force, trying to understand who and what they are, via some experimentation with each other. Also, since Star Wars exists in The Magicians, what if it’s like Fillory and there’s more to it than Julia knew? Is it really long, long ago, or just in a world far, far away? Or both, and Ahsoka has traveled far and long to meet her, sleeping in some hidden temple until Julia arrives?
Emma Swan (Once Upon a Time)/Julia Wicker (The Magicians)
Emma is the strongest light magic, although she doesn’t understand it, and has very little training; Julia ascends into goddesshood, learning what that means mostly by herself. They both have a “road paved with good intentions” arc, trying to protect others and satisfy their emotions via callous deeds, and they both know something of what it’s like to live in the cracks of modern of human society, albeit for very different reasons. They also have opposite intial reactions to contact with magic: Emma’s denial until it almost costs her her son and Julia’s persistent pursuit of it no matter what the cost. It’d be cool to have them try to learn more about themselves by learning about each other, with a little experimentation. Given how much both of their canons draw both on other dimensions and those dimensions being stories on Earth, it’d be fun to have them collide. Is Once Upon a Time a TV series in The Magicians, much like Fillory is a series of children’s books, and is it the same kind of “true but not what you thought” as Fillory? Or maybe the other way around, and The Magicians exists in its TV and book versions in Once Upon a Time? That’d be really meta!

I loved their dynamic on the show. They both took to the sword, but Juliet did it out of idealism and the desire to protect the vulnerable, and struggles to reshape that drive into the hunger for vengeance a Capulet heir is meant to pursue, where Tybalt does it out of vengeance and loyalty to the one family connection he can claim, and never questions it until Juliet reaches out to him. She follows him into the underbelly of Neo-Verona and she trusts him alone with the knowledge of what she must do to keep Neo-Verona safe. And he listens to her. He’s shaken by her steady resolve once she decides not to pursue vengeance, and he’s moved by her confiding her future sacrifice. He confronts his father, but when she shows up, he lets her take over. He’s willing to talk to and listen to Romeo, for her sake. It would be really fun if they had more time together. Maybe adrenaline can lead them into more than just fighting the Montague grip on the land, or practicing with each other. Maybe the tree requires deeds of a different nature from the Capulets to keep the land in good shape. Or, Juliet does rule Neo-Verona, but she needs to keep the Capulet line going with the only other survivor of Capulet blood.
Juliet Fiammatta Arst De Capulet/Leontes van de Montague
This responds to my love of hero/villain ships, and there’s such an interesting spark to it. His hatred of her and her family so extreme that it drives him more and more into instability as the show goes on, just as Juliet’s love for others leads her to become more steady and sure of herself than ever, once she leaves vengeance behind for good; he works by instilling fear in others, where she’s a voice of inspiration and hope. He wants her dead and she’s so gentle when he dies, and he seems to feel it even as he denies her to the end. He’s fucked up where she’s increasingly put together. What if, aware of what was happening with the tree, he tried to fix it via sacrificing Juliet—only the tree isn’t asking him for her death? What if Juliet knew, maybe even knew first, and tried to reach him, persuade him into doing the ritual, even as it messed her up? Maybe he would respond if he could see how it affected her, possibly take pleasure in her being unhappy with it, try to reframe it as a punishment the will of the land was inflicting on the Capulets through him. Or maybe his plots to destroy the Capulets didn’t work out like he hoped, so he tries to do it a generation later, from the inside out. What if he decides he can get rid of the last hints of the Capulet threat by marrying the last one, absorbing her family into the Montagues forever, and she chooses to accept as a sacrifice to keep the peace, hoping to influence Neo-Verona for the better from the top?

