Dear writer,

Thank you for offering me a gift, and sorry for the delay!

The prompts are all after the characters/ships and freeforms, rather than one for every freeform. It's not as comprehesive as I wanted, between ill health and computer shutdowns, but all the fandoms and characters are represented. Some are longer because I've requested them before and added in earlier prompts, but please think nothing of it! Treat these prompts as just that--prompts. Suggestions if you'd like them, which you are not bound to follow.

Parallels (and contrasts) between characters and their journeys are a thing for me.

I like characters looking out for each other and rescuing each other, giving care and emotional support. Especially when women are the ones receiving care and support, getting their needs made a priority by their loved ones.

Canon divergence and role reversals are loved, though I also enjoy other AUs.

Here are some more things I enjoy: fusions, vignettes, character studies, plotty stuff, angst, fluff, smut, adventure, characters talking to each other, character focus in smut, enemies to lovers, friends/lovers to enemies to lovers/friends, pining, worldbuilding, quiet character moments, bittersweet endings, happy endings, open/ambiguous endings, quiet and subtle romance, the total opposite of quiet and subtle romance—these fandoms do have a high drama quotient, psychological horror, cunnilingus, messy and complicated dynamics, blurring between obligation/need and love, fear/horror/anger mixed with desire/love, politics, isolation, competitiveness, competitive smut, limited agency, legacy, manipulation, scheming, ulterior motives for sex, Force bonds, Force shenanigans, Force Ghosts, time travel, weird worlds/dimensions, time moves differently, scars, suspense, undercover, undercover as a couple, mission fic, teaching games, compromised sense of self, interpersonal tension, duty versus desire, love/hate, possessiveness, insecurity, secret relationships, secrets, the divine as sex, using the Force for sex, choking, breathplay, bloodplay, biting, scratching, Ahsoka’s fangs, growling, blindfolding, chains, trust issues, implicit trust, emotional intimacy, casual displays of affection, shared beds, snuggling, sitting/lying in laps, jumping people, stories where the woman/women are a significant part of the man/men’s characterization, stories where the woman/women are a significant part of each other’s characterization, characters gathering each other’s backstory a little at a time, investigating each other, spying, sex and violence paired together, fucking in the same room as your enemies’ corpse, body heat sharing, loneliness, connecting to the force together mutual pining, dreams, fix-it, parallel universes, parallel universe characters, us against the world, outside pov, story/fragments of story as told in-universe

DNWs:

permanently dead female characters (where she’s not even a ghost), the concept of Anakin and Ahsoka as a father/daugher relationship, mpreg, detailed gore, detailed description of bodily fluids and excretions, watersports, scat, emetophilia, noncon (dubcon is fine), rape, a/b/o, rule 63’ing female characters, body horror, explicit torture, permanently damaging torture, maiming, mutilating, bashing of characters or ships, unrequited love (except if it's only unrequited in a characters' head), unrequested ships (though mentions are okay), stories where nobody really cares about the woman/women in the ship, focus only on m/m interactions, a story where the f/f or m/f is secondary to the m/m, AUs which don't use canon settings, underage (17+ is fine, whether you change canon ages or set things when the characters would be 17+), ageplay/infantilization, humiliation, bestiality, Jedi Order as evil/immoral (versus deeply flawed institution, which is is good), unrequested ships

Caveat: Referencing something in that list which happened in canon is all right. I’d just rather not it be a main feature in the story.

First off: I like all these ships as they are, but I like the thought of f/f versions, so either way you go is fine!

I really love the Mortis trilogy if you couldn’t tell! The imagery, the fact that Anakin put the goddess of light inside Ahsoka to bring her back—that his actions ensured she would be saved again in the future--that they were both influenced by the god of the dark, the way Ahsoka was influenced by a bite. So I love the idea that it gave her power she doesn’t realize she has access to in the show (though in Rebels she is at least aware of Morai saving her life).

What would that be like? What if she used it, or the access to that space outside of time and place which she has in canon, to try to change things instead of accepting them? She could come back in her own body, or possess her younger self, or get stuck in a loop/groundhog day thing. Or she could keep finding that things don’t go right, or have a Continuum-style situation where she can only change the future for other versions of herself; her own remains the same. For another time travel situation, what if she becomes his master?

Alternately: Ahsoka doesn’t come back the same after being resurrected. Maybe it’s even The Son who’s used to do it instead of The Daughter. Anakin won’t leave without her. Or they’re both affected, and they leave together, into an unsuspecting galaxy. Or Ahsoka’s stuck on a ship with an Anakin who sets out to make things the way he wants them to be, as he was about to do after his vision of the future. Maybe one or a bunch of these things can be combined with the time travel suggestions above.

