ETA: one fandom to go!

Dear Creator,

Thank you in advance for your effort and care! I hope this letter is of use to you, should you want it. Feel free to discard anything that doesn’t interest you!

Likes:

Parallels (and contrasts) between characters and their journeys are a thing for me.

I like characters looking out for each other and rescuing each other, giving care and emotional support. Especially when women are the ones receiving care and support, getting their needs made a priority by their loved ones.

Canon divergence and role reversals are loved, though I also enjoy other AUs.Also, is it clear that I like crossovers and crossover ships yet? Cross any of the fandoms listed above with each other, or even with one I haven't listed, and I'll love it.

Here are some more things I enjoy: fusions, vignettes, character studies, plotty stuff, angst, fluff, smut, adventure, characters talking to each other, character focus in smut, enemies to lovers, friends/lovers to enemies to lovers/friends, pining, worldbuilding, quiet character moments, bittersweet endings, happy endings, open endings with hope/upbeat tones, romance, gen, gen with a strong dose of romance, quiet and subtle romance, the total opposite of quiet and subtle romance (passion, fervor--after all, my fandoms have a high melodrama quotient)

DNWs:

Character death, mpreg, detailed gore, detailed description of bodily fluids and excretions, noncon, rape, incest, permanent breakups, a/b/o, genderbending unless it's for the male characters, body horror, explicit and/or permanently damaging torture, maiming, mutilating, bashing of characters or ships, unrequited love (except if it's only unrequited in a characters' head), ships (unless prompted/mentioned in the letter), anything from the comics except in the case of Satsu

Caveat: Referencing something in that list which happened in canon is all right. I’d just rather not it be a main feature in the story.

On to fandoms!

Star Wars - All Media Types

Kaeden Larte/Ahsoka Tano, Kalifa/Ahsoka Tano, Rey (Star Wars)/Ahsoka Tano, Jyn Erso/Ahsoka Tano, Q'ira/Ahsoka Tano, Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano, Padmé Amidala/Satine Kryze/Ahsoka Tano, Leia Organa/Ahsoka Tano, Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress, Q'ira/Chelli Lona Aphra/Ahsoka Tano, Padmé Amidala/Ahsoka Tano, Enfys Nest/Ahsoka Tano, Q'ira/Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress, Rey/Ahsoka Tano/Rose Tico, Rey/Leia Organa/Ahsoka Tano, Fanfiction, Fanvid

Kaeden Larte/Ahsoka Tano: Both of these women end up doing much more than they imagined, serving the galaxy in very different ways. The book is a bit Xena-like: Ahsoka is grappling with a new reality and not quite willing to open herself up to others when she meets this innocent farmgirl. Kaeden is in awe of her. Maybe instead of leaving with the others, Kaeden has to go on the run with Ahsoka, and they end up adventuring throughout the galaxy while fighting the Empire. Or, in addition to being a medical officer, she finds herself needing to work undercover somewhere and becomes one of Ahsoka’s contacts. Or they travel together after the war is over. Kaeden could join her to go find Ezra or that plot point can be AU’d away and they settle into working to create something new in the galaxy they fought for.

Kalifa/Ahsoka Tano: Their interactions were brief, but Ahsoka inspired Kalifa to resist the hunters and this was Ahsoka’s first taste of being hunted down for being a Jedi. In Kalifa we see how Ahsoka will become when Order 66 comes down, and how she can find meaning and purpose for herself after the traumatic event has begun happening. It’d be cool to see Kalifa making it off the planet and returning to the Jedi with Ahsoka. Tell me an adventure they share in the twilight of the Order. Maybe they mentor younglings together. Or show me them meeting after, being lost and finding each other again as they fight for the Rebellion. Maybe they flee Order 66 together, or Kalifa joins Ahsoka when she leaves the Jedi and they become vigilante heroes in the Coruscant underworld.