I really love these two, how they mirror each other and go such down different paths, how first Anakin tries to hold onto Ahsoka and then Ahsoka tries to hold onto him, the tragedy of their failure to manage it and living with that. I’d love something sweet during any time period; what about one of the times he’s sharing his mechanical knowledge—which he got from his mother—with her? I like to think it’s his way of meditation, and that it’s how he trains her with regard to that aspect of Jedi life. Or what about after a battle, when they both need to talk or just be together? I really liked the point in her novel where she’s thinking about how he used to take care of her after battles, help her deal with the mental toll of the war. How about an AU where one or both of them was never found by the Jedi: Anakin remains a slave, Ahsoka was successfully captured as a toddler and sold by the bounty hunter (I love that bit of her backstory for the what-if of how she nearly had another thing in common with Anakin), so they run into each other under those circumstances; only one of them goes through what’s described above, until they’re found by the Sith, while the other remains a Jedi. Or maybe he tries to reach her after he’s gone back to the Light Side; what do they say, and how do they begin to move on? Does she know it, with the mystical transformation she seems to have undergone by then? Or what if he actually survived—they thought their time to live was over, and now they have to deal with living in a galaxy they never expected, together. I’d also love a Regency AU (set in space or somewhere more historical) akin to Sorcerer of the Crown by Zen Cho, with Anakin in this unstable position in society due to his origins and Ahsoka, also with a less than respectable background, swooping into his life with all her confidence and talent. Or a fairytale AU! I love the Mortis arc for how the gods play with these two, and how they both foreshadow and ensure their future. Ahsoka is influenced by the darkness, but ends in the light. Anakin is pulled by both, but chooses the darkness for the last half of his life until it’s time for his death. The Son never wanted to hurt The Daughter, but he kills her, though part of her survives; Anakin never wanted to hurt Ahsoka and even as Vader did not move to do it at first, but his rage spurred him into trying and she continues to live. Then there’s how each pair is a set of counterparts, dark and light, light and dark; the difference only in how the mortals can both choose, where the gods are bound to their nature as avatars of The Force. I’d love to see more time spent with them all aware and sentient beings together; perhaps when Ahsoka is taken by The Son, The Daughter tries to help Anakin get her back. Or they all leave Mortis together, fighting and loving each other all the way.

Or, you could go AU with it. The Zygerrians and the Togruta seem like they might’ve had an interesting history together. What if the Zygerrian empire, or its remnants, were still powerful, and Ahsoka was sent there by the Togrutas as a tribute, or a peace offering, and/or part of an arranged marriage to protect Shili from being enslaved? Or maybe Ahsoka really was taken by a slaver as a child instead of the real Jedi—the early designs for that impostor Jedi eventually became the Zygerrians—and ended up in Miraj’s court, a valuable slave and/or bodyguard thanks to her Force abilities?

Miraj Scintel found both Ahsoka and Anakin attractive and things could have gone differently for both of them. What if, when accepting Ahsoka as a slave, she wanted to seal the deal by enjoying them both—or she just wanted to watch—and Anakin broke their cover to protect Ahsoka, failed as in the show and things went south? Or what if Ahsoka convinced him not to break it? What if they try to pretend he’s had her for pleasure before? How long does it last before they can escape and free the other slaves? Or there’s a missing scene from the episodes where something like this happened before Ahsoka got put in the cage and they had to wait to see if the other was all right. Maybe Anakin tries to make her enjoy it, to make it less awful for her, and it only gives her—and him—more to process after it’s all done? Or Miraj makes Ahsoka ride him and he encourages her, trying to reassure her? I’m imagining a scenario where they were already attracted to each other (feel free to pretend Padmé never happened or not, as you wish.) Them both being Force-sensitive would make it even more intense—the sensations, their existing Force-bond connection, their feelings. Then there’s the part where in the show, Anakin seemed to develop sympathy for Miraj, despite his hatred of slavery and slavers—his past would seem to be relevant here, as well as perhaps the Jedi training on compassion and his ability to feel for people; how would he and Ahsoka handle that when they’re being forced into this situation and watching what’s happening to the other as well as themselves?
I’d also really love them trying to recover together, taking care of each other, trauma-bonding. Anakin tries to help Ahsoka through it, as he does after their usual battles and struggles, and Ahsoka tries to help him in turn; maybe sharing the experience brings him to talk about his past as a slave, and they become closer. What if they reclaim intimacy and the relationship and need to touch each other more in the aftermath? What if they end up feeling more comfortable being vulnerable physically and emotionally with each other as they recover?