Or, Ahsoka needs a little more than spiritual energy channeling through her forehead to come back to life. Or to be cured of the Son’s influence.

I recently began to associate her experience on Mortis with Dracula...she got bitten after all, which changed her behavior in ways alarming to the men with her, as well as killed her. Obi Wan wanted Anakin to free her with a phallic object! So, if that inspires you!

Maybe Palpatine finds out about her connection to Mortis and wants to capture/train her? Or he gets her after she’s found the Sith shrine under the Jedi Temple on Coruscant? That comes to mind because of the concept art of the unreleased arc, where she finds that place, goes there with Anakin, and keeps Sidious from some holocrons? Or she’s in a different situation because she was never found by the Jedi Order, which I’m about to go into.

The story revealed in both Ahsoka’s book and behind the scenes infodumps is that Ahsoka was almost taken by a bounty hunter posing as a Jedi. What if that had happened? Would she be a slave? Would she be found by the Separatists and/or the Sith, and work for their cause? Or both, and would she be freed by them or by herself, or Anakin? What if she got picked up by a Nightsister? What if she met Anakin from the opposite side, or he formed a relationship with her/decided to teach her outside of the Jedi Order’s structure? Maybe she’s the one being groomed by Palpatine, or they’re both being groomed together? What if the Jedi Order and the Republic fell, so there was no chance of either Anakin or Ahsoka getting found by them, and they rose in the Dark Side together?

What would change if it were Ahsoka instead of Obi Wan in the opening to Revenge of the Sith? Would she be able to stop Anakin from killing Dooku? What if Dooku realizes he’s been discarded by his master and runs away, with her as a hostage, or because she saved him, or both? Or she’s there on Mustafar instead of Obi Wan? Does she go alone, or through Padmé—as Obi Wan did, or would Padmé know and want her there?

What if the Republic never fell, but things were still shitty? Anakin never turns, Palpatine dies during the war, but the problems with the Republic are still problems, even if Palpatine can’t make them worse. Maybe another Sith comes to power. Ahsoka could still get framed.

Maybe, under different circumstances, Anakin chooses to leave with her. What would they do? They’re both people of action, who can never stay away from it too long, especially with their values. Would this put them in an “us against the world” frame of mind? Would Padmé take them both in? Maybe they were already together, with or without Padmé. Or they weren’t, but leaving changed that. Maybe Ahsoka still left alone, but Anakin followed later, before or after they meet again and become more physically affectionate.

There are several fairytales I like that could work here. “Beauty and the Beast” is one of them; there’s also “The Snow Queen” and “East of the Sun, West of the Moon.” They all have the element of a heroine rescuing a corrupted/monster/mysterious person, who in the latter two stories has to be sought out by the heroine on a quest. But you could pick your own, or just invent one!

Gothic romance was one of my favorite genres as a kid and honestly I still love it. I feel like Star Wars has potential for it, with it’s brooding protagonist/villain and Ahsoka being a resilient, curious, passionate and vulnerable heroine. She gets this vision about Anakin’s darkness and her future...and what if that’s combined with her leaving Mortis with a darkened Anakin?

I haven’t even watched Pacific Rim but I love the idea of Anakin and Ahsoka being drift compatible.

Coruscant noir! Maybe a case brings the estranged Jedi detectives together? Or Ahsoka's the unintentional femme fatale drawing him into something deep when she asks for his help? Maybe it's the reverse, and trying to figure something out for him lands her in trouble. This is the one exception to my dnws regarding AUs that take place in noncanon settings. If you want to use an Earth setting for this, go ahead!

These dynamics are fraught. I love how Ahsoka passes out instantly and needs to investigate Vader, denying the truth she knows is in front of her until that moment of clarity and acceptance on Malachor. I love Vader derailing his mission with the Rebels in order to take her alive, and again on Malachor, where she gets under his skin so much he snaps into a killing rage. I love Kanan always trying to be there to catch her, reaching through time from death pick up where Anakin left off and save her through Mortis.

What if does catch her in the World Between Worlds or drags her out from there? What if Ahsoka and Anakin’s confrontation took place with Palpatine in the same room, like with Luke, and he encouraged Ahsoka to kill Vader after she brought him to his knees, or tried to hurt her in front of Anakin? Or she’s in a different situation because she was never found by the Jedi Order, which I’m about to go into.