Rey/Ahsoka Tano: The last Jedi! They both have to deal with the grief of reaching out to someone in the darkness and not having that person walk into the light with them, and they both let them go as they come into their own. I also love the association with the light: Ahsoka died and was reborn with the avatar of the Light Side, a connection which saved her again on Malachor and represents what Vader can’t destroy about Anakin, while Rey is the light’s answer to the newly risen darkness of Kylo Ren trying to dim his own light. Ahsoka has visions of Rey in the Sith Temple at Malachor, after her confrontation with Vader. Or Rey has visions of Ahsoka, and seeks her out. Maybe Ahsoka’s immortal, or time-travels, or exists in a frozen sleep until Rey wakes her. What if it’s Ahsoka’s lightsaber(s) Rey gets instead of Anakin’s?

Jyn Erso/Ahsoka Tano: They know what it’s like to have to put survival first, before finding purpose again with the Rebellion. It’s something they might recognize in each other. What if the place Saw takes Jyn’s family to is Ahsoka, and she hides them? Or Jyn meets Ahsoka while Ahsoka is dealing with the Partisan cell of the Rebellion, and leaves with her instead of being alone? Maybe Ahsoka joins Jyn when she’s taken to get to Saw, in hopes of increasing the chances that he’ll see them, and that’s how they meet? Or it’s Ahsoka who picks Jyn up from the Imperial prison. What if Ahsoka was part of the Partisans, and they had a bittersweet relationship? Maybe Jyn is Force-sensitive and Ahsoka teaches her how to make a lightsaber out of that kyber crystal.

Q’ira/Ahsoka Tano: Both of these women are forced to make difficult choices: Ahsoka despairs but finds hope and purpose again, while Q’ira believes her life is the only one there can be for her. I’d love to see them clash; maybe Ahsoka gives Q’ira hope, whether or not she chooses to treat it as real or as a fairytale. Or Ahsoka accepts Q’ira’s choices but still tries to reach out and support her when they cross paths during their adventures, even if they’re on opposite sides. Q’ira thinks the only way to come out on top is to advance in her organization. To that end, when she hears of a Force user fighting for the Rebellion/doing good deeds, she investigates and tries to pit her against Maul. Alternately, Ahsoka picks her up/has the Rebellion pick her up when she’s younger, and they meet again later, with Q’ira being a Rebel contact buried in the criminal world. Or maybe she winds up back with them for real, making her next meeting with Ahsoka fraught.

Hera Syndulla/Ahsoka Tano: These two know how to dedicate themselves to a cause. They throw themselves into it, while clinging to what relationships they can. It seems they’ve been meeting for a long time before Ahsoka is revealed to the rest of the crew; how did that relationship develop? Who found who first? Did they engage in a secret adventure where neither knew the other’s face at first? Maybe Ahsoka is Hera’s resident not-Jedi—or as close as she can be to that while still doing her job as spymaster. Or just her first not-Jedi. I like Kanan; it’s fine if you want to keep him around, and/or put all three of them together. I’m also good if it’s set after his death and Ahsoka settles down with Hera, or they keep having space adventures, or go after Ezra with Sabine. I didn’t request Sabine, but she’s awesome and I wouldn’t mind if you added her to this and made a poly ship.

Padmé Amidala/Satine Kryze/Ahsoka Tano: Ahsoka comes to Mandalore because of the adventures the other two have and then returns as a consequence of what happens to Satine. They’re all different women with a desire to do good in the galaxy, and it’d be cool to see how they both clash and get along as these things rub against each other. Maybe they go on a mission where they have to hide that Ahsoka’s a Jedi, so they dress her up and give her a crash course on her fake identity. Or they have to hide their own identities, seeing as their faces are associated with trouble. What if they have to pretend Ahsoka’s their lady and they’re her handmaidens? Or Padmé and Satine pretend to be new bounty hunters working with a Jedi. Or maybe costume porn. With literal costumes and smut while trying to dress Ahsoka up.

Leia Organa/Ahsoka Tano: A founder of the Rebellion with one of its daughters. They both deal with such massive loss, largely alone. Leia had more of a support system, but we don’t see her availing herself of it. Ahsoka had no one; it seems even when she did meet with friends, if was brief and often work-related, as being a spymaster is a lonely job. Maybe Ahsoka comes back to see Leia when she’s grown, and teaches her a little of the Force. Maybe they both have to deal with the realities of Anakin/Vader together. What if Leia dreams of Ahsoka? What if they stay together throughout the OT and the ST? I don’t hate Han; handle him however you like. Maybe Leia has separate relationships with both of them, or they’re all together? Or they get back together after Han has been killed, and Ahsoka helps Leia through her grief as they both grapple with Anakin’s legacy.

Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress: They start out in one place and end up in quite another, betrayed and eventually losing all their kind to the war and the Sith. They both turn to the underworld to cope: Ahsoka goes a little more criminal as a smuggler, even if she still does good deeds, and Asajj is willing to show mercy instead of just ruthlessly going after the money as a bounty hunter. I love how Asajj sees herself in Ahsoka, despite their former status as enemies, and Ahsoka being willing to plead her case. Their partnership is one of convenience, but they’re open to the idea that there’s more going on with the other than they thought. What if for some reason Ahsoka did stay with the Jedi, at least long enough to try to help Asajj out with them, or one of them sought the other out after she left? Maybe they run into each other on separate missions, or team up for one, and it leads to more reevaluation of where they stand? I could see Asajj occasionally helping Ahsoka out when it comes to protecting children from the Sith.

Q’ira/Chelli Lona Aphra/Ahsoka Tano: Three female criminals, all with their reasons. They all get tangled in dangerous relationships with the Sith, again for their own reasons. Q’ira and Aphra are professional scoundrels in different ways; Ahsoka plays at being a scoundrel while trying to recuperate from her losses with regard to the Jedi and the Empire. They all end up at the same temple trying to procure valuable Force-imbued artifacts, Jedi or otherwise. Or it takes longer for Vader to meet Ahsoka—she’s investigating him when he’s employing Aphra and Maul is still around giving Q’ira orders. The women manage to use each other to get out alive, and they have fun before they part again. Maybe Ahsoka picks Aphra up and then meets Q’ira while working against Maul’s criminal organization, or she picks Q’ira up while investigating Vader and they take advantage of Aphra’s escape plan to capture her.

Padmé Amidala/Ahsoka Tano: I love Padmé as an encouraging and supportive mentor, and Ahsoka—unlike Anakin—being willing to listen and open herself to new ways of seeing the conflict they’re all in. It’s a sweet friendship and they know can rely on each other. Ahsoka disappears after she leaves the Jedi, because she needs to leave that whole world behind, but perhaps in a no-Anidala AU, she can move in with Padmé, herself increasingly disillusioned with the Republic, and they work through the ambiguity together. Or Padmé reaches her limits sooner than RotS and they both leave the institutions they were dedicated to together. Maybe instead of Bail it’s Padmé who reaches out to Ahsoka and invites her to join the Rebellion. I love Anakin, so if you want to incorporate him and make this a poly relationship I wouldn’t mind.

Enfys Nest/Ahsoka Tano: Having lost everything to the Empire, one way or another, they both find purpose in fighting it. Enfys focuses on the criminal element, Ahsoka protects Force-sensitive children while dealing with the more official face of the Empire. What if Ahsoka was the one who brought Enfys into the wider Rebel Alliance? Or they meet through Saw, and they clash because Enfys prefers Saw’s tactics? Maybe Enfys hears about this Force-using Rebel and they end up playing games of cat and mouse trying to find out who it is/who’s investigating Ahsoka, until they meet with a healthy respect for the other. Or they meet when one of them is still lost in their grief, and they help each other find a place in the galaxy fighting for the right thing. Maybe Ahsoka finds out about Maul long before Malachor and, in the process of fighting him/taking down the Crimson Dawn, teams up with Enfys to take care of their shared problem.

Q'ira/Ahsoka Tano/Asajj Ventress: They’re all trying to make their way in an unfriendly galaxy, with varying levels of support. As mentioned above with regard to Ahsoka/Asajj, they see something in each other, if cautiously. What if they teamed up and, on the way, rescued Q’ira from her life in Corellia? She could become a Rebel, or a bounty hunter—or both—or be helped onto another path while keeping in contact with the other two. Maybe Asajj takes off with her alone, and they have tension with Ahsoka when she’s off dealing with the criminal element as part of her role as spymaster? Asajj returns to Dathomir with Ahsoka and they meet Q’ira while dealing/fighting with Maul; Q’ira takes the opportunity to be rid of Maul, running off with them or becoming head of Crimson Dawn by the end.