These two were a painful delight together. It was fascinating to see Angelus reacting to the experience of having loved her by trying to make her into another of his “works of art,” and interesting to see him seeming to avoid her when he was finally convinced it wouldn’t work. And that he felt so disturbed by the ghostly possession leading to romantic interaction! He thought her love gave him a hold over her, but he doesn’t seem to be entirely aware of how she has a hold over him in turn, or he’s refusing to be. And it’s so agonizing to watch Buffy struggle with the power he has to hurt her, aware of it, always acting on her principles and sense of responsibility, and trying hard to turn off the feelings that get in the way. They’re both coming at the relationship by trying to adhere to who they believe they are and who they should be, and they never wholly succeed. Angelus can’t mold her into something he can control even though she’s vulnerable, and he fails to kill her. Buffy can’t get him back even when there seems to be a chance, and killing him doesn’t make him go away. What if he’d chosen to try pretending he was the same for longer, enjoying and hating being drawn to her? What if he tried to have sexual encounters with her, knowing it would hurt her, rationalizing it as being the only way she gives him pleasure? What if he’d ended up chipped instead of Spike, and Buffy felt oompelled to hide him? Or he came back from hell sans soul—whether it went its separate way into the afterlife upon Buffy sending him there or Willow never managed to return it.
Darla/Buffy Summers (BtVS)
This is something I’d have loved to see more of in the show. They both captivated and kickstarted Angel into a new life, they both, in a way, killed him. Darla pretends to be Buffy’s student friend; what if she’d done more with that? What if she’d developed an interest in figuring out what made Buffy dangerous to them? Maybe Buffy gets a chance to investigate her in return, and develops a fascination, and/or dreams of her. Or what if she’d survived—if she’d ended up being chipped by the Initiative instead of Spike—it’d be fun to see her trying to play both sides, and Buffy reconciling her issues with her with the fact that she’s, in one way at least, helpless? Maybe she’s around in season six and sees potential in Buffy’s depressive state. Alternatively, Darla’s plans after becoming a vampire again involve handling Buffy so that she can’t be a threat again—except it goes differently than killing her. Drusilla/Buffy Summers (BtVS)
These two get paralleled quite a bit! Both fixations of Angel, both psychic and isolated from society in their power. Buffy dreams of Drusilla around Angel, and Drusilla sees her around Spike. Drusilla is delighted at the thought that Angel will to do Buffy what he did to her—and I understood that to be both breaking and turning her. What if she’d played a more active role in bringing that about? Does she want a new pet? Or perhaps later, when she and Darla are trying to get Angel, then Spike back; maybe this time she wants to get Buffy too, finds it fitting after Buffy had so much to do with what happened to the other vampires in her family. On Buffy’s side, she’s disturbed to hear what Angel did to Drusilla—she must think of it afterwards when he’s torturing her. What’s going through her mind then? Does she dream of Drusilla, past and present—and possibly future? What if Drusilla came back when Buffy was hitting her lows in season six? I really enjoyed how Buffy found a new mentor in Maggie, and seemed to really look up to her; I’d have loved to see that explored longer. Maybe a little more cat and mouse with regard to the Initiative and the Slayer, before they find out who they are; meanwhile Buffy keeps enrolling in Maggie’s other classes, or visits her during office hours anyway for advice. Alternatively, Maggie is less ready to dispose of Buffy than in canon, because she sees potential in the Initiative having control of her; maybe as Buffy herself grows less interested in Riley and more in Maggie. Or, tell me more about Maggie’s pov when she was watching Buffy and Riley have sex after a fight.

I’d also love some other way for Missy to come and mess things up for them; she managed to trap souls after death to turn them into Cybermen after all, and you know Anakin’s thing about death. Maybe he’s trying to repeat what he did with Ahsoka, or even bring her back from the dead when he thinks he as Vader has killed her. Or maybe Ahsoka runs into the wrong portal—and Missy—when she’s navigating the World Between Worlds, given how it can take you anywhere you’re thinking of, and they get into a mess with Anakin, which the Doctor tries to help set right.