The story revealed in both Ahsoka’s book and behind the scenes infodumps is that Ahsoka was almost taken by a bounty hunter posing as a Jedi. What if that had happened? Would she be a slave? Anakin never turns, Palpatine dies during the war, but the problems with the Republic are still problems, even if Palpatine can’t make them worse. Maybe another Sith comes to power. Ahsoka could still get framed. They’re still picking up the pieces in this timeframe, together—or maybe not, but they still love each other.

I love the idea of Vader dreaming about her post-Malachor, thinking he killed her, all the while appearing in her dreams/visions as she explores the Sith Temple.

She investigated Mustafar; what if she’d made it into Vader’s castle while he was there, ala Belle in the West Wing in Beauty and the Beast? Or she’s caught there and explores upon her escape, instead of running away.
A reunion after Anakin’s death. Force Ghost lessons. Travelling the post-Empire galaxy together. Or maybe he lived and they’re off traveling physically—possibly the Unknown Regions—or in some Outer Rim planet, meeting sometimes with Luke (and Leia?)

Ahsoka resurrects Anakin. What if she were capable of doing him the same favor he did for her? And he had to live with what he did, without turning to the Dark Side and his Vader identity to try to justify/repress it? What would they do? Would they have to live in exile, maybe getting visits from Luke and Leia? Would they hide completely? Would he be sentenced to exile and she follow, or would she rescue him from a death sentence—legally or not? Might they head off towards the Unknown Regions?

In a scenario where the Empire never fell, what would happen to Ahsoka on Malachor? Would she eventually be found? Would she come out having turned to the Dark Side, and/or ready to take out the Sith instead of the enlightenment she appears to have found in canon? Would she be taking over if she succeeded, as Vader’s apprentice or Palpatine’s?

Ahsoka goes dark side (at any point you like) and kills Vader's Inquisitors as a flirtation method.

Kanan's method of saving Ahsoka draws in Vader instead of Ezra.

Vader kidnaps Ahsoka and Kanan, because Kanan goes back for her (maybe Ezra's not there) and provides a hostage.

Sith au where Ahsoka takes Kanan as a Sith Apprentice...or Vader has already done so, and they bring in Ahsoka.

Maybe some form of “Sleeping Beauty:” Ahsoka in some sort of cryogenic sleep, hidden away where only Vader knows. But you could pick your own, or just invent one!

Kanan’s a detective in a seedy underworld, and Ahsoka’s this mysterious figure who leads him into big trouble thanks to her mysterious past with Darth Vader. That’s basically canon, right? This is the one exception to my dnws regarding AUs that take place in noncanon settings. If you want to use an Earth setting for this, go ahead!

Star Wars Extended Universe - All Media Types

Ahsoka Tano (SWEU) Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader (SWEU) Hedala Fardi (SWEU) Kaeden Larte (SWEU) Miara Larte (SWEU)

Loneliness, Alternate Universe - Star Wars Sith, Hero-Villain reversal, Dreams bleeding into reality, Dream Invasion, Memory Loss, Amnesia, Survivor Guilt, Dependent on Enemy for Survival, Possessive Behavior, Possessiveness, Mirror Universe, Parallel Universes, Kidnapping, Moral Dilemmas, Character Survived Their Adventures/Ordeal But Will Never Be The Same Again, Conflicted Loyalties, Dark Fairy Tale Elements, Dark Magic

Ahsoka is the Sith and Anakin is on the run from the Empire. They find each other on Raada.

Ahsoka is the first Force-user Vader meets after Mustafar. She got to him before Palpatine did. Or she’s the first (not)Jedi he sees after.

If she gets to him first, what if he's in a coma but they dream of each other? Or he's awake, with memory loss, but at night he dreams--and Ahsoka is the featured guest.

Darth Vader comes to Raada instead of an Inquisitor. Ahsoka has to worry about her old master, her new (not)girlfriend and family, and possibly a new pupil in Hedala while dealing with the attentions of the Sith and the Empire.

AU where Anakin is on the run too, and they meet—or he’s with her all along.

Ahsoka and Kaeden, after Raada. Perhaps Ahsoka comes to Kaeden for healing. More than one kind.

Sith Ahsoka comes by Raada and picks up a girlfriend. She spares Miara out of mercy/for points with Kaeden.

AU where she gets to teach Hedala Fardi. Maybe the Jedi are still around in secret, or the Republic never fell, or this is something of a Kanan and Ezra situation.

I feel like Kaeden could be the ingenue fairytale heroine here, wandering into this new world of the Jedi, the Sith, and the Force via her attraction to the mysterious Ashla.