Rey/Ahsoka Tano/Rose Tico: Three mechanics sharing tips and a little more. They’ve lost so much, but they keep hope alive for the sake of what’s right, and in the face of that loss they hold true to their values. Ahsoka is immortal or time travels to the future. Rose finds her having gone to ground and recruits her into the Resistance, where as the resident Force practictioner she gets to meet Rey. They cling to what snatches of time they can get together in the fight against the First Order. Or maybe Ahsoka finds a Force-sensitive Rose, then Rey? Or Rey dreams of Ahsoka and teams up with Rose to find her for the Resistance. Maybe they’re on some other mission, but some Force shenanigans send them both back in time to meet Ahsoka and they bring her back with them.

Rey/Leia Organa/Ahsoka Tano: Like the trio above, these women have had to deal with so much, and they do it as well as they can, out of dedication to what they believe in and their heroic spirits. There’s a shared association with hope: Ahsoka lives because “there’s always hope” and she’s the last of her kind, leaving behind what she thought she would never have to let go of; Leia dedicates herself to inspiring hope throughout two separate wars; Rey brings hope to the Resistance by coming into her own as a Jedi; they all bring hope to others even when they have none for themselves. They also have to deal with the Skywalker legacy—directly through who Vader was and indirectly through who Kylo Ren is. What if it’s Ahsoka Leia sends Rey to find? Maybe Luke is with Ahsoka, so Rey brings her back instead. Or they have a mysterious ally in the Outer Rim and it’s her?

crossovers - Fandom

Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)/Diana (DC Cinematic Universe), Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)/Buffy Summers (Buffy), Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars)/Valkyrie (MCU), Buffy Summers (Buffy)/Wynonna Earp (Wynonna Earp), Buffy Summers (Buffy)/Diana (DC Cinematic Universe), Buffy Summers (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)/Brunnhilde | Valkyrie (MCU), Nancy Drew (Carolyn Keene)/Scheherazade "Sadie" Keating (1931:SatLoP), Fanfiction, Fanvid

Two great tastes that taste great together! These crossovers can work either as a fusion of the two realities (with the characters from both canons of course) or an interdimensional crossover (especially in the case of the superhero/Star Wars/Buffy canons); I’m good either way! I’m also fine with however you want to handle the fact of superheroes and Star Wars existing in the Buffy universe.

Ahsoka Tano/Diana: Two very kickass women who start unaware of their destiny and the reality of the world around them, and learn to deal with the pain it brings; tempted into vengeance and rage, they choose a path that aligns with their values and remain themselves. There’s also the suggestion that Diana has hidden herself after WWI because of the attending trauma, which could go well with both Ahsoka having to hide after the genocide of her kind at the end of her own war, and with Ahsoka needing to go even deeper underground after the events of Malachor. Maybe Themyscira is a secret planet instead of an island, and Ahsoka goes there in her wanderings. They could become friends during the Clone Wars as they face the horrors of war in their youth, or maybe a weary Ahsoka finds Diana during the height of the Galactic Empire. Maybe both!

Ahsoka Tano/Valkyrie: As made clear above, I love the idea of two women traumatized after a great ordeal—the loss of all their kind, the disillusion in the institutions they were part of and had dedicated themselves to fighting for—coming together. Especially because these two have such different outlooks after it all. Ahsoka is lost to her depression and to the need for survival, but after a year she finds purpose again in fighting for the people who need her. It takes much longer for Valkyrie to come to this, and when she does it’s the idea of vengeance that gets her going. When Ahsoka was lost, she became a smuggler but still tried to do small things for people. When Valkyrie was lost, she captured other lost people and sold them to a life of slavery in combat. What if Ahsoka comes upon Sakaar during her travels (instead of Raada or before, or after)? What if she had to survive there; would she go underground among the people, or get captured by Valkyrie and fight her way up the ranks? I could see her being discovered and having to work her way out of it, or Valkyrie visiting and them bonding once she became the reigning champion.