Fuse their universes, have one of them visit the other in a dream—they’re both psychic that way—or have some portal shenanigans with the Force/Hellmouth. Maybe one of them is stuck in a temple via cryogenics or a spell and the other finds them in the ruins. Or, they run into each other when Buffy’s in that trap that turns homeless Earth people into slave labor; maybe in this case it’s actually something like the hunting game Ahsoka got caught in during The Clone Wars, and this time they’re trapped together! Ben Solo | Kylo Ren (Star Wars ST)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars Animation)
One of the most intriguing get-togethers that hasn’t happened. In their own ways, they each represent Anakin’s legacy, and they have their own relationships to that and to him. Ahsoka is his path not taken, having faced her own capacity for darkness when she wanted vengeance and chose against it, and Kylo Ren believes he is continuing his work by choosing against his capacity for goodness; as they both turn away and leave him behind, they continue on their paths, one to remove herself from the galaxy at large until she is needed and the other to dominated it in an attempt to fulfill his own needs. Does Kylo Ren ever find out his grandfather had an apprentice? What if he met her on some pilgrimage to Malachor? Or, in a universe where Anakin survived and Ben Solo still became Kylo Ren, would Kylo Ren find them together, and perhaps come to a different choice? Or maybe he finds Ahsoka in a sleep-like trance in the ruins of Malachor, and waking her leads to her being able to ward off Snoke’s influence? Maybe she trains him instead of or in addition to Luke, or a repentant Ben finds her when he’s trying to put what’s left of his destruction into a new life.
Rey (Star Wars Sequel Trilogy)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars Animation)
The concept of these two meeting is great! Ahsoka is touched by the light side, both in her choice to live in it and in how its very essence gave her back her life. Rey awoke to her power as the dark side rose. They both try to reach a dark-side user they see more in, and succeed, only to be betrayed by him, and they both face the hard choice of letting him go and coming in to their potential themselves, without any help. What if Ahsoka walked through another portal, when she knew it was time? Or perhaps she learned how to become a Force Ghost and that is the version Rey meets on a dream quest? Or maybe Ahsoka has become ageless, in a sleep-like trance under Malachor’s ruined Temple, until Rey goes there and wakes her up?
Dream of the Endless | Morpheus (Sandman comics)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)
What with Ahsoka’s ties to mystical beings, this seemed an interesting ship. Dream’s the embodiment of dream, and Ahsoka has absorbed the essence of the embodiment of light. Maybe Ahsoka’s resurrection is a sort of rebirth, and she becomes something of a mystical creature herself. Or maybe her further explorations of the Force lead her to meeting Dream. Perhaps both.
Death of the Endless (Sandman comics)/Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)
As with the ship with Dream above, it’s interesting to think of Ahsoka’s connections to the mystical. She’s died and lived again, and then that same event led to her escaping death at the hands of the person who’d intially saved her. What does Death think about this, and what kind of conversations might they have? Would Ahsoka delving into mysteries of the Force let her talk to Death again?
Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)/Julia Wicker (The Magicians)
Between Ahsoka bearing the essence of the goddess of light and Julia becoming a godddess herself, and all the different worlds and pop culture references in The Magicians, this ship could be a lot of fun! Both of them have times when they can’t access the power of their divinity; Ahsoka so far seems limited to her usual Force abilities and perceiving her connection with Morai, and Julia loses even her old ability to use magic. Then there’s how they went through so much suffering, so much upheaval, and walked on lonely roads to achieve the degree of serenity and wisdom Ahsoka seems to have reached by the end of Rebels and Julia by the time she gives up her power to bring magic back. It would be cool for them to try exploring magic/The Force, trying to understand who and what they are, via some experimentation with each other. Also, since Star Wars exists in The Magicians, what if it’s like Fillory and there’s more to it than Julia knew? Is it really long, long ago, or just in a world far, far away? Or both, and Ahsoka has traveled far and long to meet her, sleeping in some hidden temple until Julia arrives?
Emma Swan (Once Upon a Time)/Julia Wicker (The Magicians)
Emma is the strongest light magic, although she doesn’t understand it, and has very little training; Julia ascends into goddesshood, learning what that means mostly by herself. They both have a “road paved with good intentions” arc, trying to protect others and satisfy their emotions via callous deeds, and they both know something of what it’s like to live in the cracks of modern of human society, albeit for very different reasons. They also have opposite intial reactions to contact with magic: Emma’s denial until it almost costs her her son and Julia’s persistent pursuit of it no matter what the cost. It’d be cool to have them try to learn more about themselves by learning about each other, with a little experimentation. Given how much both of their canons draw both on other dimensions and those dimensions being stories on Earth, it’d be fun to have them collide. Is Once Upon a Time a TV series in The Magicians, much like Fillory is a series of children’s books, and is it the same kind of “true but not what you thought” as Fillory? Or maybe the other way around, and The Magicians exists in its TV and book versions in Once Upon a Time? That’d be really meta!