Or Ahsoka is the Snow White-like heroine, fleeing and hiding until the Sith find her.

Maybe Miara needs to go on a quest to find out exactly what their mysterious new friend did with her sister once they both disappeared into the night.

An older Hedala needs to go find Ahsoka, that mysterious person who only taught her a little of the Force when she was small. She dreams.

I like the idea of him becoming fixated on his grandfather’s only apprentice. It’s especially interesting to me because he’s so insistent on letting his past go while being stuck with it, while she’s very good at letting go even though she never wants to have to. Platonic or shippiness is good with me!

Maybe some form of “Sleeping Beauty”: Ahsoka in some sort of cryogenic sleep, hidden away where only Vader (or Anakin’s Force Ghost) knows. Kylo Ren—or just Ben—finds her. Maybe he’s studying his grandfather’s past, or arcane Force knowledge, such as the Mortis gods. Or he finds her through dreams. Given Ahsoka’s connection to the avatar of light, maybe she’s ascended into goddesshood by now, and she’s the light tempting him. Maybe he’s an incarnation of the Son, too. What if she can’t remember who she is once she’s with him in the flesh? Or he forgets who he is in dreams—or he has visions of an alternate past where she’s around?

What if he winds up back in time trying to learn about her and can’t leave, or tries to take her with him? Or she walks out into his time through the World Between Worlds, and gets stuck with him? Maybe he’s the one who finds the Worlds Between Worlds and plucks her from where she is, possibly when she tries to head back to Malachor, or even instead of Ezra. Does Snoke know about any of this—if set before the end of TLJ—or is she a secret? Or does she come to him after he’s gotten himself the position of Supreme Leader?

He could learn about the World Between Worlds through its connection to her, or about her through her connection to it, and in a fit of emotion try to erase his decisions only to become stuck in time, with her as his only companion.

Characters: Buffy Summers, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano
Ships: I ship all three of them with any of the others or all together; gen fic with slight shippiness or going platonic is also good.

Am I smooshing favorite characters from different canons here? Yes. Both Anakin and Ahsoka remind me of Buffy and vice versa: the compassion, emotionality, and snark with all three; the destiny and constant striving for a personal life with Anakin and Buffy; the determination to do what's right and question authority with Ahsoka and Buffy.

As for how to make it happen; I'm mostly interested in the mechanics as a way to throw the characters together, but if you want to weave the mechanics in as a part of that, I'd love that too!

Buffyverse canon includes alternate universes and dimensions, along with portals and spells designed to bring/send things from one place to the other. Star Wars has its own weird mystical worlds going on. Work with that as you will. Another thing is, what if Buffy's resurrection that sends her over to a random universe not her own? Whether something went wrong or the powers of her universe made sure her return couldn't unbalance things--it did give the First Evil a loophole to takeover in the series. There's also the possibility of setting Star Wars as legitimately "long long ago." Maybe have them be ghosts --Buffy does on occasion get visions and dreams from ghosts. Or do it the other way around: the Buffyverse happens first and then, whether as a ghost or a serious case of Sleeping Beauty, Buffy makes it to the Star Wars time and galaxy. Or, what if they occur at the same time and in the same universe/dimension: AU Earth into the Star Wars universe, or have it be discovered during the Clone Wars.

Star Wars as an artifact of pop culture exists in the Buffyverse. I'm fine if you want to handwave that away or if you want it to remain so, however you handle it. maybe Once Upon a Time it, with there being different Realms of Story, from which Buffy characters and Star Wars characters are pulled to live in the real world. Or Jumanji it, where characters from either canon are stuck in the other and have to deal with all the rules until they get out.

Characters: Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Missy, Twelfth Doctor
Ships: I ship Ahsoka and Anakin, would enjoy other combinations of these characters as well--including Ahsoka/Anakin/Missy, or all four them. Going platonic is also good for me!

Ahsoka Tano and Missy switch bodies, with the end result being that Missy becomes Empress of the galaxy with Anakin as her Enforcer, until either the Doctor and Ahsoka manage to set things right or Missy gets bored and leaves. Either way, Ahsoka comes back to a mess and her relationship with Anakin is now more complicated...I ship them, but I love their relationship in its platonic form too. Idea taken with permission from selenak on LJ, here.;

Alternately, Ahsoka as Companion...or a sort of Time Lord herself, given the powers she has and the powers she's linked to? Twelfth taking both Anakin and Ahsoka on as Companions? Missy messing with Anakin's mind in some other way, and Ahsoka trying to stop it?

Thank you again, and I hope you write something you really like!