Ahsoka Tano/Buffy Summers: They’re both these bright, gifted young women with a destiny greater and more painful than they ever imagined. They handle it with witty aplomb and they try so hard to stay true to their values, even if sometimes it’s all they can do to just live another day. They endure, and they triumph, and they’re really fun. Given the use of dreams in their canons, maybe one dreams of the other, or they both dream of each other, and slip between universes that way. You could do a fusion: Buffy’s the Chosen One Ahsoka is apprenticed to, or Ahsoka is a way better version of that Guardian who shows up in “End of Days,” Ahsoka is a Watcher who quit the Council just like Buffy did and shows up in Sunnydale all intrigued upon hearing of this unorthodox Slayer. Or Ahsoka walks into this world at some point after trying to leave the World Between Worlds? You could connect the Sith Temple on Malachor to the Hellmouth. Maybe one canon is further back or forward in time than the other, and one of these women becomes immortal/gets frozen in a mystical/carbonite-like sleep until they’re found by the other. Ahsoka could find Buffy in a Jedi Temple, or vice versa; Star Wars is supposed to be “long ago,” after all. Or! The classic BTVS Halloween AU could be of use.

Buffy Summers/Wynonna Earp: Wynonna is Western Buffy if she was also Faith. I love the idea of them bonding over how much they love kicking ass even though destiny sucks, and their love for their resourceful little sisters. There’s also the different ways they were both on the outside, of their schools and of their town: Buffy as a former cheerleader turned apparent delinquent who missed her old life, and Wynonna as the bad girl who embraced her status even if she wasn’t happy with how she was treated. Plus, Wynonna’s curse may be more localized and specific to her, but she could use the help in keeping the town safe. Maybe Buffy finds out about the Purgatory weirdness when traveling with her new Slayers after “Chosen”, or she runs a lot farther than L.A. after the events of “Becoming.” Or, she and Wynonna meet when they’re both running from the misery and terror their destiny has laid out for them. Or! An AU where they both attended the same high school and are both still Chosen.

Buffy Summers/Diana: Both destined for something they don’t know, one with imbued with divine power and the other with the demonic. Diana walks in darkness, hiding herself from the world—despite also making a career in it—while Buffy walks in that world as much as she can, holding on to her connections even as they become brittle and she has to go work shitty jobs to survive in it. They’re both isolated from their sisters for different reasons. What if Diana’s after some artifact that ends up in Sunnydale? It’s mystical and shenanigans ensue. Maybe she even settles down in Sunnydale instead of working at the Louvre, given the kinds of dangerous things that end up there. Or they meet while Buffy is in Rome and have to take care of an ancient monster together? Maybe Diana hears rumors about this group of monster-slaying women and investigates. Or, like the Knights, she knows about Glory and helps Buffy fight her off in Sunnydale.

Buffy Summers/Valkyrie: They’re badass and disillusioned with the people who sent them off to fight. They handle it differently, but both quit—Buffy multiple times—and try to reject the call until it’s in their faces again. They’re part of a sisterhood but also utterly alone in it: Valkyrie lost all of hers, Slayers can only be part of that sisterhood if the others before them are dead—not to mention Buffy losing the ones she does get even when that rule is circumvented. Buffy makes the Slayer mantle her own before redefining it again in “Chosen”; I’d love to see Valkyrie doing the same thing post Ragnarok, or they meet while Buffy is still in the process of doing that, and they set out on that path together. Or Buffy winds up on Sakaar instead of a hell dimension in L.A., and hides her strength while working as something else to avoid getting captured. Or she does get captured and, they bond in a frenemies sort of way after. Alternately, Valkyrie comes to Earth with/instead of Thor at some point; they stop an apocalyptic threat together and hang out.

Nancy Drew/Scheherazade “Sadie” Keating: Two plucky, intelligent heroines who travel the world with mystery and intrigue! Nancy investigates a dig Sadie is at, and they can’t resist buddying up to figure things out. Or they’re at odds, in a clash of their professions, but respect each other’s abilities and become drawn to each other. You can go with the 30s setting or do something more modern. If you play the Nancy Drew video games, you could go with that canon instead of the books, or both!

Thank you again, and I hope you have a great experience this exchange!