Did Bandon really mean it when he offered to teach her? Mareth’s a good person, so how would she try to balance that with learning from him, if she thought she would benefit from that? Maybe they both think they’re taking advantage of each other, while enjoying the ride—pun intended—or perhaps getting attached. Maybe he tries to persuade her to his side with sexual use of his powers, and she tries to one-up him to show she doesn’t need him. Or they find themselves in a situation where ritual sex will get them something they want, or is the only way to escape a magical trap.

Juliet Fiammatta Arst De Capulet/Tybalt Volumnia De Capulet
I loved their dynamic on the show. They both took to the sword, but Juliet did it out of idealism and the desire to protect the vulnerable, and struggles to reshape that drive into the hunger for vengeance a Capulet heir is meant to pursue, where Tybalt does it out of vengeance and loyalty to the one family connection he can claim, and never questions it until Juliet reaches out to him. She follows him into the underbelly of Neo-Verona and she trusts him alone with the knowledge of what she must do to keep Neo-Verona safe. And he listens to her. He’s shaken by her steady resolve once she decides not to pursue vengeance, and he’s moved by her confiding her future sacrifice. He confronts his father, but when she shows up, he lets her take over. He’s willing to talk to and listen to Romeo, for her sake. It would be really fun if they had more time together. Maybe adrenaline can lead them into more than just fighting the Montague grip on the land, or practicing with each other. Maybe the tree requires deeds of a different nature from the Capulets to keep the land in good shape. Or, Juliet does rule Neo-Verona, but she needs to keep the Capulet line going with the only other survivor of Capulet blood.
Juliet Fiammatta Arst De Capulet/Leontes van de Montague
This responds to my love of hero/villain ships, and there’s such an interesting spark to it. His hatred of her and her family so extreme that it drives him more and more into instability as the show goes on, just as Juliet’s love for others leads her to become more steady and sure of herself than ever, once she leaves vengeance behind for good; he works by instilling fear in others, where she’s a voice of inspiration and hope. He wants her dead and she’s so gentle when he dies, and he seems to feel it even as he denies her to the end. He’s fucked up where she’s increasingly put together. What if, aware of what was happening with the tree, he tried to fix it via sacrificing Juliet—only the tree isn’t asking him for her death? What if Juliet knew, maybe even knew first, and tried to reach him, persuade him into doing the ritual, even as it messed her up? Maybe he would respond if he could see how it affected her, possibly take pleasure in her being unhappy with it, try to reframe it as a punishment the will of the land was inflicting on the Capulets through him. Or maybe his plots to destroy the Capulets didn’t work out like he hoped, so he tries to do it a generation later, from the inside out. What if he decides he can get rid of the last hints of the Capulet threat by marrying the last one, absorbing her family into the Montagues forever, and she chooses to accept as a sacrifice to keep the peace, hoping to influence Neo-Verona for the better from the top?
